Sleep Sounds - Relax & Sleep Reviews

I listen to a lot of ASMR and I needed to get out of the cycle of trying to watch a video before bed. SleepSounds is a great base to make your own sleep sounds and help you wind down before bed. Each sound provided is adjustable and you can layer them together. I have a default of Ocean waves with some campfire and distant thunder. I always pop this on and it helps drown out the noise of my inner thoughts and gets me to sleep calmly and quickly!

I love SleepSounds it helps me fall asleep quicker than usual. You can make your own sounds there’s also a timer and you can turn your phone off while there’s a sound on there. SO many great sounds like rain,creek,fire,ocean and MANY more. You can also add sound to your sound like say you have a creek you can add rain to that it’s great! Best sleep sound app EVER! Good for anxiety and nostalgic sounds like maybe for some, your grandparents house who has all the wind chimes, hearing little waterfalls. Or even hearing the sounds of different rain drops maybe while playing some jazz. The customization is my favorite feature of SleepSounds, you can have all your favorite sounds playing at once + volume control of each sound. Love it!

Many options and combinations. Volume control on each sound so when using several, you can choose a more dominant one. I particularly like the sound of a cat purring since losing my own
A decent app that I use almost every night. I can set the length of time I want it to play, which is nice. Most often I do no hear it end or stop, as I have fallen asleep.

SleepSounds is so nice to use on road trips, plane trips and train trips. And it’s offline and you can turn off your device that you have SleepSounds on its a lot easier than other apps I have used the costume option is so nice I love to use rain on a roof , with piano and bird one set a time of 2:00 hours to 1:30 hours

My husband and I had difficulty falling asleep and we usually run our table fan but it’s been too cold, so we searched for a free sleep sounds app and found this one (after trying a few others). We are so happy with Sleep Sounds!!! Thank you for making this available at no charge. It’s a blessing.

SleepSounds has many different options, with phenomenal sound effects… incredibly useful timer lets you go to sleep and not worry your battery is gonna be dead when you wake up! I will listen to this all day, just to keep my mind at ease while I’m working!!!

SleepSounds charged me $20 without notifying me for just downloading. I was trying to figure out which app it was until I saw the charge was the same day I downloaded SleepSounds. I can get the same sounds on you tube for free.

I used to have an app that I loved on my Samsung, and it was great because you could mix these soothing sounds with foreign music and it always helped. This is the second best, and I can even connect it with my apple mini speaker. If you add the mix with other songs in it would be great and I will change my review.

This is a great app, but could you change the sound backgrounds to the gradient style like the original creator has it? And could you increase the touch area of the go back button bc it doesn’t register sometimes.

Anything with soothing sounds will help me sleep when the time is right. Been using SleepSounds for years. SleepSounds is honestly gooood especially, when I’m able to choose what sounds can go with what. Oh, so good! :) 10/10 in love truthfully<3

It’s a great app because unlike the other sleep apps you can control the volume of the spectate sounds, and the majority of the sounds of free and you’re not getting constantly bombarded with ads like the other apps

Me and my friend got this for sleep overs because our siblings would talk for hours! Turned out it worked for everything even study so having sleep trouble can’t focus? Get this game it will solve everything

I LOVE SleepSounds! I just got SleepSounds like 4 months ago and I am obsessed with it. My entire life actually I have had trouble falling asleep but with SleepSounds I feel like l can go to sleep calmly. Totally recommend it!! It has so many sounds that you can match together!

I use the free version. Is all I need. I just watch some of the adds to be as to unlock more sounds.
I like the fact that you can combine sounds! and use a timer.
I would have given it 5 stars if it was 100% free lol but I understand the developers have to make $.

It has a lot of features that you don’t have to pay for and the sounds really do make you fall asleep in no time and I like how you can set a timer for how long the sounds go on for! Perfect app😁!

When you first open SleepSounds you do not have to sign in the sounds just pop up. The songs that are provided are free. You can shut your phone off and the sound still plays.

