Love Fantasy: Match & Stories Reviews

So yeah, a makeover match 3 game. You’ve played them before and probably better ones than this. It got to be a boring grind about halfway through the 2nd makeover character (stay at home mom). This was because the level hardness went from nonexistent to extreme very quickly, with all levels requiring multiple power ups to complete. In addition the tasks required more than one level to get enough gold to complete.

So a game should have balance, hard enough to keep you watching ads/buying occasional power ups but not so hard you can’t progress and lose interest. This game is in the later group for me. As a plus, there are no wrong choices for tasks. Unlike the way it’s advertised, no matter what you pick your character will say ‘my skin feels great’ or ‘this dress looks so pretty’ and you will get the desired story result. Some people didn’t care for having to buy certain outfits so early in the game, but you buy those with gems and it’s easier to get gems than coins in this game.

So if you want a repetitive match 3 game with a lot of ads (not a knock- all games have a ton of ads) where your choices have no impact and you can’t progress past the 2nd character due to gameplay balance, well this is for you. I personally didn’t care for it.

At first this game is so much fun, very addicting, and so cute. It’s $300 coins for each new stage/story. $300 coins for a hairstyle $300 for full makeup, $300-$500 for outfit, $300-$500 for shoes $300-$500 for jewelry (bracelet, necklace, earrings) $300-$500 for a purse. Then all of a sudden pricing goes up, but you get less and less.. $400 coins to take off your outfit or $400 to wash off makeup every little thing is a $400-$600 coin charge and you get $300 coins from each game you complete,but the price of a whole outfit is $3,000+. $400 coins for face mask $400 coins now for eyeshadow, $600 for blush, $600 lipstick, $600 each necklace, bracelet, earrings, or purse It’s getting ridiculous. “Dinner date” second stage/story and its a $400-$600 for the view..another $400-$600 for type of plates or roses and then the story ends very quickly the conversation is just a few sentences so it’s not worth it. I thought let’s try paying and see how far that takes me.. I paid $7.99 for $10,000 coins that barely did anything at all spent most of it taking off outfit from before stage preparing for next outfit washing hair, taking off makeup, washing face, applying a face mask and now to apply foundation? Wth??.. I’m done! That was 10,000 coins.. gone.

This game is my new favorite game, however some of the levels are nearly impossible to beat! One level wants you to collect 40 of three different colors and only gives you 18 moves!! How am I supposed to do that in only 18 moves?!! The game designers should allow levels like that to have more moves so players could at least have more of a chance to beat them. I’m still giving the game 5 stars because it’s really fun and challenging. Also, I understand having to break a chain to be able to collect a color, but you can’t collect a color without popping the bubbles first?! Come on!!! Other match-3 games count matching colors in bubbles as a match, so I don’t understand why this one doesn’t. Oh, well! It’s still a fun game anyway!

This really is the best match 3 game there is, I’m over level 500 and still haven’t felt pressured to spend money. I love that if I REALLY need something(which honestly is rare) I can just watch a short ad to get it!

If your sick of match 3 games being super fun and playable all the way till like level 100ish and then all of a sudden each level becomes impossible to beat without buying more moves or bombs or something then this is the game for you! I’m over level 500 and still haven’t hit a pay wall it’s fantastic!

I do have a two complaints though about the story.

1. Randomly after a certain point on certain stories it doesn’t let you pick the hairstyle anymore? It just says “curl hair” and the does it for you? BOOO! I want to always pick the hairstyle!

2. And this is my biggest complaint. I feel SUPER ripped off by Janes story. I’m so disappointed. I didn’t even get to see her actually break up with Wiley? And we only got like one second of her reunion with Alex?? That’s so lame! I want more! I was so invested!

I also feel ripped off because the second Jane got engaged I was expecting a wedding dress up, I can’t even tell you how much I was looking forward to that and then it just never happens? Not even with Alex?

Boo! PLEASE update the story and give Jane a wedding! I want a wedding dress up!

In the beginning I loved the game because the items weren’t too expensive to get you through the story but then as you progress to the higher levels it charges more for dumb stuff like 400 to take down hair 300 to wash face and so on. Then the higher levels only give you 18 moves to get rid of 40 pink 40 blue and there is a bunch of boxes in the way. Or another level was like 30 chains 40 boxes and a color like how in 18 moves. They don’t force you to watch ads but in a way they do because you can’t beat the level without watching it. Also in any other match 3 game if you match and get a bomb and move the bomb and match 5 to get a color wheel that’s how it is this game you loose the match all together because it just explodes. Lastly in the bubbles in other games if you match 2 next to a bubble with the same color it counts as a match nope not in this game you have to match next to the bubble pop it then you can use this color. This game could be really good if they just took more time in designing the game.

