It’s pretty disappointing that NightVision that cost actual money will only give you 3 minutes to use it before you HAVE to buy a subscription. It’s not optional. Once the 3 minutes are over it does not let you use night vision no matter what. I understand the developer wants to make money, but this is not the way to do it. I’ve gotten an even better night vision app that also cost 99 cents, except after you pay the first time it’s free to use. No ad after every click (unlike this which anything triggers an ad). Obviously I’m not gonna ask for a 99 cent refund, but this is ridiculous. This is not the kinda thing you want to pay monthly for. The only good thing from NightVision is that I gained the knowledge to do research on apps before I buy them. (Even though NightVision description does not mention you only get 3 “free” minutes).

They really want you to pay for NightVision, not the supposed free trial period forces you to sit through incredibly aggressive advertisements that almost force you to install other apps in your phone, it feels like malware. I would never pay money to anyone who does that.

Also, the software is not really thermal imaging.

30 second ad just to start NightVision , then clicking anything else makes you watch another ad and then tells yo that you have to wait to use the camera again, I only got to try it for 4 seconds!

This is my first negative review of any app, ever. I get it- they created a product with the intention of turning a profit and I stupidly said “Lemme try!!”, but as I was trying to get not only NightVision (but also my device which ceased performing) to simply function all I could think was “my god, what a bunch of RATS”. Lol, there’s a little 3 minute timer counting down (oh my gosh- lose that aspect you dummies) and it’s like an insanely intense game of “operation” just trying to exit these incredibly loud and long ads…but there’s no winning for you. I’ve never experienced anything like that with an app in my life. And I’ve got an 8 year old so I’ve seen some stinkers. Now recalling it it’s pretty darn hilarious that they even put this out there- and my stupid brain took the bait-hook, line and sinker (stinker). Kudos to you ya bunch of RATS! Lol

Downloaded and opened NightVision in full anticipation of using it and hit with costly premium features. Also got hit by a stupid ad. Screw this, removing this junk from my device! My advice? Save your money unless you enjoy wasting it!

Night vision didn’t work and when I tried to cancel my subscription it’s not even showing up in my phone now even tho it was still installed . Very disappointing.

The amount of ads to go through just to try NightVision is ridiculous. Then once you try to use it, like simply taking a picture, you can’t, you have to watch more ads. Give me a break.

Don’t waste your time downloading, any “free” attempt to use it is forced ads you can’t back out of for the 3 mins of free time “ they let you try it” then instantly spam ads again once you are out of the ads totally pointless.

NightVision could’ve done way better you have to pay to take a god dang photo you may ask why I called this dumb the photo yeah you can just take a screenshot it’s not as good but it works I prefer This other app called night eyes it works way better

I downloaded to try, used it for 1-2 minutes then didn’t use it again. After a couple of days I was being billed for a monthly subscription. I’ve never had this issue with another app and would question the legitimacy of this practice. I’ve submitted a refund request and a SCAM alert to Apple.

Use a different IR camera app.

Tried to test it out, every time I selected any option besides "Subscribe" (this should be a one time purchase app anyway.) it spammed an ad that put me back in the same place. Completely unusable. Might be good after subscribing, but there are plenty of better options that cost less than one months subscription here for lifetime use.

Aparrently you have to pay for a subscription to use NightVision. They only give 3 mins of use and even that, they manage to shove in ads as well. This is a money grab for an app that doesn’t work all that well either. There are no color modes whilst other apps have more flexibility and are cheaper too

These guys are just hoping you’ll agree to the trial and then forget to unsubscribe. Or you’ll just subscribe for just 1 month and then still forget to unsubscribe. It’s a unethically business model. It makes me wonder what data are you agreeing to share with them?

They know it’s not worth that, who needs this novelty app enough to justify a subscription? Heck you can get Disney+ for about that per month and they give you new content every week on top of their huge library.

This isn’t a thermal camera as others and worse they even took the filter out. It’s add intensive unless you pay for it and then I wonder if it’s worth it 20 a year. NightVision [ghost] is a full fledge sensor kit right now offers everything but the front I think camera for a one time charge of I think about 4$ maybe 10.

