I give up trying to use this. My Desktop has now crashed because of this app. DO NOT USE‼️‼️‼️. It’s screwed up my webcam so I can’t use it now. Somehow it must have changed my settings. Have to have a repair guy come on Saturday. I’m livid. I was on a call with this app when I couldn’t get the video to work. The support said go to settings and click performance. Go to advanced and click “Pure Performance.” As soon as I did that my computer crashed. I rebooted snd was never able to get back in. I am now unable to use my webcam on my desktop, however it was working just fine before my this app meeting. The webcam works on my laptop but won’t work on the desktop. Having yo hits a Tech is expensive for me. I’m a 78 year old disabled widow. Too bad this app has NO SUPPORT to help me.
BTW, I also tried Butter on my iPhone 11. The video kept buffering and then came on only to totally freeze. I rebooted 3 times and the same thing kept happening.
So I was never able to get into my meeting either through the this app App or through the desktop.
I do not trust this app. It has altered my desktop which has caused my computer to crash and now Im incurring additional expenses because of it. Again I would not recommend using Butter for anything.
The application continued to freeze for me on its first use. While I was moved back and forth between breakout rooms, Butter was frozen other than playing the doorbell sound and displaying the message that I was moved or a room was about to close. I closed other apps, but it was to no avail. Before closing them though, I verified that - unlike this freezeware - they were just as responsive as always.
Better than Zoom! I use Butter daily and it works great. You must have a strong connection to your wifi or mobile network to have the best video experience possible, can sound glitchy as most video meetings do. I haven’t had any issues with the mobile and desktop apps to report either. It’s important to keep your devices updated so that any apps you install all work as intended, this app is very good about their updates. I will continue to use this app over Zoom!

The product is truly designed with L&D practitioners in mind, packed with incredibly helpful features (automatic recaps, transcripts, AI summaries, and the list is always growing) and learners find it much more interactive and useful for *actual learning* than Zoom, Teams or any other platform.
As someone who has seen this app’s growth from the very beginning and have spoken to most of the team and given feedback, I can verify that the company culture is just as amazing and the people behind the product are amazing.
Highly recommend this to anyone considering a Zoom alternative that actually helps people learn and change their lives!
It solves all my video conferencing needs, a real level up from other tools like Zoom and Google meet! They have killer support too - I requested some updates and they got back to me within 10 minutes
