I am being to suspect that game developers are able to select the reviews they want shown. The more I play this game, the worse it gets. Right now it’s almost impossible to win the match part of the game, to earn points to be able to play the puzzle part of the game - which is worthless anyway because the game does everything for you - it’s not like an escape room where you have to find the clues, pick up items and put them where they go in order to move to the next room. The game points out where you need to go, picks up (& puts into inventory) what you need. None of that matters anyway because you spend such a huge amount of time playing the matching game for ONE (1) point per win - you only get to play the puzzle for a few minutes. This is huge Non-Squanch! That’s right! It’s Non-Squanch!!

I enjoyed some of the rooms and puzzles. Unfortunately the hint button is just far enough in the corner my palm would hit it quite often, wasting coins. But that was ok, since the add coin button was also located where you would constantly hit it whether you wanted to or not. That was frustrating. What was even more irritating is some levels you could do the same action a hundred times with no progress, then close the program and come back later, do the same exact thing and it would actually work. Once i got to the shoe store, i was DONE. Magnet constantly disappeared, couldnt get the compass to work. Finally get in the secret room and the maze with the flower was the last straw. Over 1/2 hr and multiple attempts, finally get near the end and spend 15 min trying to go the last inch? See you later. Done with this.

The puzzles are completely illogical, primarily based on random guessing. There are no instructions for any of the puzzles, so if you can’t figure it out you’re left to guess. The hint system is not very helpful at all, giving you vague or blatantly obvious clues. Of the countless puzzle games I’ve played, this one is definitely one of the worst. The storylines are corny and overly drawn out. I found myself mindlessly clicking through dialogues which were cheesy and unnecessary just to get to more frustrating puzzles that make no sense. If you play this game, be prepared to spend a lot of money, or watch hours of ads to be able to progress. Halfway through the second story, I gave up and deleted the game. It’s just to frustrating and make’s very little sense.

It’s a great game for thinkers but way too expensive! The puzzles aren’t intuitive. You have to pay double for hints: 1- to find the hint - even if you’ve found it already and 2- to actually “solve” the hint. Some of the clues are behind the hot spot button, so in order to retrieve evidence, you have to purchase. If you use a hint to solve a clue, they don’t show you the answer. It just closes out which is really frustrating if you’ve spent time trying to figure it out. If you leave the game, your progress is lost = MORE MONEY! I had to delete the game to prevent spending any more.

I know that writing this review is kind of like trying to stay dry with an umbrella whilst standing in Niagara Falls. But just in case you’re like me and was looking for an escape adventure game that didn’t involve horror, murder, or some creepy paranormal theme. If you you were wanting to do fun puzzles that were easy to navigate and didn’t mind to spend the time watching a video to get free coins or energy because you just can’t bring yourself to purchase imaginary coins you already “earned”, this was almost the game for you. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to the fact of me, being the type of person who doesn’t want the aforementioned murder, horror, or ghost stories,I’m also the type of person who doesn’t want to have pornographic images flash in front of my eyes while I wait for my free coins to download. Perhaps you would say “well then purchase the ad free option.” Naw, that’s ok. I was just looking to pass the time on a cold afternoon. I guess it’s a good reminder of what a waste of time games can be, and that there truly is no such thing as innocent fun anymore.

It’s weird because the developers have several social media marketing campaigns like they’re still invested in RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom but I downloaded it months ago and no levels have been added. It’s a fun game and definitely the most challenging of escape room apps out there. I would recommend playing but, at this time, limit how much real money you spend on coins because you’ll run out of levels and RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom will be useless after that point. Slow and steady play is the way to go until the developers remember RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom exists.

The game is fun. I was enjoying the story line. Unfortunately, the puzzles aren’t super intuitive. There’s no way to solve some without asking for a hint (or looking it up online.) Also, because the level completely starts over if the game closes, I’ve had to do puzzles multiple times to try and complete a level. I’m currently stuck in level 12 because a puzzle I had solved once before now will not solve, which keeps important items from me. As of right now, I may just give up on the game completely because I’m tired of doing the same level. This could just be me, but it seems as though some puzzles have an incorrect solution, such as the one with the straws and drinks. The actual answer makes no sense. I’ve messaged support. A quick response may alter my rating, as would bug fixes.

