Game is terrible, rigged so that you never win

I’ve been playing all the astonishing sports games for a few years now and this one is by far the least fun. Still a great game, simulation, football, free a bench, etc, however it’s impossible to win. I’ve started 5-6 seasons 11-0 only to finish 11-6 and miss the playoffs. If I ever do make it I’m immediately knocked out. Considering I have the highest rating offense and defense out of every team, and rank first in every stat aspect except running, it’s truly disappointing that the game is so set on making you lose. Also the salary cap is annoying, and unrealistic. As well as the short rookie contracts and the 95+ overall safety and cornerback that’s in every draft.

Game

The play selection is janky (and you can't delete plays from your playbook or see any details about them other than their success rate), the game flow isn't real (no halftime and kickoffs, punts kinda default start you at a certain distance even if the opposing team punted from midfield which should result in a longer field, not a shorter punt), the play selection and details information is obfuscated and contradictory (why do some passing plays have negative passing bonuses, why do defensive play descriptions not match the penalties they apply, why are medium and long passes used interchangeably, what is the yardage range and success rate of each play?), and the rosters kinda lock each game into starters playing 100% of snaps (which doesn't let role players shine or really make much sense). Feels like the game lacks a lot of polish (for one, adding custom image URLs don't even get centered on the spot so logos are cut off and player headshots are off-center) but it also lacks the base level functionality of a game of football that actually makes sense.
This is the least cared game along with the soccer one.

Hate the developer

I owned this game. I was going to write a review until I saw the developer respond. He said he didn’t agree with anything that someone said. Same in all of his other games. He’s stuck up, and arrogant. He’s a jerk that is insanely unprofessional and shouldn’t be able to make anymore games with how he acts. If you want to make a game and have people like it then don’t go telling them you don’t agree with anything. He says so many countless things that make me wanna vomit when I read his responses. What lack of respect. How dare he act like this. I wish I could give him negative stars and put his game down in the grave with him.

A rough approximation of football

???

Game is a little confusing. The “tutorial” is quick, even during the part where he says “There’s a lot going on here!” But doesn’t proceed to really give an explanation to it. The draft is mid-season and you can’t even go back to see which players you need while in the draft—I am forgetful. Also why are my rookies OVR a question mark? Developing players has to be the easiest thing to do if you have money to blow. I’ve probably spent $40 and yet I feel like I progressed no where. Lately, and worst of all is resigning players. I’m unable to differentiate between who’s still signed and who isn’t until it’s too late. It says 1 year 1.0M but then suddenly they’re not on my team anymore? Really cool. Also when I spend $1 for a Super Star 99 OVR and trade them and I get offered a 81 OVR player on a 1 year and they won’t budge at all. 🥲

Mostly fun… a little annoying.

The game mechanics are pretty good. Better than most. I like that you don’t have to pay to change names. I love the way you develop the stadium. I have used quite a few breaks at work playing this game. I would like to see 2 major things out of a GM game: 1)Counter offers from free agents, not just accept or reject. 2) Please fix the English, take out references to baseball (this is a football game), and fix the messages to include a players name (ie- Developers would like to use … for the face of their video game) Fix this and I change to a 5 star.

Solid Game

The game overall is good has a great concept and works very well but the main problem that made me stop playing is that you only have 50 million salary cap so it makes it unrealistic and hard to make a good team and keep it good for more than like 2 or 3 seasons. I would also like for the rookies to have all four year contracts to start out with because in the game you have the rookies for like a season and then they leave because most of the time you spent your money on other players. Another problem I have with the game is that signing a free agent takes like 1/5 of your entire salary cap so your team can’t get better. The final problem I have with the game is that defense’s are way to bad like most players on defense are like a 55-70 making the games way to high scoring.

Overall a solid game to play for like 3 of 4 seasons until these problems start taking affect but overall a solid game.

Great concept, Bad UI and Functionality

Great release and will hopefully be patched in future updates. Game is also deep and offers plenty of content to ease into. However, this can feeling both overwhelming and excessive as spending resources takes time to garner. The biggest flaw is the game itself. When you punt from the fifty, the other team starts at their 45 majority of the time. Needs serious work on this end, but holds up

Still early

There is a bit of a learning curve, and so much I don’t know, but this has the potential to be a long term fun game to me. It doesn’t get you started by holding your hand and I think that adds to the intrigue for me. I prefer a football game that doesn’t add graphics for no reason. It doesn’t take up a bunch of power or storage. It’s easy to take a break from calling plays when real life gets in the way. FTP friendly and has an additional game mode i haven’t even explored yet. I’ll give a 5 after a few seasons if there isn’t some game breaking bug or exploit I find. The developer also active on discord. Thank you

Salary cap

This game is really good, but its limited by the fact that you cannot turn off salary cap, and the salary cap gives you barely any room for good players sticking you into a “hope your rookies on 0 mil contract can win you it” its almost impossible, but if yall do add a feature that you can remove salary cap, i have some ideas to limit the player, make a cap on how many players above 90 ovr can you have (set this at 15-20 as rookies can come in at 90+) or you can just let it be and let the player make the best squad ever and terrorize opponents

A Great Football Management Game!

