WOW! This actually is a challenging and fun game but you can’t get anywhere without watching an enormous amount of ads. When you finish a puzzle, you do get some coins but not nearly enough to do anything with so you watch an ad for more. You have to watch a lot of ads to get enough to make any real progress AND there are ads before and after each round that give you no rewards at all. That’s a waste of time but also murders your battery! I played for two days and am now deleting the game. BEWARE!

I just never play this anymore. I came back to the game this morning. My morning mission is to play seven games. Sadly, the game only allows me to play five games! This is a fatal flaw in an otherwise great game. I do not recommend. The aggravation is just not worth it.
And now there is an add covering the “no thanks” button, meaning I played one level and now I’m completely stuck.

Great game totally ruined by the level limits and add pop-ups. (Would love to attach a screenshot to this review.)

It feels like every other minute the game is asking you to watch an ad. Most of these are optional but are going to slow your progression. This is fine. However, there’s also an astounding amount of mandatory ads that it makes you watch. It sometimes makes you watch an ad to go back to the home page!

It's a fun game. However the purchase for no ads is expensive and deceptive. Instead of an add after every puzzle, you still get a "no energy left" message. You can only play more puzzles be waiting 5 - 15 minutes, using tokens or watching ads. Definitely not what I paid for.

The game itself is great, would give it 5 stars, but when there is an ad before every level, and then I have to watch a full length ad to keep playing, because I ran out of energy, it’s like you’re telling me you don’t want me to keep playing. With that many ads, one before each level, I would think that should be sufficient income. I don’t mind the level ads, but when you say I can’t play without watching another one, I say OK. I won’t play then. Deleting the game until you remove the energy requirement.

I really love this game. What I can’t stand is the constant glitches and freezing up. I can’t get through a single game without having to turn Lunacross off to reset it. It’s so annoying I can’t enjoy the game. I’m playing on a brand new iPad. I’ve even deleted Lunacross and reinstalled it. Very disappointing.

Over time, seemingly not dependent on the small number of puzzles played, but if played slowly while doing other stuff IRL, it’ll make the whole iPad unresponsive. You won’t be able to move letter tiles at first, then won’t even be able to use Lunacross switcher to force close the game in under 2-3 minutes.

I like the game but often I finish a puzzle and select play new puzzle and the same one shows up or I get one I did 3 puzzles ago and have to work through them again. I don’t see any other complaints like this so
am I doing something wrong?

This is a fun game that keeps you sharp. My only complaint is the number of ads. Every time you want to navigate to a new thing there is a ad. You complete a game and another add. It make this tedious. I get it that ads keep it free, but sometimes there is too much. Fix that and it would be a five star game.

I would’ve given this game five stars but it seems they’ve forgotten about their own game. I finished the 30 collections nearly four months ago, and since they haven’t added anything new. Come on now!!

I want to like this game. I think it’s a cool twist on the crossword style of games. However, there is a frequently recurring issue where I have to play previous puzzles that I’ve already solved. They just randomly show up again, like 1-3 of them. I do not enjoy replaying levels. I was just dealing with it, but after beating level 60 level 61 is the exact same puzzle. It’s a repeat. And these repeats still cost energy to play. I don’t know if I want to keep playing until this mechanic is fixed. I hope it’s a bug and not intentional. That would be really scummy. Please fix this issue.

Somewhere around level 850, the puzzles started repeating. Not much fun any more. I received a reply from the developers that they are aware of the problem. That gives them another star!

In level 169, you give the hint “Wounded ____, 1890 BATTLE in South Dakota,” which might be true in most history textbooks, but it is actually more accurate and respectful to call it what it really was: a MASSACRE of indigenous people. I’m really enjoying this game otherwise, and I recognize I might be called “too sensitive” for saying this, but I think it is extremely important to address history in a way that doesn’t paint too rosy an image of what actually happened and faithfully acknowledges some of the horrors in our past so that we can grow and become better from it.

I am enjoying this word game related to CodyCross quite a bit. But I have one issue with the “Mission page”. It comes up inconsistently, only flashes briefly - too brief to read it all, and then disappears only when it decides to show up again.
You need a button to access it and leave it up til I dismiss it. Thanks for listening.

I just got to level 671 and no puzzle comes up. And it won’t let me go back to the Home Screen. Love the game but I can’t play anymore. :(

With some of the larger puzzles some of the answer squares are under the settings icon and other icons. It would be good to see the entire puzzle.

I look for games that will keep my mind alert since I’m getting older. Even though I cheat sometimes with the ones I know I won’t know. It makes my mind work.

CodyCross is my all time favorite game, play it every single day. This is a nice addition to my daily favorites. Keep up the great work Fanatee! For some reason this app just destroys my battery though. Have to play it plugged in. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I started playing CodyCross a few years back but quit the game because it became boring. This version tailors to age and is much more challenging.

I really enjoy this game. The puzzles are very challenging starting with puzzle number 1. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to improve their mental skills.
