I had hopes for this project, however I think it’s worth highlighting the risks so that everyday folks don’t get wrecked by what appears to be a legitimate project based on their App Store reviews.

Before Giddy even went live the team launched a pump and dump token called this app, awarding their team members a fully vested double digit percentage of the token tool at launch. Several devs already some tokens before Giddy even launched, using retail investors as their exit liquidity. Most of the insiders who came in right at token launch have also offload the vast majority of their tokens.

Looking at Giddy Store reviews it’s clear to me that the vast majority of them are from token holders and insiders.

I’ve recommended this project to several folks during beta sign ups, but have since then asked time not to put any of their money in it. I highly suggest researching this project and its token before making your first deposit.

this app is a somewhat convoluted UX. First, I invested in a pool that promised 12% APY, but I never earned anything remotely close to that. This part isn’t Giddys fault, but I ended up losing a good chunk of my investment into the pool because one half of it was this app’s token, which is pretty volatile. Lastly, when I pulled my money out of the pool it converted back to this app Tokens rather than USDC. When I tried to swap them for USDC, it kept failing. My guess is there’s very little liquidity once you’ve got this app tokens. I tried 5 times to get my money out with no luck. Lame.

So I was invited early through email, so I downloaded Giddy , signed up and boom on a wait list.... my spot has actually grown further away, I guess I get discriminated for not having hundreds on people in my social network to download and move me up. Nice job on social outcasting... So I now see reviews about people actually using Giddy .... updates speak about improving this and that. Yet Im still stuck passed 10k spot in line. Did I miss something here, can I be that ignorant to an action I was supposed to take? Help me out here devs......

These guys here at this app is simplifying defy for the average person. It seems like everything’s a big old secret, but these guys are opening up doors for investor I’m sure it’s gonna get better as time goes on their mission and their vision is exceptional. I’m glad I got in early so I’m sure this door is not gonna be open for very long and correspondence is a breeze they get back to you within 24 hours thanks again I look forward to a long-term relationship

I have probably over 50-75 wallets and have left countless amounts of assets in various defi protocols. Also the occasional suspicious trick has happened on multiple blockchains, as well as gas fees from Ethereum layer 1. But it’s quite the opposite with this app wallet.

The new partial stable pools in this app app are my favorite. The Variable apy’s can be better than it seems. One day I made almost $30 with just over $400 in funds I believe, in the this app-USDC pool, when about 30-40% was the estimated rate. That won’t happen every day, you can certainly lose money too, but there are safe options for beginners such as just plain stable pools.

An underrated feature is the ability to swap for many coins, with quite the reduced fee if you use the this app coins/tokens. This is actually pretty huge. Also there are on and off ramps, if you need a more affordable “starting point” when venturing into the crypto world.

a maximum supply of 1 billion this app Coins won’t last forever. I recommend at least a small investment, if you’re comfortable with it. Or want to get into defi without some of the more extreme risks. I’ll give this app wallet five stars but I feel like 9.7/10 is more how I feel.

this app’s made staking easy and effortless. Streaming reward has been excellent and just overall very happy with what they’re doing. Their customer service is top tier getting back to you quickly and actually answer your questions. Justin has been a big help, thanks!

this app makes defi easy! Instead of creating a wallet and going through the different steps of a dex or knowing which pool is safe, this app takes the hard work out of the equation. Worth a shot if you’re remotely interested in learning about defi!

this app is doing exactly what is needed in defi. I’ve been in Giddy for a few weeks and through a bunch of updates. Each one makes the UI more simple and easy! Love using Giddy and love what I’m seeing. Can’t wait to see what they do next. (TheGiddyWrangler)

I downloaded this app back in December 2022. I wasn’t investing much in crypto at the time given the volatility, but I got Giddy set up with some funds in it. It was very intuitive, and it took the guesswork out of how to invest your money.

I looked at my account now (4 months later) and I had 200% returns in one of my pools. This happened in a time when crypto has been very volatile and not performing too well.

It was amazing to see something so trustworthy with positive returns amid all of the crypto uncertainty.

I was on a big waitlist is probably the only big negative. Other then that it really easy to use. I like the east format compared to others. Helps if you already have a Coinbase account for transfers and purchasing, my personal opinion.

Giddy gives you great crypto farms to invest in without the runaround that most web3 dapps come with. You can buy crypto right from Giddy or transfer it in from your external wallet and it’s just as easy to cash out. Idk if they cash out to fiat currency but withdrawals are super easy and inexpensive

The project has a great purpose that I understand first hand. DeFi is so difficult to navigate. this app greatly lowers the barrier to entry for DeFi and could see great growth from solving that problem

Using Giddy/Dapp for DeFi is even easier than what Coinbase did for buying crypto back in the day. Not only is it functional and aesthetically beautiful, it’s also very user friendly and intuitive; which is the opposite of what most people have experienced trying to use and be apart of DeFi. Opened an app and transferred money in both from an existing Coinbase account as well as a traditional bank account. Both processes were easy. Was able to swap assets into tokens Coinbase doesn’t list and instantly and easily earn money by staking them. Would recommend to anyone.

this app is by far the best wallet app in my honest opinion. I’ve been using multiple different apps and to find one that’s so straightforward and simple was a godsend. Not only will Giddy allow advanced user the ability to safely guard their tokens, it will also help users new to crypto get involved before the next big moon waves of the crypto world.

It’s not easy to simplify the complexities within the crypto world but this app has managed to do it.

I loved being able to choose my risk tolerance amongst the different investment pools and having Giddy handle all of the conversions and optimizations for me.

It feels like Giddy actually solves some of the biggest pain points of defi which I thought would take a couple more years to do.

I got lucky and was invited to the Beta. Really excited for the full version. Giddy is very easy to use. Everything works great and is extremely fast. I sent some USDC from CB and received it in a few seconds. The swap is also extremely fast. I love the overall design and can’t wait for more features to be added. Hands down going to be the best app for staking. Just wish I could buy some this app directly in Giddy . Update: can now buy via Coinbase Pay 👀

straight out the gates on day one I'd say looking like a smooth lil crypto earning app. Wasn't any trouble at all to fund my account, i opted to send usdc from another wallet. They got bank transfers and debit card options but thru a couple third-party apps i never heard off so i'll stick with crypto deposits for now. They got what seems to be an extra kick of free this app coins on top of what percentage you earn so we'll see what that turns into. i'll come back with an update in a few weeks. To be honest, I’m still trying to wrap my head around all the new terminology, advances and ways to buy, trade and use crypto as an investment. Loving Giddy and concept so far. Easy to use and developers are always innovating and on top of the future of crypto and crypto investing.
