So I started this game 5 days ago. Grinded very hard to get what was needed and played the most technical I could to make it as optimized as possible. The worst part is I didn’t enjoy it at all. Made it to level 11. The troop power isn’t scaled at all. A single legendary character ( which has only a 2% pull rate with 200 gems for each pull) can devastate my 14k power army at 7k power. I never got one legendary and can’t move forward unless I pay into the game or continue grinding a game that isn’t enjoyable. You need to tweak the game and make it more balanced. And make it easier to get gems. I don’t want to spend $20 to do a single pull for a 2% chance of getting a decent troop.
Also infuriated me when I spent 200 gems (that took 3 days to get ) for a celestial pull which has the highest odds for high tier troops and only got a common 4 star unit

Never playing the game again. Do not recommend at all

My son introduced me to this game about a month after he started playing. We were enjoying it together. It was discouraging to him because I could ascend troops with easier materials than his account, so it didn’t take long for me to fly past him. Annoying, but we still played. Now one morning he gets up and his saved squad coins are less, and his storage is full so he can’t collect any or do events that award them. It was a drastic change and really makes no sense. He can maybe level 1 troop 2 levels a day? How do you progress at this point? All these “tests” are kinda ridiculous when it’s sporadic, it creates an uneven playing field, and honestly if I had his account they’d be no point playing at all. I really don’t want to play as much now either. It’s even affected our clan activity and I understand why. And there’s no word from any devs etc. the lack of transparency is sad to be honest.

The game has had issues since the very first battle. It would not let me merge troops which ment I could not clear the very first stage. I have not unlocked any features so there was literally nothing I can do. Solution just to try to play, I paid for the .99 cent troop chest, success! I was able to clear the first stage. Now it wants me to merge 3 archers.. I don’t have 3 to merge and the arrow takes you off map where you cannot go (I took screenshots of all the issues).. soo once again the game is unplayable. I don’t care if they don’t refund the dollar, I do care they fix these issues and respond to my emails. I have not seen many reviews with this just other complaints about updates so I hope this is a rare one off glitch and others can enjoy the game.

Fix these errors and I’d be happy to update my review and give appropriate stars!

Spent a month playing and roughly $70 on various bundles. Though I’m deleting it and this is where I landed:

Pros:
The concept is cool where it mixes a few different mobile game mechanics with battling, resource cycles, and merging units. But some of that is also it’s downfall.

Cons:
You’re almost disincentivized for merging your strongest units. Because it’s better to have multiples of a strong one on the battlefield than only one super strong one of it. You’ll learn that the hard way.

The concept of merging units turns into a kingdom full of garbage and A LOT of time wasting in there trying to manage it all. Even though they give you the “auto-sort” feature, that is only marginally helpful as you’ll still have units cross spans of the map I grouped. It would be better if they stacked the units instead of spreading them out. (archer x3) instead of (archer) (archer) (archer) what was initially cool, turns out to be a massive annoyance.

Within the first two weeks you will be bombarded with game modes and events that although are cool at first, they’ll quickly turn into overload of more stuff to manage and more modes that require your time and attention. This might better as a PC game where you want tinker with inventory and spend hours getting nowhere fast rather than a quick pick up and play mobile.

Had to give it one star since zero is not available. I have been playing for over a year now and was a top player in the arena and had many units leveled extremely high. In the time I have been playing I suffered through multiple updates where they removed some existing progress, ie. buildings etc. it was annoying but manageable. However in the most recent update that all changed, they completely deleted all game progress even purchased unlocked land and reset everyone to zero. Seems fair right? Logging countless hours on a game and spending actual money on gems and unlocks and you are rewarded with a weak apology and 10K coins. By the way that 10k in coins was given to every player no matter the value of their account. I reached out to their support team and this is was their response

They offered no response on my follow up question either. This isn’t just annoying it’s criminal to take peoples money and not offer a remedy or reimbursement when you take back their purchases or progress. Do not download this game you are bound to be let down by their poor update management and customer service. I am escalating to apple for a refund based on this company stealing peoples money.

