When you first start playing it’s pretty fun but slowly they make it so you have to constantly make purchases in order to improve and be competitive. Your equipment & all the many tennis skills (over a dozen) need to be upgraded/leveled up but they cost too much. If you win a competition you only win 30 coins yet each of the different items/skills cost THOUSANDS of coins EACH to upgrade & the upgrade cost continues growing by 1,000+ coins each new level. TennisArena only gives 0-30 free coins a day!!! I have a few games I like to play and I buy in app purchases in all of them but TennisArena is ridiculous and an obvious money grab. I’m sure there are other tennis apps that won’t cost $30+ dollars each time you want to level up and improve your skills/equipment.

Great game but it steals from you. You buy 10 boosts and you get to use 4 at most before theyre all gone. As illegal as it gets.

They say its player vs player but youre playing 99% bots. The beginning of the game is beyond easy but as you get further your upgrades are meaningless. You can have more speed then the bot but theyll get to everything while you can get to a ball 2 inches next to you. Shot accuracy: im convinced its random. You can have 85% of the circle inbounds and it will go out and then you can have 85% of the circle out and it will go in. The same swipe is changes from game to game. Serve: when serving to the right its an automatic ace and beyond pointless. If you also have little stamina the players arms must be dead bc you cant even try to return it. Tournaments: useless and pointless. Take them out of the game. Challenges: none. What game doesnt have challenges? What should be the best mobile tennis game, pretends to be great when you first start until you see all the irritating flaws. The only update this game has ever gotten is different camera angles when you hit a winner or the opposing bot hits it out. Dont waste your time or money (never pay these devs for any game. Theyre just cash grabs) w this game.

The game is great but unfortunately I wouldn’t bother playing it. There are a bunch of players who don’t learn how to return serves and they just play way back. This takes the fun out of it for ones who can serve and know how to return serves. I would give it a five star if this is fixed. I suggest more difficulty playing on short serves when playing way back. Right now they can still reach them. Update absolutely nothing has been done about this and I have deleted the game. I was the best, period but the only way people can handle me is to play this wimpy style of play. This is a game of jerks!

I have played every tennis app on the iPhone, and find the controls on this really annoying.
Perhaps if you are willing to put up with the majority of your shots going out by a hair, you get to upgrade your accuracy from negative numbers to zero;
However, losing to people who are just dinking the ball over the net because you shot regularly go just long is maddening.
Sorry, I know how to play video game tennis, there are issues with this software, hopefully a major update will happen SOON to address the control problem. Till then DELETE

This game is fantastic to play. However at various times the Computer opponent becomes unrealistically unbeatable. Everything you have done to win before suddenly stops working. Your great unreturnable shots are suddenly returned. It is quite obvious that these sudden surges in the abilities of your opponents occur to cause you to spend more money in boosting your skills. I love this game but I have spent enough already.

This is a great game with some very serious flaws. On numerous occasions, after I’ve won a tournament, it shows me as coming in 2nd place. This is quite annoying as you obviously receive higher points when you come in 1st. I’ve been playing for months and no matter how many updates come out, this bug is never fixed.

Graphics are great, realistic and fluid end entertaining with some wild shot capabilities. Recognize some of the trademark gestures from players in Helium’s 20’s tennis game. Vertical view is creative with a tilted viewing angle, good balance between zoom level and field of view.

But…couldn’t quite get the hang of the ball control. Part of it may be me being left-handed whereas my player is not so I’m always pointing in the “shadow” of my player, I don’t see the racket hand. But also, I found it difficult to reliably place and pace the ball with the combo of speed swipe and land area indicator.

But, but…seems like I’d be playing for a very long time to reach all the way up to level 500 with not many milestones in the way other than accumulating more levels. Maybe more time-limited events are coming….

