I have purchases your product and I haven't been able to enjoy your services due to the fact my account hasn't been updated on your end. I have screenshots of a message that my information will be updated. I've been getting that same message for two weeks now and you still haven't updated. I've been trying to find a way to contact but can't find any email, support site that doesn't have prompts so as to relay a direct message or issue, just the ones you think are necessary. I would still like to try your product even though it seems to be more a problem than a solution. This is the only forum I have to bring this issue to you. And I am very frustrated and dissatisfied at this point. Do you think you can help me? I still have TotalAdblock and screenshots of a repeated message that's been sent over a week with no progress. And now I can't seem to leave my name because your company I guess can't distinguish two accounts with the same name. Maybe that's the reason I'm having issues with your product. The nickname 'Dissatisfied' is taken as well. Guess I'm not the first!

Ripped off

I was offered this at $2.99 a month when i got a new phone. The next month it went up to $9.95. I didn’t notice until the next month. Figuring out how to contact them was very difficult. I finally chatted with someone and was offered the $2.99 again, for real. I thought I’d try it. I was refunded the $6.95 for the 3rd month. But the next day, my bank showed another charge for $9.95. Although PayPal showed the refund my bank didn’t. But I have 2 charges in my bank of $9.95. So back to the site to try and contact someone, finally did with a chat. I asked for a phone number but wasn’t given one. I knew I couldn’t play with this company anymore. I tried to follow the cancellation process but it kept taking me back to chat with someone. I think I’m finally canceled. Now as long as I don’t keep getting deduction for Adblock with a canceled subscription, I’m glad I got out of there with only $20 loss so far.
Getting support is bad. The service itself I can’t say since I was so messed up with getting billed I cancelled before I really used it.

Restart my account

My account was closed because of non-payment. I have since signed up again and made payment and I am still seeing ads on Safari and Chrome. I’ll need to contact somebody to resolve this issue but there doesn’t seem to be anyone to contact! Any help out there??

Does NOT work, unable to contact support

Installed this , enabled every single filter the product has I still get ads on Facebook watch, all browsers. Configuring everything should cover at least something. It does not. Tried contacting support it does not exist, you simply get stuck in a loop of tutorials. Found online a company which somehow is able to get reviews and comments to the UK based company. Wrote a detailed description and sent it off - not heard anything in 2 weeks. I worked in software development for 25 years so I’m not making newbie mistakes. Install, reinstall, reboot, delete reconfigure , latest version - I’ve done everything, if I developed software like this in my career I would have been fired on the spot. Don’t know how they remain in business. Not able to give zero stars would if I could.
Deleting right now , apparently I’m on a free trial , will figure out how to stop them auto charging me the first month - not sure how to report to the apple App Store but this product needs to be gone

No Adblock protection provided & shady subscription

Got TotalAdblock for my phone. Ads were not blocked, app was geared towards pressuring me to subscribe monthly, so deleted app & used a different application. Some weeks later I get autobilled for a monthly subscription anyway, and in looking into this learn that you can get TotalAdblock for free but the free version is designed not to work-presumably on your phone. Customer service repeatedly refused to cancel the subscription instead trying to persuade me to keep using TotalAdblock with different subscription options. Had to go ballistic with them before the subscription was finally canceled and a refund issued.
A basic ad block feature that can be paid for once or with a small fee is one thing. But this was a pricey subscription that I didn’t want. TotalAdblock itself is adware bloat. Why is Apple allowing this on their App Store? My adblocker on my old phone worked well but is no longer available in the Apo store. Instead I get this crap. Thanks a lot Apple.

Would give them 0 if possible

TotalAdblock has been taking money from my account once sometimes more than once a month. I have tried to cancel, they tell me they can’t find my info and ask me to send them all-of my info to them in an email. None of the email addresses seem to match, but they have emailed me at the one I set up with the account. They still say they can’t find me in their system, but yet they find a way to get my money. I have gotten nowhere with them. I was able to get into what is supposed to be my account and it did say I was on the free account, but then they charge my card $9.95 every month. I keep disputing it and have deleted my card from my phone and got a new number and changed my password like Apple told me to do, but they still keep charging me. Don’t sign up with them or you will regret it. This has been going on for a year now.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! It doesn’t work.