This game was a lot of fun like most mobiles in the beginning. Gets more difficult as you go unless you spend money. I spent some but not too much thankfully because my legendary hero’s one by one start disappearing. Spent a lot of time and some money acquiring these and now I’m stuck because my strongest troops are magically gone. I can see them in library but can’t access or use them in any game mode. I didn’t retire them nor did I use them on any other troops. I used the “help” button generic someone will get back with you response and nothing. They have a couple days to give me my troops back or I am out. Haven’t seen any reviews about this other than updates wiping progress…. Maybe this is a new bug or glitch but from what I have read nothing gets fixed other than a few gems which does nothing, especially considering good chests and summons even in bulk don’t give you anything of value… probabilities are ridiculous. Don’t waste your time unless major fixes…. NOT MORE GAME MODES…. Are done.

Let’s see…you took away land, are now charging a ridiculous amount of gold to upgrade the castle, took away gold mines to make it harder to get that gold, reduced troop count in battles to make it harder to fight, took away soul mines to make it harder to level up troops, greatly reduced effectiveness of training centers to get better troops (and charging gold now for that as well), increased the battle cost across the board to make it even more difficult to train troops, and I’m pretty sure that some of my troops disappeared with the upgrade. The one “bonus” of receiving more rewards when you level up is immediately made invalid by the greedy devs greatly increasing the amount of experience required to level up. Devs have officially made this game pay to play for anyone who wasn’t already maxed out prior to the latest upgrade. Trolling your user base to force them to pay is a terrible business model. I’ll give them one update to fix this mess, then I’ll delete the game and stop wasting my time.

Been playing for over a year. In that time they have changed the stats on your character and the enemies at least six or seven times. Before the last update my primary team was over 800k in power. Now it is just over 400k. When trying to beat the level in the adventure area that I have been beating for over four months, now I get defeated. Even though I was beating it 4 months ago with about 40% less power than I had before the update.

They can’t seem to settle on the stats for this game. It is an absolute catastrophe. I would love the game if they could get that figured out. But it has went up and down so many times that I am sick of dealing with it. I am deleting TopTroops after this review. If it is the same person in charge of this the whole time, they definitely need to be fired.

If it is multiple people then they need to find someone who is capable of figuring this out. I have been playing games on the iPad since it first came out and I’ve never seen anything get changed this much and still not be right.

So we went from being able to get good mats and being able to do the story side of the map which used to cost 3 energy 5-6 times a day to a maximum of 3 and now the mats that you could get are no longer available there as well as a massive drop in gold. Add to that the fact that I lost half my building with all the dust that the training camps where processing as well as the fact that now all training camps had all the units I was able to craft now locked and I would need to upgrade the building and all it’s counterparts another 13 levels just to get to where I was before the rework makes this a terrible patch job. I feel like they either didn’t put a lot of thought into it or just didn’t care how badly it would affect their players. Thanks to this I see the stagnation period from when you finish clearing the story to being able to clear the dark version becoming much worse than it already was. If you’re a fellow player then I wish you luck, if you’re new and looking to start playing I suggest you look elsewhere because once you get to the midway point you will basically become stuck for a long long time. Wanted to update as the new update shifted this game heavily into pay to win…

1. Took away 2nd builder without pass purchase
2. Increased money cost on all upgrades to the point I can’t update a building except maybe once every 2 weeks with completely upgraded mines to my level.
3. New leveling system is strictly about money unless they increase gateway respawn
4. Haven’t updated any grinding features just money grabs
5. After being in top 50 this game has no purpose as I don’t intend to spend thousands of dollars for gold and purple chests.
6. No end game

This game is good. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to be good but some luck won’t hurt! What I would like to see is a little more balance in the amounts of the stuff you get… maybe have it built into a descaling % instead of getting the same 750 for a group of 3 at level 1 vs 40. Some of the rebalance that happened in a recent update as well will benefit new player more than existing but was still needed. Overall great free game that you just need to spend time on and not money!

I spend about 20k gems to get my Oni warrior to rank 10, and now they just nerf it. I will not spend that much gems if Oni warrior wasn’t that good, now they just nerf it after tricking people spend a lot to get it. If they can do this now, they will do this in the future again and again after trick people into spending gems for something we thought are good then they just nerf it and laugh at us for our stupidity. P.S. Just checked older comments of this game, and it seems this is not their first time in do this kind of nerf fraud. P.P.S. The in game support replied me, said this is for “game balancing”, so if game balancing is so important, why not improve the strength of common and rare units? Why not improve the rate of legendaries? The truth is, it is all about money and greed! P.P.P.S They did it again by nerfing units without letting us know, it is a good time to quit this game of fraud.