This game is very addicting. Fun to play and graphics are decent. I have not spent a dollar on this game yet and have managed to get to the champions level which is around 3000 points. Once you get to the champions level and you still have not spent any money, it is blatantly obvious that you are playing against computer players, and not online players. You consistently lose and your player runs like he has lead weights in his shoes. Ultimately, this game is just like the rest, spend money, see little results and then spend more money. Over it

If you don’t spend actual money, you will not be fast enough, you will hit it out of bounds way more often then you hit it in, you won’t be able to hit as hard. You can tell when your opponent has paid actual money. I wish they would just charge a fee to play. I would pay that but I am not going to be nickel and dime to death to run faster or hit harder or just to hit the ball in bounds. Doesn’t matter how hard I hit or how soft. 9 times out if 10, the ball goes out. It could be a perfect game, but it is not. I will not pay money for every action needed to play a good game of tennis.

by far the best tennis game in TennisArena Store. don’t waste your money or your time on that other cartoon game. The mechanics and physics are very realistic. sound play is fine and the graphics are smooth.

my only slight ding is that they should make upgrades come more frequently.

i’ve been playing for over a week now and haven’t been able to upgrade anything despite winning.

Maybe I haven't played far enough into the game yet but if there were teams, that would be a good addition. but a very solid entry and the best tennis game like I said

Only 4 Stars cause the players can’t move fast enough and the whole game play feels slow tbh. I could see this game getting lil bit better but it might be a while. Faster movement and faster ball play is really all this game needs

This game is amazing. I have played other tennis games, but this here is by far my favorite. I can play for hours and not get bored. There are tournaments that you can join that really simulate how tennis really is. It is a little strange that you play “first to 10 points” on regular play and “first to 7” in tournaments, but it is still fun. I would give it five stars if they changed the scoring system to how it actually works. It would make the games longer, but more enjoyable in my opinion. The only two downsides I can think of is that you have a limited number of times to change your name (I believe, but this isn’t a big deal for me) and the highlights. The highlights need to be fixed. You will play a game and have one point that was just awesome and exhilarating, but at the end of the match it doesn’t appear in the highlight reel. The highlights just pick two random moments in the match and throw in half of the last point. It really takes the enjoyment out of the game. I would like to be able to either watch the full match back and skip to the point i’m looking for, or I would need the highlight reel picking system to be updated to a better form.

Game is so fun to play and I have worked my way up to the champions league. Here’s the thing though. I practice my game A LOT with the coach to get my shots down.

But when, for instance, I go to hit a power shot in a league game against live competition and I have my opponent on the other side of the court and dead to rights, it’ll come off my racket very softly, giving my opponent time to recover. It’s super frustrating. Sometimes I feel like this game is rigged in this regard.

I know that I have my power shot or lob, etc., correct as I’ve practiced and played this game a great deal and in most of these instances my stamina is high so I don’t know why my shot is incorrect.
Then there is the opponents that have “warp speed” around the court. It’s hilarious and so not based in reality.

Still fun to play and I certainly win a lot but I can’t help but feel that something is *off* in certain matches when it comes to my shot being soft when I’ve clearly hit a power shot.
If this continues to happen I have plenty of other fun games to play on my phone, including Apple Arcade games where I don’t have to sit through a million adds to get more points in order to get better in the game without having to spend a lot of money, and I have spent money on the game as well.

If they can fix this issue, assuming it’s a bug and not rigged or a feature of the game then I’ll revise my review to 5 stars. As it is I’ll give it 3 stars for now.

Your platform is definitely on target in giving this game as close to realistic play as one could develop. The complaints of those serving drop serves is a cop out. You need to move up quickly and cut down over the net or lob high to set up for a pass. You do need to purchase to get nice speed on serve and power, but definitely not even close to what you have to spend on Tennis Clash. And that is enjoyable but frustrating when you clearly have a cross court shot advantage and it gets held up because your opponent has a high agility ratio…it looks ridiculous as the ball just hangs off its apex. Yes would be good to have some ability to converse with the opponent like Clash, but thats your decision and further development. I’m split ..but leaning towards you guys on close to perfection and purity of the game.

The game is fairly great once you get the hang of it but the only issue I have with this game is that you win all these cards to enhance your player/equipment but not enough money. As soon as you win a match or tournament it's nowhere near enough to cover the upgrade. Upgrades went from 50 to 100 to 200 and shot up to 500...

Please make these features where we can add friends and play with my friends. I want to see their stats, tournaments they have won (trophy displayed), etc. Adding these features would definitely improve the game popularity, entertainment, and competitiveness. Looking forward!!!!