I live this game, live the fact that you can play the puzzles and get more turns. I just do not like the fact that to wash the face is 400 coins or to put your hair down same amount. They should use those for something more interesting or for some other random accessories instead of doing basic things everyone does anyway. I love how we can play for a while by watching adds or whatever. The. Eventually after a long while I run out of lives and I get back to my normal life. I just hope the change those parts the washing your face, putting down your hair parts. I wish we could also win more coins in the games we play and also incorporating more outfits would be great as well.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but LoveFantasy is the exception. It is amazing! The gameplay is fun and this is the first app I’ve literally EVER come across that doesn’t frustrate you into needing to spend money. The gems earned in levels easily accumulate to cover the costs of life refills if needed, and power ups are earnable through watching ads instead of paying money. They even offer extra moves at the end of levels if you watch an ad, without overwhelming you with ads like most other free games. I really really enjoy LoveFantasy and highly recommend it over other games of the same type!! Thank you for a fun and well functioning mobile game!!

This game is a horrendous knockoff of Project Makeover that I can’t believe exists. The target audience is obviously young girls (content age is 9+) and it’s conveying horrible messages. Messages about how all they should care about is the male gaze. All of these are about “ shaving legs” and “putting on lipstick” to impress some guy you met at a bar that calls you sexy. If girls want to modify their appearances, that absolutely ok and wonderful, but they shouldn’t be taught to do it to impress men. It belittles women and makes it look like all they care about is impressing men and trying to get a boyfriend. While society already engrains this into girl’s brains, we don’t need mobile games doing it too. I’m Girls are downloading this game, playing to make their characters impress men, and having sexist and heteronormative ideologies subconsciously told to them. There are no female love interests. The entire game is about modifying the characters appearance for the man she likes. THESE MESSAGES ARE TOXIC. Fix it. Now.

I love LoveFantasy it is fun and I get to play levels I’ve never had the best experience in my life I think LoveFantasy is probably the most amazing is that I’ve ever played and I say I almost blessed my iPad with games and I said this is the best game I’ve ever had I wish you can make a game where you just had to you could actually type in the word and this is really cool how you can play and get them new things like how you can pick any hairstyle you want like I don’t know but I just feel like this game is amazing.

Literally what. It’s sexist, uncomfortable, and honestly a disgrace to the AppStore. The gameplay is smooth (hence the extra star) but the game itself teaches people to mistrust others and feel the need to be overprotective to “keep a man around” and stop him from being stolen by other females. You should NOT allow your child to download this game. I was enjoying the game until I noticed the underlying message with the makeup, the adds, the cheating, the *slam the door in his face* option, and importantly the comments on bodies and sexualizing women. Also, why is every character straight? I have yet to see an LGBTQ+ character or someone of color or different race. This doesn’t sit right with me. That and the fact that no matter what you do, you always are in a relationship with someone who is overprotective.

Ok I mean it’s a good game and all BUT every time you need coins you have to do a stupid matching thing AND ITS DISGUSTING !!! downloaded this because it’s like project makeover and project makeover is wholesome. But this game… is SO BAD .when you start the game you see a woman and man half naked flirting with eachother! I’m only tEN I only downloaded this bc it said 9+ so I thought it would be cool but NO! And I was saying to myself while playing this “this girl would look pretty without makeup but I HAD to put makeup according to the game. And there is this guy named Alex and he called the girl hot and innocent! Like wth! I know some people don’t have a problem with this but yea. Btw sprry of this was long- also the creator please can you please put like 13+ or 17+ bc this is a bit inappropriate or change the story line.

Overview I really do love this game, at first I thought it was actually pretty different, and actually fun. But now, it’s frustrating. At first when I didn’t have enough turns, it will always let me watch one video. Now after I finish one video, I exit it ( like everyone does), but then it says I never watched an ad, and I have to watch another one. But that’s not the only problem, when you get on the higher levels, it never gives you enough money to buy you anything, so you constantly have to keep playing over and over again. But like I said before, this is a fun game. But there are some things wrong with LoveFantasy that needs to be fixed.

