For starters when you first create your account you have four options for an avatar 2 animals and one white girl or white boy! Once you’ve created your account I seen ONE book that had a brown girl on the cover the rest were all white children or white families, I just don’t find this conducive or inclusive when reading to my BLACK/BROWN child and there’s no characters that look like him or his family! and same goes for ANY OTHER race there’s no characters other than white or animal characters 🥴😒

UPDATE:
This app is trash. It lets you read a story or 2 for free and then after that, you can’t get past 3 pages of a story without the premium payment pop up! When you click out of that pop up, it closes the whole story! What a joke.
Skip this app unless you’re willing to pay for it…

Was able to read my daughter 1 story, it was really good! Now we get an error message that says, “Error: Too many calls on /configuration”. No idea what that means. We’ve closed and reopened the app several times, may try uninstalling and reinstalling later.

I opted for the premium account and now cannot log in. I’ve paid for the full year, deleted, restarted, turned on and off the phone, restored purchases, forgot password; you name it and still cannot log in while it is still showing up on my Apple subscriptions. Support has not provided any solutions or refunds ; buyer beware
