I paid but didn’t get any route map and info. Don’t waste your money.

DrivingTestRoutes is terrible in every way.

First, DrivingTestRoutes itself doesn’t function properly. To start a route, you need to be extremely close to the DMV starting point, but I only have time to practice on weekends, and the DMV is closed on those days. There’s no place nearby to park.

Additionally, the route crashed multiple times right in the middle of navigation, leaving me stranded somewhere in the city.

Second, and even worse, is that the purchases in DrivingTestRoutes are pure deception and theft. Let’s skip over the fact that each purchase is already expensive—$10 per city, and it’s supposedly for a month, though, as it turns out, it’s not even a full month!

I bought routes for two cities—the first on October 29 and the second on November 22. On November 29, my subscription for the first city ended, but along with it, I lost access to the second city as well! So, I paid $10 for just one week of use. Now, if I want to continue using it for the remainder of the month I paid for, I have to pay another $10!

How else can this be described other than deception and theft?

Don’t bother buying this. Inaccurate. Both routes say turn right, I was told turn left. End of story. Passed.

DrivingTestRoutes is actually useless and dangerous. Apple should ban DrivingTestRoutes from the store. On several attempts at both Daly City and San Francisco routes DrivingTestRoutes fails to initiate properly leaving the instructor trying to navigate manually and thus unable to focus on the teens driving. The inability to start a route when you are more than 25 yards from the green dot is pathetic.

Worse still though DrivingTestRoutes gives ILLEGAL turns to make. For example slow streets in SF and a left turn at a NO LEFT TURN in Daly City.

I wasted 40 bucks between buying two routes for 2 months subscription. Many of the so called test routes are not actually even legitimate DMV routes according to my sons professional instructor.

If I could have given this zero stars I would have.

Don’t waste your money! The maps were so far off that it included closed roads, local traffic only roads and circles.

DrivingTestRoutes had us going to multiple dead ends which had us getting off course.

I turned DrivingTestRoutes near DMV and the navigation does not work well. Also the courses don’t seem matched to the actual test routes at all. Don’t buy. (I am in California LA)

I bought DrivingTestRoutes for $10. I drove the 4 routes with my daughter for 3 days. Not ONE of the routes was on the test. Waste of money. The reason I know she didn’t take any of the routes was because I followed her on the Life 360 app.

Once I was at the site, I pressed on all routes and the gps kept saying I was at my destination. I thought DrivingTestRoutes was supposed to guide you through the route they test at or something but I didn’t get anything out of it. Unfortunately.

This review is for Scotland. I purchased DrivingTestRoutes ahead of my driving test. It had seven routes. I drove each route 2 to 3 times and had pretty good confidence about my test. However, the route I was taken on was definitely NOT from any of the routes on DrivingTestRoutes. So it’s great for practicing, but you don’t need an app to do that! If you’re looking for the real routes, I’m not sure it exists here.

I downloaded it for the behind the wheel test in San Francisco. I failed the first test, so I expected to have a practice by this application, but neither routs aren’t current.

The routes is not same as in real test, they different. Good to know nearly what to expect in exam but not correct . For 10$ for one DMV route which is not correct I would say it doesn’t make sense.

Needs Vacaville routes but a good resource

DrivingTestRoutes was very helpful. I had no idea this was available. Very glad to find it and was just what we needed.

DrivingTestRoutes has been a lifesaver as our DMV appointment had changed locations unexpectedly the week before my daughters appointment. Customer service was great at getting us routes the week of so we could practice for the new testing location.

Routes are accurate and super easy to follow. Will refer to other parents whose teenagers are taking tests and you will have a repeat customer in myself as I have two more of my kids that will be using DrivingTestRoutes in the near future. Worth the money in every way!
