You have to pay in Zigzag

I was setting up my account and everything was going smooth until it asked for the dog breed so I searched in the search bar German Shepherd it was telling me it was unavailable or to reword or spell it differently tho it was spelled correctly i even looked up Shepherd dogs and the breed name Alsatian nothing showed up. I don’t know what I’m supposed to put in the search bar to find my dog breed and honestly it’s just kind of irritated me. This is unnecessary.

Last update doesn’t let you open Zigzag

I got Zigzag to try and was told there was a 7 day window before being charged. It also said I would get a notification before being charged. Y’all I have a brand new puppy. I’m not sleeping through the night, I’m trying to remember to take the puppy out to pee and read all the thing. I needed that notification to jog my memory.

This might be a great app, but I ultimately had decided to go with something else and am frustrated that I was charged without the notification I was supposed to get. It’s also nearly impossible to find a customer service link, hence this review instead of going through customer service.

Bummed I have to give this kind of review to hopefully get some help to solve the situation.

Zigzag has no logout feature and regularly forgets we have premium, so I have to delete and redownload since my “this app” account is tied to my wife’s apple ID and I can’t restore purchases. The real sell here for us was being able to coordinate on training without talking but the tech is just too messed up

Downloaded Zigzag , completed the sign up, keeps bringing me back to the sign up page. So I closed it and tried reopening a few times, and each time I just get a white screen with the words Zig Zag. A waste.

I don’t feel this helps you anymore than joining free Facebook groups, or free information across the internet.

Yes this makes it convenient to have in one place, an app. But what is the price of that? I can compile everything into my Notes on my phone, without typing it all, and it’s worth my time to spend making a tutorial for free than spending $9.99 PER MONTH or $50 per year. When you realize how much treats cost at the grocery store or any store for your dog, or even simply put it, quality dog food, that I can spend that $50 much more wisely. I’d rather take my money and invest in an in-person socialization group.

We enjoyed training our pup for the first month having Zigzag. Then Zigzag lost all of our progress through “journey”. Having to go back and re-enter our progress was a waste of time because it lost the progress again. I cancelled the subscription and moved on. Look for better apps.

The latest update completely reset my profile and deleted all the progress I had made! Until then, it was very a helpful training guide as we started out with a new, six-week old puppy. The rating system after completing a lesson is really nice because it automatically adds practice sessions if you don’t feel like your pup has made enough progress yet.

Loved the content our pup breeder sent us, so downloaded Zigzag , created account etc. tried to login next day and didn’t recognize my info, tried twice to reset and never received a reset email. Also does not appear to interface with iPhone saved passwords.

I’ve done amazing progress and there are great resources that explain how your pets think. The only downside is that sometimes it does not load properly when opening and I cannot search articles because the search tool would no let me type and then it just crashes.

I think it’s a neat idea to have such good coaches for dog behavior and training, right at my fingertips!

I’m not going to give my dog paper toilet rolls even if I’m watching him. I won’t do any of those exercises. I will use a kong but not paper. I do like the other training exercises.

I have had dogs for several decades, but I still learned some useful ideas from Zigzag

I was messaging with the online training coach for advice on my 9 week old puppy after one of those days I felt like nothing was working. Heddie was so caring and helpful. She reassured me that I was doing the right things and reminded me that she’s a puppy and will do these things sometimes. She gave helpful tips to try specific to the issues I was experiencing. She really gave me peace of mind and confidence to work with my dog through the puppy stage!

I tried Zigzag searching for help on milestones and what to expect. I’ve raised puppies before and knew a whole lot but Zigzag even went above and beyond what I had learned 15 years ago. If you need help with new puppy, get Zigzag. It is worth the subscription for sure!

I’ve been using the Zig Zag app for training my puppy, and it’s fantastic! Emma, one of the coaches, was incredibly helpful and gave practical, straightforward advice that made a real difference. Zigzag itself is full of great information, but having access to expert coaching like Emma’s takes it to another level.

I have a 12 week old Dalmatian puppy! I love the way that this app teachers you to build a positive relationship with your puppy in small, doable ways. The 24/7 puppy coaches are unbelievable - they respond with encouraging, personalized advice within minutes. What a port in a puppy storm! I highly recommend this app!

