This game is pretty mediocre. The game is simple and isn’t that special but it’s fun for a bit. Something I noticed very quickly is this game uses many assets, animations, images, and more from many other games. It has models of Hungry Shark Evolution and Fish Feed & Grow, or Feed & Grow Fish. Also, the advertisements I’ve seen for this game literally took footage from Fish Feed & Grow… or Feed & Grow Fish. Also, the advertisements used audio from Pungence, a YouTuber who plays games like Amazing Frog and Fish Feed & Grow………….or Feed & Grow Fish. I don’t know if they got permission from these games of content creators but I don’t think so. If the developers did then I’m sorry but I don’t believe you did. Also, this is more of a personal preference but, the survival game, it is the worst. It is so unfair and once you make it to like 1 minute, it literally just turns into enemy spam. Also the merging system is very tedious and just not that fun. Once again, this is just personal preference.

FishEaterio claims it is online multiplayer. It isn’t. You can prove it by putting your phone into airplane mode with wifi off. You’ll still be matched in their “online multiplayer” battles. Now onto the ads - would you play a game on a console like a switch or a PlayStation where you had to watch ads just to play? I wouldn’t. This is that. If you find it fun, which I do, you’ll want to just pay for the ad-less version and be on your way. But don’t try and skimp out because the basic ad-less version doesn’t block all ads. Only interstitial ads. So, you know, more ads. So now you know: this game is not online multiplayer - it’s AI driven, your score is likely not actually on any leaderboards, and the ads are just to waste your time by throwing more time wasting games your way. Bottom line: try it and if you like it, buy the fully ad-less vip version and waste some time in peace, without annoying ads.

So let me start off by saying this game is fun, great if you need a break. However, the fact that ad options pop up after every 2-4 interactions gets irritating. That’s fine, I can live with it as long as the game balances it out, but what breaks it for me is that the developers hide the X button on forced ads unless you repeatedly tap the screen to make it appear after 5 seconds of watching the ad AND it appears for a split section so you have to tap it quickly just to exit the ad. Why would they do that you might ask? To force you to buy one of their 2 ad removal bundles. A subscription for just a week of ad removal, one for $3 and one for $10. One completely removes all ads and one only removes the forced ads. I’m sorry but if playing for 30mins forces me to watch 10 mins worth of ads it’s not worth it for me. Imagine having a 10 min break at work and you spend 3-4 mins watching ads. I’m good, have fun though

I love the game, truly its fun and once you get rid of the ads its just pure addicting. However, i have purchased every bundle package there is, 2 of which should have gotten rid of the ads. Yet, I wake up today ready to play a few rounds and go to grab my triple offline boost and notice, it wants me to watch an ad. Okay weird, close FishEaterio . Open it again, same thing. I check all the other stuff that for my status shouldnt have ads anymore and what do you know it wants me to watch ads. I did not pay the money i did to be told it would get rid of the ads just for it to make me watch the ads again a day later like I didnt just drop $30 on packages for no ads and skins that I cant access anymore. So how we gonna fix this?

I was playing a game and I saw the add for this, and it was an add of the game I really want. I read a few reviews, and figured I might try it out. (My thoughts were “Welp, I might just buy a knock-off of a game but at least I’d get what I wanted in some way shape or form!”) I loaded in, rather excited and started playing. It is basically a knock-off of that hungry shark game, where you go around eating things. It was not at all what was advertised. I know that games scam you with advertisements a lot, but it just sorta sucked anyways. (And it kicked me out after about thirty seconds.) The only reason I gave it two stars, is because you might like it if you know what your getting.
I immediately un-downloaded it, but give it a shot, you never know if you’ll like stuff like it!

The squid is too OP but the ads show exactly what it is. The game is actually better than the ads tbh. Its very fun and i enjoy it btw yall who say the ads arent real are not even playing the game. They arent even violent. The game is more violent. I mean theres blood and killing and eating fish i guess idk elliecat is clearly like very young or too old because this is perfect for me, a 10 year old. I am obsessed with this game. It is not violent at all. Maybe a little blood and like every voodoo game or stuff like that, has you attacking players. Its fun and good for boring times btw elliecat please just stop judging. They try to help you since its a little bit complicated. STOP YELLING T THEM FOR BEING KIND

I bought season pass bundle and was more than half way through one of the 3, now I login and it says I need to purchase again and all my progress is gone but I still have the sharks from the pass.. can’t figure out how to get in touch with support

It’s a fun game and I really enjoyed it.. and if you by the ad free bundle, they legitimately mean no ads.. it’s been fantastic. But once you get to the level 41 fish, your inventory fills up, there’s nothing to chase to make you want to keep playing AND you lose the ability for upgrades because you have to “create a new fish” in order for an upgrade to unlock.. I feel sure more could be added and tweaked to fix this but wether it happens or not is up in the air.