There’s others that access the LiDAR system and don’t make you pay a subscription to use a feature of your phone. You used a api and presented us with an image.

He just changes exposure, editing a color matrix is not true night vision. It’s just editing a color matrix. Don’t buy I can’t even get a refund and it’s useless to me. Other then that it’s decent just needs to change the name and make it free. Not worth anything really

It’s FLIR not night vision and it’s even bad at the FLIR imaging. Some night vision does utilize infrared but equating FLIR or NightVision more specifically, is akin to saying Beethovens 5th or Michael Jackson’s Beat it ( Eddie Van Halen did the guitar solo btw) is the same thing as flatulence and all are music because they both utilize sound waves. As FLIR and some actual night vision use light waves, doesn’t mean they are the same.

Night vision requires both sufficient spectral range and sufficient intensity range. Humans have poor night vision compared to many animals such as cats, in part because the human eye lacks a tapetum lucidum,[1] tissue behind the retina that reflects light back through the retina thus increasing the light available to the photoreceptor

This is more an IR cam than a night vision cam…and a terrible IR cam at that. I’m not sure what’s worse TBH though…the fact that the IR vision you do get is simple blobs of heat with zero resolution, or the fact that you have to pay $4 for 3 days of a useless app. I guess $20 for a year is kinda worth it, if what you’re looking for is to just hand out cash for nothing. If that’s the case, contact me and I’ll get you my Venmo. I’ll give you call once a month for a year and tell you what a smart person you are for not wasting your money on such a worthless app like the Night Vision on the Apple App Store.

Don’t Download or RENT NightVision. It’s just not worth anything.

NightVision developer apparently thinks this is the best way to sell an app. You can’t even see it work to decide if it’s something you want without committing to a payment plan. When you refuse it an ad pops up and you’ll say, ok it’s ad supported and I’ll get to test it out. Wait for the end of the ad and no app to use. In fact it loops the ad until finally it stops on the game it’s advertising. Touch the screen and you are in the AppStore to buy not the night vision app but the game.

Total waste of time. I’ll just ignore anything this developer has in the future. I don’t have time for promises of an app with no way to even see it function.

An app that lets you stare at yourself in the color green. Nothing else unless you pay their. Monthly fee then you can stare at yourself in other colors. Also an ad every time you touch your phone when NightVision is open

Just be honest with your customers. This is not in any way shape or form transforming your iPhone into a thermal or night vision camera. Those are filters. The phones with LiDAR in their back cameras, now that’s a different story. That measures distance and I’m sure is a useful tool for those who understand how to use it

Worthless image is a joke can’t make out anything and can’t adjust settings. Colors erratic and jumbled. Definitely not “night vision”.

I wish NightVision would shoot landscape when using the back LiDAR.

This is neither infrared nor thermal vision, as a US Navy pilot, I’d know, I’ve used both. Pretty cool tho!

It’s great but dont do the subscription thing

Please let us use the back camera with about three at liDAR i will rate it ten out of ten

I really like NightVision, but every single time I open it it asks me for a five star review, which is just annoying at this point, so I’m giving it four stars. I guess I’d give it a solid for anyway.

It helped me where i was going and i couldent see in the dark NightVision is very useful ik it 3 minutes but it worth it tho:)

All the one star ratings you see are people who don’t have a clue what NightVision is actually doing. NightVision uses the LiDAR on compatible iPads and iPhones, the closest objects are red and the furthest are blue. You can’t get thermal imaging from a 3d scanner. I went into a pitch black room and I could actually make out objects and navigate my way. Love NightVision !

It’s a very great app overall it’s just kind of laggy when u try to move the camera.

Nice app but where are the videos saved

This is a great app and I would highly recommend it to anyone out there! very user-friendly and very good quality. I enjoy using it every time.

And even if I am mistaking and it does work, there are absolutely no instructions available, only a black screen that keeps showing a popup for a review, and of course a subscription offer

It doesn’t really show girls but if you like find one, it will show up app on my phone I never found it:D.