If you’re like me and love to be able to continuously play the game and don’t have money to spend on energy or coins this is not for you. You only have enough energy to play 3 levels and that’s only if you’re energy bar is full. It takes 15 minutes for just 1 energy which means if you’re at 0 energy it takes 12 and a half hours to get back fully filled. Like what? Could at least do 5 every 15 minutes or the option to earn your energy spent back by completing the level in a certain amount of time. It make me not want to play having to wait almost 4 hours just for enough energy to play one level.

I constantly find myself unable to click, enlarge, tap on certain things that are necessary for progressing. I need to restart RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom about 5-10 per level. It makes you go crazy because you know what you need to do but the game won’t allow it until you restart. I keep going crazy because the game is screwing up and I start to junk I’m doing something wrong, which I’m not. Terrible coders/builders who can’t get their app to work consistently. This is one of the only apps with this issue. Just feels like it’s a great idea and game but totally held back by very poor execution. Would love this game if it worked but deleted because of massive frustration.

Ok, I’ve been playing this game for a while, and I e never been stuck. I am in the music museum, and I cannot solve the guitar button puzzle. I looked up hints, but all it says is to hit the buttons for the upcoming buttons. I feel like I am doing that, but nothing works…just red xxx over and over. Therefore, I cannot get what I need to turn off the water and proceed. Also, the puzzle of records on the wall keeps resetting on me. I’ve solved it numerous times, and I have the record, but it often resets. I am unsure if this really matters, but it’s annoying. Any links to help on the puzzle would be appreciated.

Great gameplay and graphics, but the glitches ruin it for me. I’m stuck in the candy shop because of a glitch that won’t allow me to place the candy boxes with the circles in the correct order. It just glitches them all together in the same spot. Have tried numerous times using hints to bypass the glitch, but it won’t do it, and now I’m sick of watching ads to get coins for the hints. Bummer because it’s been a pretty good escape game otherwise. 5 stars if glitches are fixed.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve clicked on a spot labeled as a “hotspot” and nothing happened. No matter how many times I clicked on this one drawer and it wouldn’t open. I felt lost so I watched ads to get coins to show the hotspots and BOOM once I did that the drawer opened just fine. Little weird and broken in my opinion. Still a fun concept though… just wish you didn’t have to watch ads to do basic things.

The concept of the game is fun. It is a very challenging game! My biggest complaint is that I hit the hint button and got a clue. I’ve clicked everywhere trying to figure out where the clue was leading me and couldn’t find it. I hit the clue button again to get another clue and it gave me the same one again and took my coins again. Didn’t realize there was an icon next to it to reread the clue you got and hit the hint button again to reread the clue and got coins taken away again! So I paid for at least 3 hints and only got 1. And still can’t get through the stage. Now I’m going to have to either watch a buttload of ads or pay money to get enough coins to completely the level.

Overall the puzzles are very fun! I enjoy the games.
What I think needs to change:
Some puzzles are too janky/clunky to work on RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom. Especially puzzles where you need to slide small things. RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom struggles with this and makes solving the puzzle so difficult.
Another thing is sometimes when you need a hint, they force you to waste huge amounts of coins. The first clue you get is usually a hint as to what puzzle you should work on next, which I doubt people struggle with anyway. The second hint just circles the puzzle - completely and utterly useless and I believe they know it is, and just want to get you to waste coins so you have to buy more or watch ads. The third “hint” just solves that part of the puzzle for you, often without even an explanation. There are no good hints. Just too little and then too much.
Would be 5 stars if those 2 issues were fixed!

After a while of playing, the levels get harder which is ok, but the hints don’t help. I get the same hint over and over again if I leave the game and come back later so that’s a literal waste of coins. Once the levels take too much of my time I stop playing for a few days to a few weeks and then it’s the same thing all over again. I’m all for challenging games, but this is a bit much at times.