I’ll try making this short and sweet. So I used to play this game, made it up to the sixth spot in the Arena so I had spent time playing the game and enjoyed it. I’ve noticed the past few monthly updates the game gets the developers turn into Mona-Lisa from Parks & Rec with their hand out yelling, “MONEY PWEEEZZZZ!!” These past few updates they have sort of taken stuff away from the game but put it behind the usual having to spend real money (just going to give the example of the second builder that we USED to always have in the game till you took it away from us and put it in the monthly KINGDOM PASS). In my opinion it’s not really fun anymore, kinda bored with the getting stuff taken away each update just for it to be behind a (hey give us money) thing. I don’t know, that’s just my two cents.

I have only been playing for a month, so not much time has been wasted by me however, an update was put out today that was mandatory, upon updating and logging back in I am met with a message stating that the developers are very sorry but the entire game had to be reset. So all the troops I have gathered and merged all the achievements all the gems and all of the pvp battles I had won were gone. I was understandably upset, and came to TopTroops Store to review, to find that this has happened multiple times before. Who is to say that it won’t happen again. Player beware. It is an incredible game, I enjoy it immensely, however to have my progress reset for ANY reason beyond breaking rules or hacking is reprehensible.

I was reached out to by Zynga to update my review, I am deleting TopTroops as the game has become a cash grab. One star, do not download.

Every update this developer does this game gets worse and worse. Trying to upgrade troops has gotten more and more tedious because there is never enough gold to do anything. Additionally, the odds of success on upgrading gear is not based on actual odds they state but based on how much gear and gold you have. The game struggles with lag as well and needs work to get rid of those bugs. The other part of the game is that it does nothing with cheating. Player v. Player is fine but when you are fighting story mode or fighting in chamber of destiny the game will pull out everything to screw you over. This game has no problem weakening your units while increasing the strength of their units even though they are the exact same units. The game hides behind “tactics” to explain why you have lost but the explanations make no sense. This game needs to eliminate all cheating that it has in the game and start working on a fair and balance game between players and the non player battles.

Update I tried playing further and the game developers gave a response but the game has gotten much worse. I deleted TopTroops because this is the worst cheating game I have ever played in my life. Do not download this game or you will end up with the same feeling I had after months of playing this game.

This new update is so far from what the game used to be. This change is not for the good though. I was in a top 100 clan and most of our top players have quit because of this update and I’m going to be quitting as well. The new update isn’t fun to play. I feel like all the hard work we put in up till now was all just a wasted. My top troops are all bad now. Team comps are completely gone!! BUT THEY KEEP PUSHING THE MICRO TRANSACTIONS!! All that was done was a move toward buying more things from the store. Like many of these great games, the studios ruin the fun by getting greedy. You nerfed all of the troops you pushed on the market and then you stripped it away from everyone up to this point. I’m done and won’t be back nor spend money on any game coming out of this studio.

Also reading dev response to poor star ratings and they are non answer replays and terrible apologies. What a joke! I was on the fence about deleting TopTroops … it’s for sure now…

Update: no room to place anything and no way of deleting or selling trash units. Legendary failure status. Went from 2star-3star-1star.

Its amazing how often the ads work then shortly afterwards the game can glitch and you lose hours of progress. The second time around gear upgrades may or may not cost more. You may or may not get the same stars doing storyline over. Depending on how many hours are lost and energy spent, we may or may not have lost a large amount of energy. It gets to be ridiculous. Making the game tedious. And making us feel like we’re only watching ads for the sole purpose of potentially glitching the game. UPDATE : you fixed magic island issue at least, you do seem like you genuinely care about the over all player experience, tho yall be making rash moves sometimes. And the other issue still hasn’t seemed to be fixed. But I bumped you back up to 3 stars from. It was going to be a solid 1 if that magic island issue didn’t get fixed. Waiting 30 days for that was ridiculous. I still feel like waiting 30 days for the fraction tower insane as well.