I was going to begin what I’d hoped would be a troubleshooting series of emails from ’customer service’, but decided to check the reviews first. It turns out that their ‘customer service’ either doesn’t provide much ‘customer service’ or ignores you completely. I really really prefer to write positive reviews, however sleight I feel like by confirming that the product is good and reliable I’m helping some people out. But TotalAdblock is just fluff for the purpose of making money from people.
If I’m wrong, I can be contacted through any number of means - including ALLLLL of the contact information I’ve provided during the purchase process - and someone can show me what I was doing wrong: I’ll rewrite this review Immediately. If you still see this sentence, ah well, then you know how it currently stands…

They refuse to let me cancel. They ignore requests.

I got TotalAdblock. When I went to look at it the “standard” version was selected but was never activated. They hard sell all of the upgrades. They are so confusing I quickly decided it was not for me. I chatted with customer rep and they tried talking me out of canceling app. Then said they’d send Elmer an email to complete the cancellation process. Never received the email. Went to their support page and left a very clear message to cancel my app. The emailed back and wanted to work something out so I wouldn’t cancel app. I replied that I wanted to cancel app. No other option would do. Haven’t heard from them since. I was able to go and cancel automatic payments though so they only got me once. I would definitely not recommend. It feels like a hard sell scam.

STAY AWAY! DONT DO IT! Avoid this app.

Their services aren’t as promised on whatever social media ad you saw it on and it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. There’s no cancellation button to cancel, just to delete your account, which still keeps you subscribed to the service. Then, when you finally do reach a chat with a person, they won’t let you cancel. When you have finally told them “absolutely not,” they tell you that you should receive a link in 30 minutes or less. They won’t talk to you after that in the chat even though you are still online with them. Why can’t they just send the link in the chat? ITS PERFECTLY DESIGNED TO GET YOU TO NEVER UNSUBSCRIBE.

Plus, I think you start at $2.99, but that’s only the first bill or the cost of TotalAdblock , it goes up automatically to $9.99.

Decent App, Sketchy Business

I liked TotalAdblock well enough. I paid for the premium subscription but realized that the premium features weren’t worth the cost. I read some reviews and freaked out over the customer service horror stories. They did the dance when I reached out— giving me “exclusive offers” and such. I was actually able to get my subscription cancelled within three emails— didn’t threaten to report them to the BBB or anything I just kept sending one sentences replies confirming that I wanted to cancel. They weren’t rude like other customers have unfortunately experienced. It’s a shame they try to make it so hard to cancel. The service isn’t bad, there’s no reason to be sketchy like this.

Scam

Total ad block did not work. Nowhere on its website does it allow you to cancel your account. They make you jump through multiple hoops, including chatting with a representative who tries to upsell. After five offers and when you finally threaten to report them to the Better Business Bureau then they will send an email with a cancellation link, the email never comes and they tell you to look in the spam folder. It finally arrived in a spam folder and is unclickable until you transfer it to your safe email. Think twice before you download this absolute con. Sadly, it’s standard operating procedure. Keep the customer farting around until they get sick of it and then charge their credit card again. Apple should reconsider this company.

Horrible Customer Service

TotalAdblock has really poor customer service, I had an issue where I was using the free trial and it hadn’t activated for over 24 hours meaning I lost a whole day of the trial and still couldn’t use the service. I went to contact support which they said they’d transfer me to technical support (they didn’t) after ten minutes I asked if they were still doing it to which they finally did and then the guy they transferred me to was no help and he ended the chat with me because I didn’t respond within five minutes of him asking me for details and then after going back in to try support again they just wouldn’t respond to me at all even though I was in a chat with an agent and I was actively typing to them.

Rip-off DON’T BUY

I am currently trying to cancel my subscription and cannot find any phone number to contact someone to cancel subscription. I clicked the link in original order confirmation that said it was to cancel account. I sent the email, got an automated response that the email address is not monitored with another link for customer support. In the categories listed, NONE for cancellation or a phone number. I’m contacting Apple to help me w/ this issue. I see now why some app developers didn’t want billing to go through Apple. They want to be able to scam you out of your money and make it next to impossible to cancel. From now on, I will only deal w/ apps who allow billing and cancellations to be handled by Apple.

I’ve re downloaded TotalAdblock several times. I still get ads EVERYWHERE. I’ve tried to cancel this and I’m still being charged. I sent an email from my iPhone as instructed on a page to unaubacrib, several months ago!!! What else can I do to UNSUBSCRIBE??? Fixed income and can’t continue to pay for so many ads anyway!! No ad blocker apps really do enough without paying more…. Back again!! Still can’t get it cancelled. Funny how developers jump on here to “fix” thing but not this!! Thief’s!! Do not get

It doesn’t block any ads on your phone at all. Ittells your subscription information to change is available in itunes. That makes no sense since itunes is music and media not apps. I checked my subscriptions through apple and there are none. Found it that because I paid with paypal that Apple has nothing to do with the subscription. Took me over a month to get the support part of TotalAdblock to get me into a chat. Where after telling them i want it all cancelled they tell me all about the features. This is a complete scam. They take your money and only way to stop is to block or cancel card payment is linked to then they close your acc.