We should also get a choice to skip around and play other stories instead of having to beat the first story line in the mall.

I love the puzzle aspect of this game, mostly. There have been a few puzzles that even once I have the answer made little to no sense, but for the most part the puzzles are great. The story is kinda neither here nor there- like it doesn’t bother me but it doesn’t really add anything to the game. It doesn’t seem to matter and honestly I don’t care about it at all. Now the hints are the part that needs work. First, I think they are in the wrong order: they give you a clue first and if you ask for a new one, it just points to where you need to go. Maybe for some that is helpful but the clue for me already gives the spot away, so then I’m wasting coins on a hint I don’t need. I feel it should be the other way around- like first tell us where to focus and THEN the clue on how to solve it. Lastly, I don’t like that the last “clue” just solves the puzzle for you, well, it’s not the solution being done for me that is the problem, it’s just that most of them are done in a flash and then disappear! I want to know why/how that conclusion was made! I want to learn how it was done so I can keep it in mind for future puzzles. Please!

Overall, I generally enjoy the game and can’t wait to see more stages and chapters.

This is a fun and engaging “escape room” type game. Too bad you need 15 energy per level, it takes HOURS for the bar to fill up, and then you’re only at 50. So yay, you get to play 3 levels, which will maybe take 15 minutes. Do you like the game enough to shell out money for it? I did! I went to purchase energy, expecting maybe $3 for 200 energy, like many other energy-based phone games. No! It’s $2.50 for TWENTY FIVE energy. Not even two levels worth! lol good thing there are plenty of other great apps like this to try that don’t rob you blind.

Super fun brain teasers for a while but it gets to a point the puzzles make no sense so you have to buy coins to solve it and even when it gives you the answer it still doesn’t make sense. There’s several threads about it being a money grab after you’re hooked. Also it’s glitchy at points. You can touch the exact same spot 10 times and on the 11th time you pick something up. So that gets frustrating. So yeah fun for a few days but I’ll probably be deleting and moving on.

I love escape room games. I especially love when they’re challenging. But I do not love when they rely on random guesses and not logical processes. In all of the levels marked “really hard” more than one of the puzzles has such poorly assembled clues that I haven’t been able to connect anything in the environment of the level to that puzzle. Several times I have only progressed in the game because I literally tried 20 or more combinations or I watched a million ads to accrue enough coins to skip that puzzle. And the hints are the least helpful hints of any game I’ve ever played. They say things like, “Solve all the puzzles” and “It looks like you need colors to solve that puzzle”. These are not the hard parts of the game! What I need is a clue for how to solve the puzzles sometimes. Like, how do I narrow down what elements in the environment are actually part of the clue??? I find myself increasingly frustrated as I play this game.

I enjoy the game. I can figure out most of the puzzles on my own, or with the occasional hint. There are some very hard puzzles, and you can get hints for 100 coins each for two, then 300 coins for solution. That could cost you 500 coins if the first two hints aren’t enough to solve the puzzle. To replace those coins you can watch ads for 20 coins each. That’s 25 ads! But the game limits how many you can watch at one time. You get coins for each consecutive day you play which is nice, but the max is 70 for the seventh day and each day after. So, if you can’t solve a problem, it’s going to deplete your coins by 500. It takes a lot to recoup them. Two bugs have occurred in my game…..I had to spend 500 coins on hints and solution to a puzzle I had already solved. I was just trying to get a hint at where to go to next in the game. I did get reimbursed for those coins. Thank you for that. But, when I was watching an ad, to get coins, the ad froze and I couldn’t close it. I closed the game and returned to it several hours later and the ad was still there. I couldn’t close it, so in frustration, I deleted the game. I hated to do it, because for the most part, I enjoyed playing the game.