Thankful for Zigzag. It has open my eyes and ears to be observant to my new puppy needs and wants. I have him as an support dog for my anxiety and depression. I want to be able to travel with me around the world. I want his life to be enjoyable also. Zigzag gave me hope in a long term friendship with my pup.

Really enjoying Zigzag . I like the AI and the articles that detail Lola’s breed and the history of dogs in general. The only minor issue, that I know is a work in progress, is the ai will sometimes repeat (if that’s the right term). Example, when I asked two different questions it gave same response for both. But the work around was to ask the question again. Not a big deal. The ai is what really sets it apart. Also happily surprised there are live coaches available. Very cool in case I have more acute situations. I’ll be using Zigzag for a long time.

I have an 11 week old Labrador puppy that I knew I would need to really work on training right away so she didn’t grow up to be a 60lb ill mannered dog. Zigzag has been so helpful with training, tips, insight and information. It has so many topics, and I really love that developmentally I can see where my pup is at, too. I have absolutely loved having Zigzag and it has helped out my dog and me tremendously!

I love Zigzag and the support you get. Pay once a year, very reasonable amount and you have all your google searches in one place, on a schedule to help you understand your pup and to be on track in training your pup for its best life.

Im very thankful for this all! First time having a puppy and it helps us understand his behavior, what he means to do and how we can train to what we expect from him as he matures.

Zigzag is incredible. They respond so fast to any question and it’s been a lifesaver with new puppy parent anxiety. Can’t thank you guys enough! The lessons are also great with easy examples.

My Doxie is learning how to navigate through puppyhood. But, more importantly I am learning how to communicate, keep learning fun and positive, remembering that I have to keep going back to the basics because they forget so quickly and not to be so hard on myself when it takes him longer to learn a specific cue. I’ve learned to watch his body language and responses to better understand how he learns. It’s a process, but well worth the effort and Zig Zag makes it easier and holds me accountable, too.

I am nearly finished with the 7-day free trial, and I will definitely purchase the yearly subscription. I’ve never had a puppy and don’t know much about appropriate training methods…but Zigzag has given me the guidance and confidence I need as a new puppy parent. The lessons are clear and succinct with both text and video. Access to live chat support from puppy coaches is the icing on the cake. And this live support is NOT generic! My coach’s reply was not only quick but also very specific to the context I provided in my question. Zigzag is the real deal! If you are on the fence, hop off and join the puppy training fun. Worth every penny! ♥️

I absolutely love this app. I used to be a vet tech and have used lots of training tools, but this one is by far the best. Very easy to understand and they don’t use any kind of punishment or pain for training, which is huge for me. Plus it’s fun. The coaches are awesome and most importantly it really really works. I would absolutely recommend Zigzag if you have a puppy. It’s been my life saver. Thank you guys!

I’m getting a Silken Windhound puppy so I just put him as a Borzoi. Theyre kind of similar in personality, but I still worry that I might get some inaccurate information because they aren’t the same. Zigzag is really well done. It breaks lessons up into manageable chunks and stresses the importance of knowing that things will not go perfectly all the time with your puppy. I just wish they had my dog’s breed!

Zigzag is absolutely amazing it helps my puppy so much. He has learned so many new tricks with in minutes I would definitely recommend Zigzag for puppy training.

Zigzag is such a great tool to leverage when bringing home a new puppy. Not only is it extremely user friendly but packed with information I didn’t even know I’d want to research about.

I have a black lab/Great Pyrenees mix that keeps me on my toes! Zigzag is so helpful with covering the basics and the ability to chat with a puppy expert 24/7 makes it more than worth the small price that they charge! The trainers are so knowledgeable and happy to help with whatever I need!

We have had our puppy for three days. I read blogs and visited websites for answers to questions and how to’s. But it wasn’t enough! Zigzag was on a site I visited and I am SO happy. I am validated on what I started doing on my own and with Zigzag, I am supported immediately!! It’s easy to use and no searching for how-to’s. Love it