Run far run fast

Just say no to these crooks. I was unable to find any difference between before and after installation. There was no change in the number or type of ads on my system. I notified the customer service reps and was sent from one “help” link to another. I am waiting for the next link to no where as they haven’t responded to my emails with anything more than a “not this office” link. All within the introductory period. I believe this is a dishonest group of folks or even just one person that thinks they are clever. Just don’t get sucked in. They don’t deliver but I can’t give them a negative star score.

I do NOT recommend TotalAdblock. I did not realize that I signed up for a reoccurring monthly charge. Once I noticed the charges on my account, I had to re-download TotalAdblock to find information on how to cancel. The information is not easily found in the provided options. I had to go to Terms and Conditions and select Cancel. I was then routed to a chat service where the agent continued to try and provide new or lesser services and would not provide me the information to cancel. I had to threaten to report the company and provide a review (negative) of my experience with their product/service before the agent agreed to cancel my subscription.

My Last Hope

I really thought TotalAdblock was going to be a five star app, but unfortunately it turned out that I have had to remove it and reinstall it several times in order to get it to work properly, and still I can’t get the VPN to work or even get it to work in Real Time. TotalAdblock was my last hope as I have a cyber stalker that just won’t quit. My accounts have been compromised with TotalAdblock running. So I’ve given it two stars because some of the features work when I can get TotalAdblock to stay on. But really a one star app for me.

Advertised for $2.99 charged me $119

I guess I used the trial version. Per their own site, they are required to notify you of your trial’s termination and offer you a subscription. But that didn’t happen. Total Adblock is garbage. It doesn’t work and they run you around despite language about their refund policy

“ If you do choose to cancel your account within thirty (30) or fourteen (14) days (as the case may be) of registering for or renewing your Services and additional services, you will receive a full refund of the payment made when you request a refund.”

If I need to call the BBB or FTC to get my refund, so be it.

NO CONTACT INFO

I was charged $9.95 for a service I never requested. Initially it said for $2.99 a month because of a special but I never upgraded. I have a screen shot showing this is a free account. I did not want your service because at the last minute I did not feel secure enough to provide you the access you required in order for your app to work.

Now I’m being charged? This is ridiculous and you have no links anywhere on TotalAdblock to connect up to support. Not even a phone number.

I am calling my bank and placing a block on your company to void any fraudulent payment requests going forward.

Do not get you will be repeatedly charged even when cancelled

App does not do anything what it says it should do, and I canceled way back before march of this year and I have been charged three times a month since. I have not gotten any response from TotalAdblock and am waiting to hear from apple about insufficient funds they keep charging me for TotalAdblock I do not have . It is a SCAM!!!!! I’m already in process of clearing my credit from past fraud charges with a law firm and it’s like a revolving door , I clean up my other issues just like this and now this pops up . If this is not cleared up by this company and made right I will add them to my attorneys list of bad businesses and have them deal with them . They won’t cancel my subscription

Just don’t get TotalAdblock. Back in May, I reached out to their support team after filling out a cancelation request form. I explained I had issues with TotalAdblock actually blocking anything in Safari, that I followed directions on their site. I received an email telling me to make sure I’m using Safari. I reiterated what I said before and asked them to cancel. I received an automated reply stating someone will respond and not to send multiple replies since it would delay a response. Well, I didn’t write back after that as that indicated to me someone would get back to me. I waited. Never got a follow up e-mail.

I’ve never seen an app with so many bad reviews, people mislead newcomers with 5star reviews to get their attention that youre app is a complete scam and you yourself are thieves who make it impossible to get a refund. Add the description of your purchase steps; purchasing every perk separately till you get to the end and find you’re paying $80+. I think I’ll wholeheartedly avoid you. To the unwary newer-comer, read all the reviews there’s no good ones with a decent description. Only paragraphs you’ll find are complaints about this obvious scam. 5 stars to get TotalAdblock removed.