I really enjoy this game. However, I wish there was a better way to win coins and energy. I think it’s great that the energy refills over time but it takes all day to fill up & you can only play 3 puzzles because they cost 15 energy each & your bar only fills to 50 energy. As for the coins, the first 2 hints cost 100 coins each & the third costs 300 coins. You only earn 20 coins for watching an ad & 50 coins for beating a level. It would be nice to earn coins for completing achievements. And maybe up the amount of coins you get for watching an ad (which are not short) and get more coins for beating the levels.

This is really fun interactive game that’s full of challenges and really gets you thinking. One BIG problem is the ads sometimes doesn’t let you exit them forcing you to close RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom altogether and restart the whole entire level. I’m writing this as this is my FIFTH time having to close RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom out and restart again 😩 please I’m begging you to fix this and make it so we don’t have to absolutely restart the whole level! The levels take quite a while too and unless you are free for the next 30-45 minutes, it’s frustrating to have to restart it again.

On one of the levels, I was tapping like crazy on a towel and the towel wouldn’t budge, even though there was obviously something under it. I then used a hint and guess what? It told me to look under the towel, and all of the sudden I can lift the towel with just one press, even though I did that multiple times before in the same spot. A bit scummy of a move to do, but whatever. Overall not terrible, but the controls are really weird. You have to double tap to open things, and not all things open when you tap them, ruining a bit of the fun of escape rooms.

I’ve been addicted to this game recently and it’s fun to play! There are levels that I’ve tried to solve by clicking on items multiple times but it won’t work, as soon as I use a hint or click on a different clue I can suddenly click on it. I’m also stuck because I’ve completed levels up to 20 and cannot unlock anymore, not sure what I did wrong but I haven’t unlocked levels 7 & 9 and have level 25 completed. I’m confused about this but unsure how to unlock the rest of the game? Also at the beginning of the game I could only Chapter 2 levels and it’s all of the sudden locked.

I've played everything. It's fun and hard to complete sometimes BUT that's what you want. If it's too easy then you finish so fast and it's boring. You all should want a challenge. That's what these types of games are for. So stop complaining about it being "hard". Go watch some Barney if you are having troubles haha. It's meant to trick your brain and make you second guess things. I will say that waiting months for something to release is really annoying. I finished everything quite quickly and I've played many of the same genre of games. It does take time and effort to create these but something new should've came out by now.

I really like this game. The graphics are great and there are lots of rooms to get through; however, a lot of the actions don’t make sense and are very difficult to figure out. For example, using a coin to loosen screws is not something you would normally do. Putting a screwdriver in the scene to find would be better. Also, many of the puzzles or combinations are hard to understand where the answer comes from. Like when you provide 9 colors and there are only seven needed, it’s impossible to get it right without watching a video and getting the answers. I don’t want to watch a video but sometimes I can’t progress without it. How would I know to break glass with another object besides a hammer? How would I know to melt something with something other than steam or fire, not a putrid vegetable. The game is great, I just feel it could be better if the actions needed were more logical.

I’ve made it through all chapter 1 and most of chapter 2. I’ve been able to solve all the puzzles without using hints and have figured out the logic to all of them, even though a few seemed a bit odd and not straight forward.

But now I’m on chapter 2 level 22, master bedroom. There are 2 puzzles, the purses in the closet, and the orange and grey dot puzzle below the window, who’s clues just do t seem to make any sense. Both have a paper to clue you into the solution but I’ve tried interpreting it every way I can think of and nothing works.

I really don’t want to use the hint system and have it just outright solving it without knowing what the solution actually was.

So it’s a fun game, but can leave you stuck and frustrated if puzzles don’t make sense.

I think some of the puzzles are flawed…no reasonable solution. But only a few. I also don’t like spending coins so that the game can tell me where to solve a clue. Meaning, you push the clue button the first time, and it tells you the clue. The second time you push the clue button it points to the Item where you need to solve the clue. I already know where to solve the clue so it makes no sense to make someone spend coins for that. You should give a second clue instead of pointing to the item.