Before an update at the beginning of August this game was literally one of the best. Prior to the update I had spent about $1,000 on this game where the previous amount on a game was only $200. The game was that fun. But now they completely changed the game, making the upgrades I spent money on completely useless. The game is hard to progress and none of the current player base enjoys the update. It’s terrible but at least I have great memories from when this game was so amazing and fun. Don’t download it now as the upgrade system is super confusing and hard to learn, leveling takes even longer, and all the game modes need revision because of the massive changes. Also, some of the worst devs I’ve come across. They don’t explain why they are making changes and they don’t correct any issues the players actually care about. That’s why everyone is leaving. It’s painful because the game’s initial concept was so fun.

I was really enjoying this game, like I made it to level 20 in a few days because I was actually having fun, yesterday it appears there was an update that massively changed the game. At this point the game is no longer fun to me and unless this is to be reverted, I’ll be done playing this game. The only upside to the update was visuals, the troops look a little bit cooler but I don’t care what my troops look like if you’ve gone and ruined the game I was enjoying. If you wanted to change this much this late in the game, you should have made a separate app. -Sincerely, a disappointed gamer

Update:August 5, You have decided to leave a message on my review so let me be more clear. I do not care in the slightest if you’re “sorry”. Revert the changes made in the update 2.0 or accept that you lost your fan base. Plain and simple. I already deleted TopTroops , saving only the data, it will not be redownloaded until the changes are reverted.

I really enjoyed this game when I loaded it. I decided to invest money in it because you get so much more quicker and it’s slow to advance without purchasing. After investing hundreds of dollars the new update changed everything I invested in. I asked for a refund because my purchases have been altered. I will update if I get this matter settled or not. I recommend not starting this game because your progress and money invested can and will be changed on any given update. It’s like stealing what you paid for and that’s not a moral practice. Company greed will disappoint you- please don’t support this game and those that steal from you what you purchased. The new update made me lose clan battles against the weakest unit with against way more powerful purchased troops by making it so your attacks don’t effect anything they time running out and you lose. Several updates ruined the game and it doesn’t work. Save your self the frustration and from being scammed and do not play or support socialpoint games.

If I could, I would’ve given it negative stars so I had to unwillingly give it one star. The newest update that you guys just had onto the game completely ruined the game. Not only didn’t make all of my troops weaker, but it also made me lose close to 75% of my total overall power. Now I can’t even continue where I left off in the campaign because I am like 500,000 to 600,000 less power then I need to be, so somehow I got to regain that to even continue with the campaign mode, which is insane. Also the weigh the new Ascension is done is so dumb, why did you have to even mess with that? Also I hate that you took out the guy in the yacht who used to retire your unneeded troops in exchange for the token thing to where you could buy items, I had a bunch of common to rare type troops to where I was trying to build them up to a higher level to then sell, but of course, all that is gone now. The only thing I don’t really mind is the way you level up people, but that’s it. I don’t understand why you felt you needed to fix something that wasn’t broken. You guys really messed this one up, possibly even just killed your game unless you’re able to roll it back.

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year now and I can see how bad it’s becoming due to greed.
It’d cost me now 3 to 5 times more to upgrade my legendary and epic troops thanks to a recent upgrade. Now with this latest upgrade….. no chests on arena so there won’t be friction on the game…ok what about players that are starting with the game and are in need of troops to be able to attack 12 times in guild wars?? Wait for the daily challenges to get two chests? Or get a chest every 10 to 20 levels in towers of fate/factions…..but how to attack high levels if no troops are available?? Even with advanced players, above bronce 3 will receive a T1 trainer cap…… frustration!!
I’ve spent a good dime in this game but I won’t anymore, neither my clan is, as a matter of fact 70% of players in my clan have given up on the game. I’ve spent money buying legendary troops and now developers turned them into fragments….. what if I wanted to keep those troops? I mean I put in the money… shouldn’t I at least been given a choice?? Or turn them into wild fragments at least!! I buy something in Roblox and developers won’t mess with it.

Zero balance. It’s like rock, paper, scissors, but with some rocks beating everything regardless. Your success is only determined by “which” units you pull, and how many legendary you pull. There are legendaries who alone can wipe an entire army, so if you get one, the entire game is pointless. It’s so sad to see what is a fun little battler ruined by the lack of balance. The entire “merge” system is pointless, since you are only merging trash to get points top by retiring the trash. You never get a chance to merge anything useful, so the system has no impact on the game outcome at all. You could ignore it completely and the game would be the same. Last, the battle difficulty has incredible spikes at times, where you will spend days waiting for pulls to overcome one fight, but then be able to three-star it and the next ten battles immediately. There is too much binary outcome of one side being overpowered or underpowered, so tactics matters not very much. Your tactics are also determined by your pulls, rather than careful thought, so sometimes there is nothing you can do as a counter tactic.
All in all, a very cute game with great possibility, but with the outcome always being determined by luck and money, but never by skill.