i don’t usually write reviews on things but this experience was so annoying i just had to do it. i needed an adblocker for just a little while and decided to use TotalAdblock. after i no longer needed TotalAdblock i decided to end my subscription but i couldn’t figure it out and so decided to reach out via email to these ppl. we went back and fourth with them trying to sell me TotalAdblock until the agreed to cancel my subscription. however, come the next month i was charged $10 for a service i didn’t need. i emailed them about it thinking it was an honest mistake and they didn’t respond. come another month and i’m charged yet again for a service i am not using. at this point i’m frustrated and still haven’t heard back from them. i ended up figuring out how to cancel it myself through a browser instead. there was 0 support or guidance and they quite literally stole money from me. their service wasn’t even that good and i’m sure you could find better anywhere. i don’t recommend them at all just cause of how difficult they made this situation

Zero review I paid the $1.99 they took it out of my account. During the set up process they tried to get me to sign up for more expensive plan. I turned them all down . Never make to set up my account so now that I am requesting a refund they cannot verify my account. Now they are saying cannot cancel because the account was free. My bank says otherwise. I have taken snap shots of all the different reasons for not being able to cancel. From no internet connection I am on 5 g so that’s not true. It says no account, cannot connect because of no internet, oh and this one a problem has occurred with our system , please try again later. I am almost 40 mins in . Not sure what they mean by later. This Company Will Never Stop Billing You and Drafting Auto-Payments

I was disappointed with the performance of TotalAdblock and requested a cancellation of my subscription from the apps company. Instead of cancelling my subscription as I requested, they sent me an email saying they were sorry that I didn't like their app and that I should contact them for help with TotalAdblock but never cancelled direct billing my card for auto-payments. I again requested cancellation of my subscription but they failed to respond and continued to direct bill me and draft auto-payments. I had my card cancelled but the company then reached out to Apple for my new card number and continued to take money from my account. This is apparently something UK companies can get away with with their off-shore customers because Apple is of no help, at least not at the moment. AVOID TotalAdblock AND ITS COMPANY.

ITS ACTUALLY SO GOOD

Ok so I just got it and I paid for like the yearly subscription. It is so good though. I wanted to go on a website but EVERYTIME I pressed anywhere it would take me to another page and it was so annoying. I got this and now no ads. At all. From any websites. So when you read the review by ad blocker, they make it sound effortlessly simple to install

Between their pop-ups selling you upgraded versions of what you already thought you were buying with at least four opportunities to upgrade and flipping between Apple Store download and link in Ad Blocker, confusing
You only have two options to pay; Apple pay and PayPal. Once finally done you don’t get a confirmation email to say hey you’re all good at it is working exactly in this moment.
The reviews a read about pathetic customer service, will be interesting with a seven day free trial stops and rules to the if I’m unhappy, how easy it will be to cancel with 100% refund

Fairly Decent Service

I purchased this software tool back in the summer of last year around about July and I really liked it and thought that it made a huge difference and helped my webpages to load faster. I appreciate the huge 80% discount that I received to try the product initially the first time and to receive it again to return. My only suggestion would be to have one pop up that includes all service offerings instead of having them separate for users to click through because it will come off as the business trying to get more money out of the customer and that Is the easiest way I believe these days to lose the customer all together.

I always say if you get one your in the running for potential long-term commitment if you do a great job with getting the customer to understand the initial offering, how to use it properly and how they can monitor and witness tracked changes of their systems or personal development over a span of time.

Walk away while you can!

This has by far been the most frustrating ap experience I have ever encountered. So first of all, this ap doesn’t work, whatsoever. Then when I attempt to cancel the ap, it doesn’t even show up under my subscriptions. Therefore, I attempted many times to contact these scam artists to ask that my subscription be cancelled. I have yet to be able to contact anyone and they won’t respond to my messages I send. I am so angry and to top it all off, they charged me $29 last month and $39 this month!! A complete scam that I can’t get rid of. I finally reported the fraud to my bank and I’m hopeful that this will end. However, I reported it a week ago and it’s still on my phone!! These are horrible people, so do yourself a favor and walk away.

Total Adblock has access to my YouTube site but ads are NOT being blocked before songs on my playlists start playing -- On my His Story Drama playlist of 12 songs there are only 3 songs that do not have any ads before the songs play. This situation needs to be corrected ASAP!!!

When are you going to refund my money? It seems from reviews that you don't refund money owed, why is that? Do you think it's fair the day after a subscription is canceled that you don't refund what has been paid? Do I need to open a dispute with my bank account? according to my PayPal account I made many payments to you, over a year, but have not been able to activate your service as you keep saying I have to download a certificate, what for? your supposed to provide a simple service which you have not. so I have now cancelled my direct debit .