This game kept showing up on adds. I had been looking for a simulation game that was underwater, and in the adds, that’s what this game seemed to be. So I downloaded, not knowing how disappointed I would be. Sure, you are still a fish, but it is a slow, easy-to-win game, it not as interesting or cool as I thought it would be. Coins are slow to get, and it constantly lags, and if I want to use a power up, I have to watch adds. You can’t even buy it.

Sure, adds have a reputation to not even be relevant to the actual game, but this one of the most disappointed ones I’ve seen in a while. This, and Fishdom.

If you are looking for a simulator game that is high quality, fast paced, and fun, DO NOT DOWNLOAD FISH EATER.

They lied you aren’t actually competing with actual online players instead you are competing with A.I/bots, lame for lying.
Finding this out took the fun out of the game for me, I will be uninstalling. It is obvious this isn’t multiplayer because if you lose, you can “revive” yourself, but when you click revive you have to watch a whole one-minute advertisement, then you magically load back into the game in the exact position you were when you lost, able to eat the fish that clearly already apparently “won” the game by eating you first.. clearly fake. Also allegedly if you turn on airplane mode, you can still play which wouldn’t be possible if it was actually online gameplay.

I got this game thinking it was gonna be more interesting..but than I discovered that it was just like the other fish game’s I’ve got!the turtorial was so long and annoying, and the adds were 30 seconds long! Every time I pressed buy and I didn’t have enough coins, a deal would come up and say “shuffle”! It had no buttons at the top tp get rid of it so I just had to turn the game off and turn it back on!😡The adds were 30 secs may I say again!WHY it’s just eating other players and evolving your character!Also the adds were violent! So violent there was blood! I do not recommend this game to anyone under 13!it’s just chaos!:(

The Devs know the game is repetitive and isn’t interesting enough to lure people in, so they lie about the content in ads. The real game almost fun for all of one level, then everything after that is the same, you just unlock new skins to play against “real players.” The ads show a game that would be more interesting if it were real; they spend more effort in advertisement than they do the actual game. They’ll probably make up some lame justification for their disgraceful dishonesty like “well it’s in the same spirit as the real game!”

I can’t play this game anymore. Not only is not fun, but knowing it’s made by liars like this just ruins anything unique about it.

I want so badly to rate this one as a full 5 stars. I love the development of each fish, the different aspects of the game, and the online multiplayer.
The reason I can only give 3 stars is because it doesn’t follow the advertised protocol for ad removal. I made the $2.99 purchase for the ad removal and a few assets, but still have to sit through ads after rounds as if I never made the purchase. Developers should honor what they advertise when it comes to people who are willing to pay for a good application and game. Not swindle them into a purchase then withhold what the customer pays for.

I bought one of the packs to remove ads, as both of my older boys and myself enjoyed playing this game.

In that advertised pick, which now in the store shows “Owned,” it says I am supposed to receive 3,200 gems/diamonds every day. Or at least that’s how it’s made to look. I haven’t received even a fraction of that, and I’m pretty sure it’s been over a week now. On top of that, all of the “activities” like the wheel and the other bonuses..

It says you get 3 free chances a day, per activity offered. However, after the initial three chances on the first day I unlocked them, I have received ZERO other chances. It just says “will reset at 0:00:00 each day” or something like that.

Literally everything else about the game is awesome. The evolutions are fun, the “multiplayer” which just seems like the other .io games, and even the survival is fun. But I would be willing to change the rating to five stars if I can get help on the issues I’ve raised. Thanks!

I bought the svip version with no ads are anything, but I still haven’t received my svip benefits. I paid over $15. I also bought a few creatures, I still haven’t got my daily benefits. I’ve been waiting 2 days now and still haven’t received any of my svip benefits, what’s going on guys??

I’m still not receiving fortune and box shuffle, I’ve been VIP for a while now, is anything beind done about this?

I was on level 15 one day but when I check the next, I was back to level twelve. I checked and other people have had that issue as well.
The gameplay also was awful. Their was almost no point in the fights since everyone else was a boy and the fire squid for whatever reason targets you on some rounds then doesn’t on others. When you win the fights which you almost always do since there’s no competition, the battles give very little coins compared to how much you need to get to the next level. Overall I expected better and will never play again. I hope this review helped.