This was a great 5 star game! Then the developers updated the game, and changed too many things at once. I was playing this game a lot for the past 3 weeks, but the update is HORRIBLE. Rather concerning too. I would have made this “update” a different game all together…the upgrade II for troop is completely different than it was. Ascending troops is also different. They changed the value and nerfed all your strong troops that you have built up. I am deleting what was once upon a time a wonderfully fun game. Won’t be playing this game any more. Thank you developers for making this an EASY decision for me. With this big of a change, I cannot recommend this game or any apps by this developer. They will change the game completely over night on you…like did they even test market this update?…..it is really bad, and they have alienated a lot of players. Don’t waste your time, don’t download.

So i’ve been playing this game since November of last year, Im top 60 in the arena rankings and I really enjoyed the gameplay, merge aspect and adventure battles but since this new auto sort update, it’s 10 times harder to progress and level up your troops in the library due to it being so much harder to get troop coins. Before the update, you were able to fill your coin storage fully or halfway for a reasonable amount of gems but now it’s near impossible because its like 40,000 gems which is crazy! And doing the adventure battles doesn’t even help, they give you little to no coins so progress takes even longer. Auto sort was an okay update i guess, i would have preferred auto merge. I also like the new dark mode but i can barely progress because it takes forever to level up my troops. I also feel that auto win shouldn’t have tickets, if you cleared that level, you should be able to auto win that level however many times you want with the energy you have, it’s so stupid. This game had so much potential and was so fun before this new auto sort update. I really hope the dev’s make some changes soon because the game has become so much worse, i feel like it’s turning away new players too because they can barely progress.

Where to begin.. I have been playing this game every for the past 4 months. I’ve spent about $80 on extra items which are now useless because of the latest update. Instead of merging there is now a cap on the level of ordinary units and upgrades require gems as well as units. The gem limit was reduced - why was this done? And the design of the characters and the landscapes looks not as good (tbh it looks juvenile now). The battles are basically pointless now, the damage dealt is 1/10 of what it used to be. These changes were clearly made to encourage purchasing items, which I understand because apps don’t exist for fun, they’re a business, but as someone that’s spent a decent amount on TopTroops I am disappointed and annoyed by the changes, so much so that I might take a break for a while. Also, I remember the survey that was shared asking about thoughts regarding upcoming changes, so these updates were planned months ago, but I didn’t suspect so much would change. Feels like I’m playing a different game now which is frustrating.

I’ve been playing this game for about two months and it was going great I was enjoying it…I ’ve spent about $30 but that’s only for the kingdom pass (this games version of season pass which is 9.99 per pass) which I felt was worth it for the rewards you received so as a f2p player it was great…the odds of getting epic and legendary troops wasn’t bad either (being every 20 summons id get at least one legendary and a few epic) but now in the last week I’ve spent over 4K gems and over 200 summon shards and only got 2 epic troops no legendary nothing but commons and some rare and to make matters worse you used to be able to ascend legendary troops from rank 4 to 7 using only epic troops (of different ranks of course) but now it requires you to only use other legendary which with the drop odds makes it near impossible to increase your power without dropping some serious cash

I have had this game for @ 7 months, at first it was a solid game I spent money. On season passes and a few other assorted upgrade purchases , there were a few issues that were minor annoyances but tolerable. Then they did an update and completely changed the entire game. All purchases were negated as all upgrades to characters were removed and they have completely made it near impossible impossible to level up. It will take months to level up (1 )character let alone the numerous characters that would also need to be leveled up to even be competitive enough to complete different objectives in the game. The game board itself will be obsolete and unusable after a couple of months of playing as there is limited room to hold your players. It essentially shuts down play of any kind because of gridlock on game board. Do not waste your time, under no circumstances should you put a penny into TopTroops. It is unfortunate as I actually enjoyed playing until the complete change to almost every aspect after the update.

