I already know quite a lot of ASL, but somebody told me that they were using InterSignASL to learn so I checked it out. Besides they’re not being very many levels, I could not pass most of these exams on the first try. Many of the signs may have been regional, but a lot were just inaccurate. Also a huge part of ASL is facial expression and the man in these videos has no facial expressions. Often they would ask for you to translate a sentence into English grammar, in which case many versions of those same words in English grammar would make sense, but only one way would be accepted. Other times it would be the opposite and they would want you to put an English sentence into ASL grammar, but the acceptable answer was not true ASL grammar. The woman also mouthed along to her sentences, which isn’t best practice anyway, but wasn’t always saying what she signed. A lot of the signs I could figure out, but were awkward, slightly off, or turned the wrong way. Some examples of troublesome signs were many numbers, brother, and none.