This game is super fun and addicting! You can play it anytime, anywhere. I would definitely recommend it. I do, however, have a few pointers… I guess? I’m not exactly qualified in game developing, but this is what I got:
1) It would be cool if along with the other stats in the game after you finish a game, you could also see total turnovers
2) The game quick sim system needs to be tweaked. I shouldn’t lose by 20 to a team that has a 20 overall worse defense and a 10 overall worse defense.
3) Good DTs and DEs are virtually nonexistent. The best one in the league I’m playing is like a 75. Most teams have less than 60 overall DTs and DEs.
4) There needs to be more kicker/punter options in the draft. They shouldn’t all be gone after the second round. Other than that, this game is awesome! I look forward to seeing it get better and better! :)

Edit: a quick add
5) Sometimes during the draft after I draft a player, the player is still on the draft board, and I can draft him again and get both, and start both on my team. However, when the season ends, both copies of the player automatically leave my team and go into the free agent board.

Good game

I really enjoyed the game, some things I think would be better in the QB franchise mode is 1. Be other positions as well. 2. It takes awhile to upgrade I’m 14 years in and only a 74 overall, so maybe a way to hurry that up in a realistic way so it doesn’t take a whole career to be good. 3. A stats screen that compiles your stats from your career so you can see your career Totals. That’s really all I can think of for now keep up the good work

This is a solid game

I love this game since the 21 game. I love that y’all added the quarterback mode. I hope that y’all include other positions because I love playing linebacker. The only thing is after my rookie season I get dropped to third or fourth string after. Even after I led the team to the championship. I hope y’all can fix that. But other than that this game is fun.

Glitch?

I have played ten years in a league and a quarterback from an Atlanta team has won player of the month all ten years and they have all been different quarterbacks. Also they are low overall and don’t have the best stats even though they win player of the month.

Best football manager game I’ve played yet

So I’ve never did a review on a game before but this game is so good and I can’t wait to grow with it so I thought I’d offer some feedback what I will say it’s overall the game is awesome for a simulation I love that’s there’s a draft free agency and the overall feel/layout for the game in comparisons to the competition as for now what I will offer is maybe just like the trades make the free agency more competitive so probably make the cpu use there cap space because a lot of them have 50+ mil team building could be worked seems like it doesn’t matter what your strength is medium pass is the best also kinda no difference between elite and legendary players

It’s a good game

The only complaint I have with this game is how tedious the ui can be. I wish there was easier ways to do stuff it feels like you’re always constantly clicking in a slightly annoying way especially if you’re simming games. You guys should also add a thing that sends you. A message for stuff like when you’re done building stuff in your stadium. Also a astonishing f1 would be a cool one as well. Same with a golf one. Regardless if you’re reading this gamer play these games they are still really good.

This is my favorite game so far

This is my favorite game so far it's really addicting and helps pass time. My only complaint about this game is the simulation and the My player mode. The simulation can take a little too long but nothing I would stop playing for. The my player mode can be confusing sometimes because my qb has pretty good ratings but it takes too long to upgrade my player in my opinion. But still a great game overall.

Great but I have a few recommendations

I love this game I played it for hours in fact I got it yesterday and have already won 2 championships. But when I tried my qb franchise I feel it’s to hard to earn the starting roll at Qb. With my Qb I had gotten to an 84 overall and they still had a rookie starting over me. Id love it if you found a way to make it to where overall and exp had a big roll in starting thank you! :)

New suggestion for the next update

My franchise player is great but I want it to be were you can pick what position you want to play offense and defense and and have a mode we’re u have a infinite amount of money please say that you add these things to the next update it will make the game so much better than it is now

Outstanding

The most intricate football manager game I have played. Very good foundation to grow into one of those top mobile games platform wide. With some funding, this could become the best sports game on app stores. All it needs is slight bug fixes and UI overhaul and would be perfect.