Would be a great game if they’d actually let you play it. The limited amount of energy and the time it takes to get energy is gross. Pay to win is expected for a game like this. I don’t mind the grind. But you can’t grind. Just a tactic to try to get you to pay money that I won’t spend a dime on this game. If they were more “generous” in actually giving you energy and higher energy caps I would’ve spent a good amount on it. But I refuse. The greed is blatant and bad.

Edit* after getting to about level 15 or 16 there are a few more ways to play which is nice. When you run out of energy you can play different game modes. I think this game has a lot of potential. I love the concept. They just have to figure out a good pace and flow for the early gameplay loop

I have been playing close to a year. It’s been good so far, I even endured that update that wiped out all of our progress a few months ago, no biggie. I like the chambers and island modes, they’re fun and allow us to get some nice goodies. Still, it’s getting a bit old. Stuff like clan battles, challenges, events with bigger prizes, new units, seasonal events/prizes etc. would keep it fresh. Daily tasks are the same, completely mechanical and I can do them while I’m still asleep in the mornings. It poses no challenge whatsoever and it’s become stale. Anyway, I’ll keep playing but maybe not for long if it continues to be the same thing over and over like that Groundhog Day movie.

Been playing the game for about 5 days now. 2 days in I decided to reset using the in-game reset option so I could spend my gems better. Now on my new game I’ve reached the magical islands and are about 5 area sets in. I clicked on a big iron chest and accidentally started a battle. When I was done with the battle my game would now not let me auto-reorganize troops, instead saying “wait for previous thing to finish” or something. Now when I try to get back in the game it pauses on “logging in…” and completely freezes on “game managers…” at first I thought that it just sucked that I’d have to restart but now even if I delete and re-download the game this doesn’t solve the problem. Could I get any help kindly?

I like the merge mechanics and battle mechanics. It’s a pretty fun game, but the pay wall came fast. I paid for the season pass almost immediately, and it was higher than I have seen in similar games. I was hoping this would let me do some progression to keep me occupied for several days, because I’m stuck in bed recovering from an accident. But, I’m still stuck with very few legendary characters and too many common characters. Even waiting and waiting for 4 different types of energy/resources to build up to the low limit, only allows for about 5-10 min of game play before you are out of energy, and out of resources to level up your units to match the level of enemies their putting you against.

This is not a good level progression, and is not worth it for f2p, because you will quickly get swallowed up by the difficulty level of each new area that opens.

Highly recommend this game, however, once you get further along and need to try to get higher rated rare and legendary gear for your troops, the only option is to really grind it out. They conveniently lock a significant portion of the auto battle tokens behind their $20 monthly pass. $5? Sure. $10? Maaaaaybe. But $20 knowing that they also have a $14 monthly pass for something totally different? Absolutely not. You can earn auto battle tokens elsewhere but not enough to make a difference so you’re left grinding for gear do the same battles you know you’re going to win over and over and over. Lower the price of the monthly battle pass and this game is an easy 5 star game. This game is ALMOST better than you’re typical cash grab game being that there is 0 pay to win. This one just happens to be equally as bad because it’s pay for convenience.

I like the game thus far. However, I do have one main complaint. Top Troops (like too many other games) has what I guess you would call a tutorial at the beginning that does not just guide your hand during the beginning of the game, it down right grabs your wrist, pulls you where it is made to and will not allow you to do anything else until you perform the task the game has at that point. I can’t access any other features in the game, I can’t access things like my profile or even the settings menu. What if I to see the legal info in game for one second. Can’t do that. There isn’t even some setting to turn the tutorial off or something. This sort of thing about games *really* ticks me off and what’s worse, a large number of games out there do this too. It makes the game a lot less fun, at certain times, than it could be. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Been playing this a few weeks. Perfect for f2p or players who don’t mind a few irl dollars spent to save hours of grinding. The progression is smooth and enjoyable, new items and buildings and tactics unlock at a respectable pace so you don’t get bored or overwhelmed. This will change as you progress of course, buildings begin to increase in costs for both resources and time. Units being merged in larger groups have benefits, try to get as many units merged at once as possible! Music is somewhat monotonous, but I haven’t found a single mobile game that has a solution to that. Art work is clean and easy on the eyes. Animations are fluid. Scenery is vibrant and thematic, each area stands out so far. No unit types are similar, which is great. I hope we can increase the rank of our first hatched units at some point, no more one stars when you start having a LOT of different units. Space becomes quite the premium. Aside from that, and even with that, five star game. Keep the updates and new stuff coming in, this game will stay active on my phone for months or years to come.