Love it. But some puzzles are impossible to figure out on your own. I’m also stuck on the same level forever. RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom love store level for me stumped and I went online to see what I was missing. It told me to find a cleaner in the cupboard and it’s no where to be found. I even tried restarting the game level to see if it would show up, hoping it was just a one time glitch. I cannot continue without it and it’s very frustrating. I want to play more but I can’t.

Very fun game when it is working but definitely some glitches to work out. Couldn’t move certain objects to where I needed to. The part with assembling the train was impossible. I had to use hints to have the game do it. Otherwise it’s fun. Hope the developers will consider saving progress in a level. I only played when I knew I could finish a level in one sitting.

Hi I’m Liliana I absolutely LOVE escape games this is my all time FAVORITE one so far out of all like what seems to be 1,000,000 games I have played. But I do sadly have a problem with the game there are very many levels there are games with legit over 200+ levels. So with me saying that I would give legit and I’m not trying to bride cause I would never do that because games take forever to get up and running, but I will like absolutely love to give a 5 star if you add in way more levels. I love this game that much.

I really enjoy this game as it is challenging and thought provoking. However, I have one problem. When I close RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom after starting a level, I must start over and unlock the level again, even if I previously unlocked it. So, I’m running through energy quickly and it takes a while to gain it back. I’m not sure if this is a bug or other people are experiencing this as well, but if this were patched I’d rate the game 5 stars!

I’m addicted to this game, but I’m giving a 4 in hopes that they will fix the main playing screen layout. Maybe I just have fat palms, but I can’t tell you how many times I have used my coins for a hint without meaning to not wanting to. At least if they would have a prompt that would ask if you want to use your coins for a clue before taking them. I just got an achievement for collecting 2500 coins and I literally only have 150 and about 22 wasted clues 😩

I’ve been playing this game off and on and have loved it but now with the new update when I go to play the new locations the items I need to pick up are surrounded by a black rectangle or I can’t see what it is I need to do because the screen is completely black. Idk if it’s just my game that has glitched or not but I hope it can be fixed soon.

As an intelligent woman in her 40s, I find this game very enjoyable. It is not too difficult, nor is it to simple. Thus the title of my review, Just right. My only complaint is that if you want to get rid of ads or you want extra energy you have to pay for it. I much prefer to pay $5-10 one time rather than the same amount any time I want a decent amount of energy.

I really like this game but the game will glitch and not allow me to click the items you need, so you’ll have to restart the level without your energy or coins recharging. And sometimes you’ll need to move a piece into place and it will skew really far off to the side so that your finger reaches the end of the phone and the piece is still all the way off to the side. Fix these bugs and the game is great

There are a wide variety of puzzles to figure out in each room. They get progressively harder as you go and it happens quickly. There are some puzzles where there isn’t quite enough information to move forward or at least point in the right direction so walkthroughs are helpful when you can find them. Though occasionally the walkthrough answer will be different than the right answer. I’ve run into issues where parts of the puzzle don’t work properly which is why I didn’t give 5 stars. If the bugs were worked out, that would be awesome. The cupboard in chapter two in the guest room doesn’t always work on the left side.

This game is super challenging and sometimes what you have to do doesn’t make sense. But mostly great at challenging your brain. The only complaint really is the hints aren’t super helpful. For instance in the print shop I clicked on hint and it just said those numbers on the mousepad look familiar. I already knew that but was unsure how to use the number. I clicked on hint again hoping for more info and all it did was circle the register. Again I knew the numbers had something to do with the register. So if you need help you have to find help online but most of the websites don’t tell you how but just give you the answers.

This is a super engaging game with 2 full game sets. Each set has over 20 levels. There are a couple of story lines if your interested, you can follow along, but mostly, you go from room to room, solving puzzles to escape each rom. The downsides: it’s a view from above style game with zoom ins, not quite 1st person, but the graphics are still really good, so they compensate for that. The puzzles are nice and challenging (and a few that I could never understand (translation issues?), so much so you’ll need the hints and or various walkthroughs to get you through. There are also a few bugs. A big one is on the smaller tablets(iPad mini) the 500pt view hotspot button ends up being right on top of a couple of actual action spots so the only way to complete the action (ie unscrew a grate corner), is to use 500pts to activate the hotspot view to get it out of your way - SUPER ANNOYING. The other one is that some of the ads bogg the system down and take forever to run (if your lucky) or crash the game altogether, losing all your changes for that level.