This game is amazing I even showed it to my grandpa he was so happy that he stopped moving for a week! Though I should probably wake him up but he always told me to never wake him up from a good nap. He’s still so overjoyed that his face started to come off! I never knew my grandpa knew any special effects he even got the smell of a decomposing corpse on point! thank you for making such a great game!! :)

So this probably 5 year old named elliekat wrote a review about the ads being “too violent and long” when 30 seconds is the average time and blood in video games is nothing, I’ve seen 6 year olds playing doom eternal, this isn’t bad elliekat1218. Also the game is good but I’m wondering if you have fixed the item deletion at lvl 15. But other than that elliekat don’t be so hooked up on it being “too violent”

FishEaterio is purposely built with tons of ads, takes your money to remove them, and still throws ads at you. So many 30 second ads that you barely play at all. Click on anything - another 30 second ad.
There is no tutorial in FishEaterio .
The daily mission resets every three days or so, the achievements do no update when you reach them, and most of the buttons on receiving the extras do not work (box shuffle, 7-day award, fortune, etc). Specifically to take your money to progress in the game.

Absolutely worst game ever I loved it at first but it started deleting my stuff when I got to level 15 I went to play a different game came back and it had deleted me back to level 12 not the first time it happened either I was at level 10 and I logged out of the game logged back in and I had to restart not only that but as soon as I downloaded the game my phone started bugging out and it started deleting my stuff off of my other apps such a Snapchat Facebook and Instagram and I couldn’t even log into my bank account after deleting the game all issues stopped it’s a scam game to hack your phone

If you came looking for this game because the adds, your not in the right place. Not only is this the wrong game, but it’s like a budget fish game. It’s sound effects are horrendous, the gameplay isn’t what was promised, and to make matters worse, there’s a kill sound effect when you kill a “player” and it’s the announcer from league of legends. Albeit the announcer has very low quality, any league player can tell it’s the announcer. Not only is this game lazy, it’s also shameless and it should get copyrighted. Overall bad game and just isn’t what you would think it is, don’t play it or even install it.

I was like obsessed with this simple game for a few days, got pretty far in terms of progress, like leveling up and stuff. I got a bunch of different cool fish and stuff, I liked it. I open FishEaterio for like the tenth time today and this time it reset my progress SIGNIFICANTLY. Like to the point where I’m just going to delete it, I wasted so much time watching a ton of ads to get this progress and it’s over. I don’t even know how this happened either, I didn’t delete FishEaterio or anything weird. Anyway too many ads and overpriced stuff when they LIE about multiplayer, they’re all bots, there’s no real people.

If it did not have an ad every second, it could potentially nearly reach 3 maybe 4 stars. But no. There is an ad for every 20 seconds. It makes it annoying to progress in battles because it only processes you won after watching a 30 second ad, then it is 50/50 if you get rewarded. Super greedy company. They have a bundle for you to get no ads. What is it like 10 dollars? Only an idiot would buy that. The only good part about the game is the merging. It’s nice to check on the game every few hours but constant playing is not happening. The battle is really not fun either. Survive though is terrible. Only for the reason that things will spawn right in your face so you can’t do a thing. It’s not even like you can see it coming. It just appears out of nowhere in your face. I also beat the record and it never added it.

I understand the need for developers to use ads in order to generate capital but this is just ridiculous. I timed how long I was playing the game for, and how long I was stuck in ads that I couldn’t get out of for 30 minutes straight. It was almost 75% of the time that I was in an ad, it was only about 25% of the time that I could play the game.

I don’t mind paying a reasonable amount to remove ads and support developers but in order to remove the ads it’s subscription based.

The game itself is fun and I would happily pay $10 to maybe $15 to play it. unfortunately, the games are no longer for fun, but rather a vehicle to monetize for developers.

This could be an enjoyable game but the ads are ridiculously overwhelming. Everything requires an ad to proceed. I bought the ad free and there’s still a ton of ads. The wheel of fortune is broken and doesn’t ever reset, the ads to progress don’t always work, the game lags/glitches and you die, there’s no explanation for what things are/how you get them… the game is buggy and it seems the developers are more focused on putting in more ads than they are fixing the gameplay. And the gameplay is with bots, not other players. If this game was made to be what it pretends to be it’d be pretty good, but as of now it’s terrible.