After the update reset, it hurts knowing the money spent is gone forever. Took away a star because of it. Still a fun game, and the new stuff looks fun.

It’s a really fun game, but there are somethings that I think need to change. I feel like we should be able to use the gold to buy other things besides buying shops or upgrading. It’s really hard to spend the gold when you can’t buy anything and your other shops/buildings are upgrading. I also feel as we should be able to friend other people and fight each other. Also, once we friend each other, we could maybe even fight together we our friends. We could fight each other and also even help each other by battling with our friends. Another way to help our friends out is giving them so items. If our friend has lots of gold, but we don’t have a lot then they could give us some. We could also have a more variety of chests and what they give us. Lastly, the last idea is that maybe we could trade our units for other unit with our friends. Overall this is a really nice game and i really enjoy it, but like always some things could be changed.

Game is fun, good time waster. However, after reaching lvl 10 every time I open TopTroops there are SEVEN full screen ads for in app purchases. Each individual pop ups require you to manually exit out of, only to be followed by another immediately after. You cannot open the game without undergoing this process, and if you’re like me and play for a few minutes at a time throughout the day it becomes progressively more infuriating. This isn't the only flaw, but it is the most gratuitous.

I understand the devs need income and deserve to generate revenue from their hard work. However, the way they go about it goes well beyond the already money grubby industry standard for iOS games.

This game is pretty cool with nice characters thats can do cool things only thing I don’t like is they match you with other players who have higher fighter points and it makes it hard to win levels for example my characters which sometimes it’s 12 or 15 there max defenses adds up to 33k they give you players that’s 40k and higher and there’s no way you’ll win you don’t get anything for trying either you have to wait to upgrade your characters and do older matches in the adventure mood to earn the blue coins and treasure chest to
Get more and merge them to get higher points as well I rather be matched with a person who is on my level so it’s a fair chance other than that very cool game.

They updated the game recently with some changes in leveling up your troops, ascending progression and merging. However, with the new changes in store it makes it harder to win battles and makes leveling up legendary troops useless. Also, I really don’t like the fact that when upgrading the gear, it fails in the process which unfortunately makes me spend more coins and eventually run out every single time. Especially when the legendary gear takes 12 rounds to complete, speaking of legendary gear, not understanding why there isn’t any levels or quests available to play to earn some legendary gear? Overall I do love playing the game it is fun regardless but I hope these issues that I mentioned get looked at and someone will fix it

I really like this game but I’ve prolly spent 10$ on the game and bought 2 emperor chests and literally got nothing good at all. Which is stupid because I’ll spend my money but not if I won’t get anything good I also bought the 600 gem island and got nothing outta those good chests. It really just pisses me off y’all should either make the chests cheaper make it a lot higher chance too get better troops. I know y’all need too make your money but don’t you think you’ll make more if better stuff comes out of the chests. Ps . It would be nice too send me some gems for the 5star review. ( I play the game a lot )

Ok, I had to put something ridiculous and unprofessional so everyone would know that this isn’t some bot or generic or response created by the developers to make everyone want a piece of the action. This is genuinely a decent game, and I can honestly say that I have never had more fun, if any at all, playing a merge game. I wish there was like a limit about of extra gold star option to Award apps on iPhone form people like me who truly appreciate the apps, because I would certainly drop one.

Not only does it not spam you with ads, it’s actually super fun! There’s much more content then expected from a free mobile game, and it doesn’t spam you with starter pack „deals“ or anything like that.

My only recommendation is to add an auto-merger mode. After a little bit of play, you have a lot of troops scattered around the main screen, and it’s difficult to tell if there’s stuff you can merge. So either a menu option that says what troops can be merged, or an auto merger.

Thanks, I really do want to see this game grow, and I appreciate it.

