so far so good . i love this game , it’d be 10x better with controller support on ios …
idk if it’s the update of the game or the fact i have ios 15.0.1 but the game loads and freezes on the start menu ☹️🥺😭
I like the game in general, unique bosses, things to do in a map, variety pf weapons. But one thing that annoys me the most is that you cannot dodge or move away when attacking and get hit. With a lot of enemies in one room and no way players can defend themselves? That’s suckkk
As far as mobile games go, this one is perfectly fine. It feels like an actual game instead of a platform designed specifically to monetize every single little thing they can.
That said, I do think it could use some improvements, mainly to the controls. The controls work, but I would like to see more control methods added, because having to stop to shoot in a game like this doesn’t always work, and can sometimes be frustrating. Otherwise, a few small tweaks to the UI and perhaps more graphical options would vastly improve the experience.
Overall, not bad, just needs a few tweaks.
Raspberry Mash is from what I’ve experienced, a mix of Enter the Gungeon and Dead Cells; both of which are great action roguelike games with meta progression. I do highly recommend giving this game a try, especially if you have tried Soul Knight, Otherworld Legends or Juicy Realm. There is a current bug with mana, which is the energy required to play the game, to not recover and the sole reason why I have given this review a 4/5. This game is also on Steam if you prefer to grab the game on PC without any of the mobile version’s interferences.
So far love the game it’s fun and the art is nice but when I’m doing a melee combo it’s extremely difficult to dodge incoming ranged attacks because the dodge button won’t work during a melee attack. This causes me take a lot of damage sometimes without me being able to do anything about it. I don’t know if this was intentional or not but if it was then I guess I just need to get better.
I cant play it offline
Love it. But there’s a fatal bug that sometimes the character stuck in place and can’t move or do anything at all. Died couple times because of it
Awesome game!
PS:Hint for anyone wondering why dodgeroll doesn’t work. You have to wait to find a script in one of the dungeons to unlock the dodge maneuver. I thought the button was broken 😂.
This game is pretty good game just some issues that one time i lost my data because the game was black screen when ever i open it and then deleted and reinstalled it, But even tho it still a pretty game that you can play it in your free time,
Please don't tell me that there is no continuo of the game, the end for me was like “To be continuo” so can’t wait for the other parts of the story
This game is great and I love it
You can't get away from comparing Raspberry Mash to Soul Knight, as it is so clearly inspired by it. The key differences however, are enough to make the experience fresh.
Where Soul Knight emphasizes a more circular gaming experience, Raspberry Mash follows a linear storyline and with it a more decompressed upgrading system, allowing you to incrementally upgrade a wide variety of factors. This means the player can emphasize a particular aspect—long range attacks for example, and make it their focus as to suit their own strategies.
Raspberry Mash is also much simpler in that there's only one playable character. This leaves the player free to focus their efforts on the dizzying kaleidoscope of weapons and magical buffs to experiment with. Each of those weapons, mind you, carrying their own set of stat-altering features to consider.
This broad menu of bizarre weaponry is also key to RM's replayability. Once the player completes the storyline, a wide category of upgrades remain intact, giving the player the thrill of exponentially increasing power with each playthrough.
All this for no cost. The ads are also optional and are attached to in-game benefits that make it worth watching more often than not. A less bitter pill to swallow.
For some, the mechanics that make Raspberry Mash distinct from its predecessors may rub players the wrong way at first. It took a few rounds of upgrades before I got comfortable with RM's primary distinction: auto-attack as the only fighting option. This truly changes the way the player develops a winning strategy, and it may prove a turn off to others. Give it a chance to sink in. Worth it.
Like soul night but it’s good 👍
The controlling was difficult to get used to at first, fun weapons, fun map, you should add some hints to get the heart to unlock the final boss
Best thing since, Enter the Gungeon!!!!
It reminds of soul knight and enter the gungeon in one game. That’s all that needs to be said
This is right up there with Soul Knight. So good. The melee combat is unbelievably good. Killer roguelite! The weapons/ upgrade system is second to none. Can’t put it down!
This is the best rogue like action game I've played. Great illustration and weaponry.
Good character and enemy design.
A couple things I find very annoying though, is the use of the flash bomb and health potion. I have to tap and hold to use either one but sometimes they won't use.
It would be simpler if you could just tap once to use the item.
the other annoyance is the dodge button.
It won't work while I'm attacking. Only when I'm done with a combo attack will the dodge roll work.
Love this game but for some reason the mana won’t recharge at all used up all 5 mana yesterday and it’s supposed to recharge 1 per hour but it’s been sitting all night and still says 0/5 35 min till charge. Needs to be fixed.
I swear this is just like a game I loved from years back “soul” something or another…
Anyway talk about excellent combat mechanics for iOS definitely worth a try if you like something fast paced, satisfying and occasionally intense.
If you are the same developer of that other game it makes sense why this one works! Keep it up and stay classy