Ok, I don’t normally write reviews, but I just have to say that I really like that with this game you don’t have to spend money to get power-ups or gems. This game is very generous with the gems and coins and power-ups. If you need more you don’t have spend coins to get them, all you do is watch an ad. My only complaint is that my game often freezes or closes after I watch a couple ads so I have to close it and start all over. I don’t know if it is the game or the ad’s causing it or if it’s just my device. But overall I like the story and the game.

I played this game to have fun, which I have had fun, but I sometimes get frustrated with spending because sometimes I’ll finish a task, but have to play yet another game to get more coins. Also, some levels are way too hard which with me, ends up watching quite a few ads to get boosters and beat the levels. I believe that one cause of this is too few moves. This is a great game but if you’re looking into downloading LoveFantasy, and you want a game to enjoy without having a little stress, honestly in my mind, this isn’t the game you should download. I’m sorry if anybody else has a different perspective on this, this is just my opinion. :)

I found an ad for this on TikTok and decided to download it for. I played it for a few days then I stopped opening LoveFantasy for a week. I have a bad habit of letting my notifications pile up and not deleting them. One day I was going through all the notifications and I noticed the ones from LoveFantasy . The notifications would say “_____ sent you a message”. The names were all names of people from my contacts. I had my friends and brothers names in the notifications and their names aren’t common English names. They were Arab/Muslim names. I just found this odd and was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing. I also don’t recall getting apps access to contacts or anything like that

This game is a good game I can’t give 5⭐️’s because each time the King’s Choice advertisement comes on I can exit out of it like most apps which means I have to close out the entire game I lose my the rewards I just won for the level I just played which is annoying I exit out come back my reward amount is still the same when it clearly should be +300 after finishing a level instead it’s at the same amount it was before I beat the last level am I able to move on to the next level 🤔 yes but I didn’t reap the benefits please fix this problem.

My biggest issue is I got to a certain level and then the same game pieces just kept falling and exploding over and over, freezing the game. I tried exiting out but it keeps happening. It also takes way too many in game coins to progress the game but the rewards at the end of the levels stays the same. I was enjoying it till this because I like bejeweled type games. But between the game freezing in the same loop over and over to where I couldn’t even try to move any pieces and having to play 2-3 levels for each task… yeah, I’m deleting it and not coming back. I’d give it zero stars if I could for the loop freeze but I have to give at least one to post a review. So enjoy the one star you didn’t even earn.

WHAT IS THIS GAME TEACHING WOMEN AND CHILDREN? Whoever plays this game or any other game like this is just blindly falling into the manipulative clutches that the creators have. Any adult who enjoys this game is genuinely sad and pathetic and the creators of this game, well- all of you are simply revolting and probably lack all empathy. I’m right aren’t I, you guys are psychopathic immoral freaks aren’t you?
But seriously. This game, like several out there, should not be played. It’s so wrong in so many ways. To anyone who doesn’t understand how it’s wrong.. maybe take some time to mature and not be a sheep because if you’re a mom, you don’t want your daughter playing this and if you’re a kid then stop screwing up your brain. There are literally hundreds of better games than this one. Pick one.

I download a lot of mobile games from ads to see if they’re what they advertise + out of boredom, but this one is actually very similar to what it shows! It’s a match three that allows you to generate funds to makeover different characters, but they give you AMPLE opportunity to not be one move away from failing the levels with an ads for moves system, which is a huge differentiator and plus for me as it’s one of the most frustrating parts of match 3s.

Ok first of all I absolutely love this game there is just 1 teeny tiny little problem.

Every time you run out of coins you have do this puzzle thing and there is always a problem you have to choose between like start over or watch an add and I choose add right.

So I choose it and there is only one option watch an add again so I keep doing it over and over and over so it’s not like I’m saying I hate I tired off that same old thing and if you like it it’s alright but I just like how it keeps doing all the time but I love this game!!!!!♥️♥️♥️💕

When I started playing I really loved it! Your helping the characters get all and dressed but, But everything cost so many coins as you move up in levels. When you get to level 10 for the matching game you have to get “100” of each of the 3 items (skirt, bag, and shoe). Like really? That’s a bit excessive especially since the power ups are 900 gems and up and you don’t even get that many when completing challenges. This makes it dang near impossible to beat for me. I downloaded yesterday and I will be undownloading today because I’m not spending my real money on this game🤣. That’s a joke.