Only been playing for a couple days but have grown to really enjoy it. Only problem is the day after the update my game tried updating in the middle of my game play and messed up my land and buildings. So now I can no longer buy any buildings and I’ve lost 3 of the buildings that I already bought. I have sent a message to support with no response at all and I’ve tried just biting the bullet and uninstalling and reinstalling with new data but no luck it keeps game data witch is normally good, just not for me right now

After seeing the add for this game for like the 47th time I tried it and to my surprise it was really good It is better than most games and barley any ads at all I recommend you try it and prove me wrong but first if there are any devs reading this can you add an all merge feature? It is kinda hard for me to make sure all of my units are merged without missing any being able to merge all for free or with an ad with just one click would be very nice anyway thanks for reading have a greeeeaaat day bye

I found this game from a Mr Beast video game and i’m disappointed that I didn’t find it sooner, I love this game and the way its built out but I have some requests. 1. To be able to build and upgrade (more easily) the squad coins and regular coin building. 2. Like the last request just make everything more cheaper to upgrade or made it easier to get coins. 3. I really don’t understand how to attack and defend in this game with certain troops and when I do I get killed way faster then when I was doing it randomly. 4. Make it easier to get more of the summon tokens. 5. Upgrade the energy thing so if you put in a certain amount of coins you can store and get more energy for the adventures and challenges. Besides these issues I love this game and hope it will grow!

I just accidentally found this game and couldn’t be happier for it. I enjoy it. I just tried it out and I liked it. Have been playing now about 8-10 months,I guess. I have noticed the changes, the improvements of the game and can tell that it’s going through an amazing growth and I am pleased with everything I’ve seen. Fun game! Yes, it has aspects of ‘merge’ games, but NOT THAT GAME! You actually get to fight, not hard to merge…It is actually pretty intelligent. Different units have different strengths/weaknesses. This is only a merge game in the lightest way. It is MUCH more prepared/developed. My only qualm…..stop giving me PVP with everybody 2-3x my power! Haha. Maybe the think you want to shoot for stars/feel lucky…NO! We all lose, occasionally, to somebody weaker (he/she has strategy)….but, not 2x, 3x. I can send any idiots, when I am 2-3x. I’m too drunk to learn strategy. Fun game, on MANY levels. I was afraid that I was going to be matching gems. Best ‘Ad’ that I saw on a game. I play this game more, now

As with all games this game can be a bit frustrating at first. Progression will be slow but only for a couple of days. The more you play the quicker you get resources. The system is so good that you can build your power up every couple of days. It helps that the rewards for doing arena and the other daily quests are phenomenal. A daily player will be rewarded greatly. But the best aspect is the unit pulling system. It’s easy to get legendary and epic units. I get one such unit at least every other day. On top of this the game gives you various ways to earn summons to the point that you can get at least two summons a day. Which is very helpful because for every fifty summons you’re given a free legendary unit. You’re given a choice of three units and you can reload the units by using jewels which are in abundance. This is by far the first game that the gacha system didn’t irritate me. One bad thing I have to say is that sometimes you get unit shards and you only get one to five each summon though you need one hundred. Also, if you spend in a game this one actually has worthwhile offers. Now for the only other bad comment I can make which is that some of the features take too long to unlock. There’s one feature that takes a week in between unlocking. The upside is that there’s enough to do without being overwhelmed.

It’s a great game great features I like but it also depends on what level they are rather than just the army power in battle but my main complaint is that somethings just don’t make sense how does a level six rare free stars have more army power then A two star rare but it’s level of 11! And please make for Epix and legendary a little more common because I swear something like 75% of all of my troops are commons or rares. PS I know it says five stars but I want to do 4 1/2 thank you.(:

Yall are very brave releasing ver 0.0.00X to us! Fun to see gave under dev. Wanna see what yall have planned for multiplayer mode!

Couple things I’m seeing:
Spells aren’t available when needed, eg vs kamikazes, you cant tangle them because they blow up before spell button enables.

Ninjas seem overpowered. We just line them up with opposing ranged, they get a free hit or 2, and its over.

On iOS, when swiping up to switch out of app, game can accidentally merge units. UI needs no merge areas at bottom and top of screen.

Adventure mode has some of the trail markers too low on the screen, behind bottom bar, hard to tap them.

Town Hall 7 quest completed when I reached TH6.

At TH5, I pretty much had all the units. Might consider rebalancing the chests etc a bit, make your content last longer. Ie TH1-3, common units. TH4-5 rares, TH6-7 epics, no legendarys until TH 8.

Just some thoughts. Great work team.