This tennis game is well made. I’ve tried all of the other games and most of them are just to frustrating to really enjoy. Poor controls with other tennis games is my main issue. It’s not easy by any means but if your patient you get better pretty fast. Tennis Arena is a lot of fun and in my opinion the best Mobile tennis game at TennisArena Store.

This brings back memories of my undefeated high school career. This is the most true to life game that makes me feel like I'm on the court again. You must play for a few hours to get hang of it. But if you're competitive like me, this will get your juices going playing against players from all over the world. Enjoy!

I’m having a problem with after I win a match and watch an advertisement to double my coins, after a couple wins on a row, the game freezes and doesn’t allow me to get my coins after I watch their advertisement…. I left the game on all night to check it and it stayed loading….

I have tried many tennis games but this one is by far the best compared to tennis clash I feel like this game is better because of the fast time you can find an opponent and the gameplay of this game. The highlights and the review are very good. After hitting a good shot there’s also an instant replay. Keep it up!!! 💯

A lot of other tennis games use the same system of aiming with the ball and it landing in the circle. However, with this game it takes account movement. Other game I’ve played in the past make the players so fast and able to return cross court shots so easily. This game implements stamina, lunging and falling, and a slower movement system. This makes the game 2 times more difficult but 2 times more fun. Would definitely recommend!

Really fun game! This game is more realistic than all the other tennis games I've tried on TennisArena store. You can slice, lob, volley and create strong groundstrokes. And functionality is simple too. This game really allows you to construct your points like in a tennis match. Highly recommend this game for any tennis fanatic!

So realistic as if I were on my Xbox, Keep making games like this and I’ll have no other choice but to spend money on a great phone game with adds tht don’t last long. I recommend it for everyone who love the competition of Tennis. Again to the Developer GREAT GRAPHICS AND PLAY!

If you’re going to play sports like football or basketball it’s not the best on a phone. Golf was really good but THIS one right here has it figured out. Great controls. Online 1 v 1. Amazing gameplay. Looking forward to outfits and game chat.

This game is quite fun and is great to play in short sessions. But the game has some flaws. For example it's really annoying when you have enough card to upgrade a skill but not enough coins so you have to watch a TON of ads. And second I dislike the timer when serving against the coach. I mean, YOUR PLAYING AN AI HE DOESN'T HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE so that it. But great tennis game! 🎾

Tips: Add a feature where it automatically smashes if you lose REALLY bad and maybe add sliding to make it more realistic

I played another tennis game that was fun but charged a ridiculous weekly amount and was full of hackers and trash talkers. I’m still feeling this out for game pass, but so far, the mechanics are much better and realistic.

I always look out for a good tennis games to play. For me it needs to give me the joy of making winners and be fun at the same time and this game has all the aspects to enjoy. It doesn’t have the best graphics or player expressions need improvement. Overall, very few tennis games brings you fun without getting too complicated with shots and graphics. This is the right balance of complexity and fun for a mood lifting tennis game.

I’ve been playing a few tennis games on my phone for a bit now before coming across this one and I have to say I’m quite impressed with the quality of this game. It feels realistic allowing you to use real tennis IQ in your gameplay, the graphics are nice, and controls are really simple. Definitely worth giving it a try.

I’ve never had that much fun in a Tennis game since Top Spin 4 on the Xbox 360, I always ignored Tennis games on mobile because of the graphics and movements, but this one really surprised me. Nadal forehand , federer backhand , this game is a must if you’re a Tennis fan. Only thing I would like to see is the ability to add Friends and play against them in some sort of a friendly match , and also 2v2 games would be awesome

I’m an avid tennis player and this has a more realistic feel than most of the other swipe and score type tennis games. Enjoying it so far. I’m only about 7 matches in but it’s worth the download for sure.

Don’t play a lot of games but this one’s got me hooked. If you don’t have fun and complain about this one, your spoiled rotten and it’s guaranteed you get everything you have from… not gonna say it cause you already know…. Tell me I’m wrong..lol…

The BEST online tennis game! I love that I can create my own player and assigned my country flay to my character. The sounds of the ball off my racket is quite beautiful and the animation and graphics are a genius! This game doesn’t get any authentic than this! Well done developers!