I really like this game. It’s a good brain tease without being impossible. My sibling and I compete completion times. My only issue I’ve had once I get into the “harder” levels, some of the puzzles don’t move (or combine or otherwise do what needs to happen to complete the puzzle) until you get 1-2 hints.
(Example I was playing the food court chapter and the white flowers would not move until after I got 2 hints. The pink ones moves fine but the white ones didn’t even show as an option. Same with the coffee cup, I couldn’t add the cream and cinnamon until after getting hints). Other than a few bugs like that it’s a really good game.

I really love the game and I really hope to play more. I finished all of the rooms so far and they really meant it when they say escape room. The cinematic thing, I’m sure were great but I will be honest, I skipped all of those because I just wanted to do the rooms but that is very unique. From the games that I’ve played before, I don’t think there was actually a storyline but there is one for this game. Will there be any more rooms coming? I would love to play more.

I haven’t been playing long but the 1st levels tutorial is really helpful. My only issue is there is a picture of a front page of a newspaper and it flashes too fast, so I’m not really sure of the story.

Challenging at times but solvable. Ads were a big issue almost uninstalled due to all the ads ~makes you not want to play at all but I did make a purchase now its gone so no ad problem. The game is fun and realistic nothing like other escape games I played . My only problem is having to wait so long for more levels to be added, other than that great job with this. I totally love the look and feel of this game to the point that I’ve started playing all over again til the new levels are added

I loaded the game due to all the positive reviews. However, I decided to purchase coins for hints. I paid $4.99 for 700 coins & I never received them. My card was charged. I sent a report via the site twice & have not received an answer. I will have to notify my bank to reverse the charges & will delete the game

Liked because you get different types of puzzles in each room. Great mix of easy to hard challenges in each room. Ads are your choice, I watched them for when I got stumped and for energy to progress game, also a couple of times I accidentally hit the hint button using up my coins, so watched some more 😊oh well! My only criticism is that after I paid for the final hint with coins from ads it did not show me how the answer was gotten or the solution, it just automatically completed the puzzle, leaving me puzzled on the answer. 🤔

I absolutely love this game. I love the concept and most of the puzzles are doable. I have had to hit the help button on occasion. I really like the fact that you don’t have to watch 30 second videos when you do require hints. The graphics are clear and I love the variety of rooms. Overall very pleased with this game I think the developers did a great job on this one

This is the best escape game I’ve found. I’m always looking for new ones to play and none of them have compared. It’s challenging and addictive.

The only issue I have is that once you get to the second level, the last 4 rooms say “coming soon”. When will they be available so I can finish the game??

I got this game the other day and I absolutely love it. I just hate how long it takes to get energy to play the next level. I don’t wanna sit here and watch three ads just to have enough to play one level I went to bed last night, and was excited to wake up and be able to play, but I didn’t have enough energy which doesn’t make sense because they assume that it’s supposed to collect even when the game is not open

I finally found a game that makes you think and take notes. I love that it’s not super easy. I’ve been stumped a few times so far while playing and “paid” for clues (with coins awarded while playing) - the clues help but still let you figure it out. This is the 1st game I’ve ever recommended to anyone. Yes, I highly recommend if you are looking for something challenging.

I really love this game is exciting it’s challenging. The graphics are great. The flow is great. Just like a true in person escape room experience the only drawback is they are major glitches and when you are spending your money and you can’t prove to the developers that there was a glitch in that your money was basically stolen…. but I recommend it it’s awesome. I just wish developers would really take a look at their game, especially when people are spending money on RoomsExitsPuzzleEscapeRoom. Thank you for your time.
