Look I get it free games make their income from ad sales more than purchases but there are SO many ads and pop-ups I can only conclude it’s either to trick the target audience of elder women into accidentally spending money on in-game currency or energy or just ANNOY people into it. It’s so slimy and predatory and constantly takes me out of the game I want to play to relax. Not only ads to restore energy for free or get little prizes which is standard and expected but EVERY other time you successfully make an order you have to watch an ad for no reward so you are punished for doing well. Like trying to enjoy a podcast but 75% of it is ad reads.

Have to watch videos of ads over and over to get anywhere. I play a few other merge games and this one is by far the worst. At least give us the choice like the others do. Or allow us to pay to avoid them. I only stick around as I am still looking for a third merge game with fewer ads. I have tried and tried to play without being forced to watch them but even just going back to the main board will prompt one. Ugh.

The day after I paid for the no-ads, MergeCafe lost all my progress and there was no recovery option. I emailed them to ask for help. They said they were working on the update and that I needed to send them a screenshot of my progress and proof of purchase. Proof of purchase I can do, but am I supposed to be taking screenshots of my game all the time just in case it crashes and loses all my data?? Should’ve included that note with the download info…

So first up, the game stalls out at level 18 now.

The pop up ads are horrendous.

Whilst one would think all the *gifts* are grand, they are so piece-mealed prolific that one runs out of board and storage space trying to store them. I can't tell you how many times I've had to delete stuff just to work towards the order tasked.

Merging often pops up a duplicate item in a bubble. Sometimes you can unlock them with yet another ad 🧐 or your gems, but if you don't want or need that item, you can't delete it and takes up board space until the bubble pops. Yes, it gives you money when it pops but I would prefer no money and keep my open spaces for merging towards the order goal. I've literally had five bubbles waiting to pop! 🤨

I think i'm done with this game.

I’ve put several hundred dollars into this game, because I enjoy it, but just about every time I start to play, I’ve lost some of my progress. Usually it’s not that bad, but today, it took away whole awards I had one, probably a whole day of progress. I pay the money so I can play more and make more progress, and month after month, they turn around and take it away from me. Which amounts to stealing and they’re not fixing the problem. Not sure I can keep playing. It ruins play every time you open it and are missing progress. So what am I left with other than frustration and a whole in my wallet?

I enjoy the game. However I take issue with the fact that anything recent merge I’ve made for items that are level 6 or better go away and I have to redo them if I close out the game. An example is if I merge a level 8 record and exit out the game it will undo that match and any merge I’ve made after that one when I log back into the game. It does this with all of my recent merges. It’s frustrating and pushing back my progress because although it’s undoing my merges it’s not giving me back the energy it took to originally make the merges.

This game has the potential to be fun, but if there are going to be timed aspects to the orders, there shouldn’t be ads interrupting game play so often.

The board was also far too clogged once I got two sets of generators going to make any progress and I lost all sense of story coming ne t’es to the game. And, as others have said, having the game tell us what to merge immediately is too much - let us try to figure it out by delaying spoon feeding us! It’ll help make the game more enjoyable!

I enjoy this but cant save progress to play on my Iphone from my Ipad. I started playing this game on my Ipad and there is no save progress to FB, does not appear to be saving to gamecenter either. My Ipad is acting up. And I would hate to start completely over. The option to save is on my iphone but not on my Ipad. i emailed the team, hopefully they can solve this before my Ipad quits working.

I had the game reserved for download so i was super excited to try it. Overall it’s not terrible, it does need a lot of updates as everyone has mentioned in their reviews. Such as the ads, not being able to pick what you pay for, the game not letting you find the matches before alerting you etc. but i don’t hate it. I may also be a bit picky because i play several other merge games with excellent features. So for now, i’ll probably uninstall and come back when it has had some time to work on updates and features.

Game was running great until recently. I look forward to my tasks as they allow me to earn gems and other items for the game. However for the past two days my tasks will not reset. It’s like I’m stuck on the same “day” and nothing resets. My play is fine but the tasks will just not reset a d rather than 5 or ten gems for my first two energy refills it’s just stuck at 40 like I’ve been playing 24 hours straight on the same day. My tasks need to reset and I need to be able to refill again. It’s stuck at 40 gems to refill.

I do love playing this game but there are definitely problems and bugs that need to be fixed. Mainly the hints and I the progress doesn't save. The hints are annoying because I like having to look around the board to match stuff and sometimes I don't want merge certain items either. As for the memory I think that it's self explanatory it doesn't save your progress that's it. There are a few other smaller problems but overall I still enjoy playing the game.

So far, this game is a lot of fun. I’m ready to uninstall it, though, because the constant hints are making the game more annoying than fun. Give the player more than a second to look at the board for matching items!! Let us do things other than tap exactly where the hand tells us to, five levels in. I understand people may not know how to play merge games, but many of us do. At least add the option to turn all hints off, please!
Oh, and the incredibly intrusive “new item discovered” pop up could use resizing or the ability to be turned off, too, please.

I think I could like the game, but the constant ads and interruptions have made me ready to uninstall.
I don’t think that you should be forced to watch an ad every third time you serve a customer. I am happy to watch an ad when I’ve chosen a hint, or an object that requires it, or even once in a while between levels, but this is so constant.

I like this game overall, but if you do the bonus tasks, there’s a good chance you won’t get to keep the rewards. It still wipes out your energy though. You don’t get that back even though what you spent it on is gone. The only thing that seems to prevent it is to complete a main task before you exit. And don’t just close MergeCafe —go back to the diner screen first. It doesn’t always work, but it helps. I’m not a fan of the persistent ads, but I get why they’re there. I keep watching for an update to fix the bug, but it’s been like that for weeks.

Game is addictive but I do have issues. The cost to buy or change the furniture is way too high when the payout isn’t enough and also I can’t get past level 91 because of a present I need. How do I get the present? I hope the next update will fix that and that it’s soon. I want to continue playing. Right now, I’m finish until an update.

I would give MergeCafe a five star rating except for the bubbles that pop up and take up space when you are merging items. It’s annoying and hinders game play. I don’t want to spend the jewels to pop the bubbles because there is too many of them and they cost too much. Please limit the bubbles or get rid of them. Thank you

It’s fun but I think I’ve finally reached a level I can’t move past, so I think I’ll have to stop playing until a new update comes out. Says I need to open a certain present box in order to serve my last order and level up, but that present box is given after you serve all your orders and level up lol. Was fun while it lasted though!

Overall, this is my favorite of the many merge games I’ve downloaded. My only issue is that items that have reached their max level (can’t be merged anymore) cannot be sold/discarded! So I have some max level items that have been taking up room on the board for weeks now, which is annoying. Aside from that, this game is fun to play

Love the game, however it’s some items that I’ve collected and when I return to the game they’re GONE🥲 ……I’m currently in a position where I’ve been trying to close out a level but I’m missing 1 blue star item! Even after 3 days of game play, only bcuz I’d get half way or a little over half way to the item but I may have to stop and return throughout the day only to find my progress has back tracked!

I have three merge games and this is my all time favorite, but I’m stuck on level 91, waiting on the update to keep playing and I have a gold and red present I’m waiting to get back in the game.
