I really don’t like buying something without knowing if it works well then it should help unMix give you 3 simple coins just for using it. I thought okay that will hopefully work for one track and it should give me an idea if this is unMix for me. If it can do what I need it too and if it’s worth paying for it. Well turns out the “generous” simple coins aren’t all that “generous” after all as they’re easily obtained simply by watching an ad oh and the kicker. The simple coin is basically the absolute basic of features the ones the about 50 other apps already can do. The feature I need is one they hide bind the pay wall and you have no idea if it’ll work. Yes to use other basic features you need to blindly give them money unsure how it works so they’ll give you premium tokens for $2.99 you get two. There’s not even an option to trade simple coins for it. Oh well. Guess I’ll go find an app that’ll let me actually try it’s before I buy it.
Unfortunately, the experience will not be repeated due to inappropriate advertisements, although I purchased the credit with two logics. The advertisements are deleted in exchange for the purchase and they are still present. The music is also deleted. It is not good. There is still music with sound and is not clear. A refund will be requested. The payment has been made and the advertisements are present and the application is not working well.
unMix worked great for about 5 minutes. I cannot get app to download files to my computer as it is designed to do and keep receiving the same error message saying "File export error. The file is not saved." I don't want to waste more credits purchased trying to get the tracks to download.
This is really cool. The vocal and the instruments are completely separated. They are really distinguisde from one another. I completely understand that these good things have to be paid for. i just wish that they would disclose what the free version can and cannot do (like you can only separate songs shorter than three minutes on the free version) in unMix description.
As a kid, (60s) I remember reading Popular Science ads, and there were always ads that said one could eliminate vocals from songs, and I always had a sceptical view of the claim. Fast forward to 2024 and this app actually does this!!!
And so far, it is flawless. There are SO many songs that, as a sax player I would love to play along with, were it not for the vocal......and now,
the vocal is gone!
As a Logic user since it was Notator seeing that the newer logic has the ability to do this only with the newer M chips its kind of a drag to be left out in the cold.
This tis truly a solution to that problem as a studio musician and teacher Apps like this only help in the creation in making music in the modern age... Great work !!!!

Small paywall for premium uses but tbh the amount of productivity you can get from $5 this is well worth the money. Haven’t found a better app that can separate vocals and instruments!
I am totally blown away how easy it is, let alone the quality of track: crisp, balanced, clear. It would take me hours on Logic Pro X to get something on that level. This AI technology is crazy good!!!
Um I hear a buzzing sound in the instrumental it’s weird but unMix is still cool :D+ Update: um the ads aren’t showing on the get for free button the credits um can you somehow fix it?