I am in love with this sleep app. FREE and worth hundreds- I’m finally able to drift off to sleep without my mind going in a million different directions. I just listened to the rain the forest or the ocean and melt away💕💕

It helps me sleep so much I love that you can make your out custom sound you can make it Better to sleep and it has so much choices to pick from and I just love it SleepSounds helped me go to bed so quickly

I can finally go to sleep it sounds so call me when songs that kind of late get some just a little bit uncomfortable is the trip but do I handle it yes I do I would recommend getting this

There’s a few sounds you have to pay for or watch ads to unlock but the already available ones are my main used ones and there’s so many more free than ad locked/paid I watched a few ads to unlock sounds just because I don’t have the money to support them financially at the moment lol
If this was a paid app it would be well worth it so for free it’s beyond amazing 😁😁

I don’t normally rate apps unless they are great btw I am not going to make this a long review so I am going to get straight to the point this is a great app and it helped me fall asleep within 7 minutes it is a great app and if you have children and they can’t fall asleep use SleepSounds all I really have to say is this is the best app I have on my phone

I absolutely love how you can layer different sounds on SleepSounds to make it sound perfect for your personal needs! I have 2 young babies and when I moved them to their cribs I really missed the sound machine that went away with them lol this has definitely filled the void! Thank you!!!!!

When I’m wound up like a top from a stressful day at work I will listen to this and literally erase my mind of all the junk running through it. It’s like it filters out the stressful and anxious thoughts about the day and next day. It allows me to fall asleep faster and stay asleep as well.

We would not rate this the most useful app but it is close, not the best sounds but close. So we give it an 4 out of 5. SleepSounds is very helpful and we would recommend to family and friends. No adds so you can get good sleep, you can even create your own sounds. Or set timers so you don’t waste your phone battery.

I enjoy the rain sounds especially when I can’t get to sleep, having a timer also makes it easy to use and not worry about it being on all night.

The preprogrammed sounds are great but what makes SleepSounds nice is that you can edit the sounds. Sounds can be combined and volume level for each sound is fully customizable.

This is a good sleep/relaxation app even at its free level. The only thing that is a bit frustrating is that it will come on really low d in the middle of the night, sometimes often even when I set the timer for 14 hours. Which when u are using to improve your sleep is a bit counter productive 😜

I was skeptical SleepSounds would help me get a better sleep, but it really works! I listened to each sound and found the one I liked. Then I turned it on, set the timer and next thing I knew-I was asleep! No more tossing and turning and laying awake!

I love SleepSounds I have trouble sleeping at night and it helped the thing I don’t like is sometimes you have to watch adds but it is very helpful and helps me sleep when I’m stressed and need to calm down and sleep my brother also uses SleepSounds .

I have recently started getting a popup only from SleepSounds. I've been using it for years with no issues but suddenly I'm getting this exact popup. It's the same popup, opens in safari, and only happens with SleepSounds. I don't mind the ads on SleepSounds but to open basically a popup is a huge issue. I don't know if this is something deliberate, but it feels really scammy.

I would love to continue to use SleepSounds but I can't keep it on my phone with it producing popups.

So you can click on what kind of sounds you want and it has a start that you can customize. You can choose from a lot of sounds and put them on a mix. You can also choose how loud they are which is really nice. One of my favorite features is that you can set a timer for when the sounds stop and then they fade out automatically. Overall it’s a really helpful app that gets me exactly what I want

I have gotten so much better if you make your custom one i recommend the ocean heavy rain and water fall it sounds amazing i used this years ago and i just downloaded it again a little over a month ago and it work perfectly

When I did my first mix I was thinking about my dream place straight up its soooooooo relaxing it's just download this game it's just when my mom saw she was like downloaded every sleep game and had to tell her the right one

It helps me sleep in 10 minutes I set it for 3 hours and 29 minutes and it puts me out in a light I love to listen to is and this is a satisfying way to go to sleep it makes you feel like you don’t want to get up but you have to i love SleepSounds it helps so much thank you I love the cafe one it is satisfying to listen to than you love Reese

I just discovered the other sounds you can add in each category. I can have the fire on and add the lake and loons, and thunder when I want too. When I have trouble sleeping I put SleepSounds on and I go right to sleep. It’s not just for sleep—I put the fire sounds on all day.
