A good portion (more than 50%) of the posts on Fizz are clearly auto-generated and not relevant to the college that you attend.
Furthermore, they use an algorithm to inflate both upovotes and downvotes based on early feedback.
Fizz and it’s content are completely fake.

I’ve heard that while they “guarantee 100% security” there are some serious privacy concerns including that posts may not be fully anonymous. Also, Fizz brings out the worst of campus. Live your life in the real world like college is meant to be enjoyed.

i downloaded this, and within a few days it said that my college community wasn’t open yet, even though it was open on the day i downloaded it. this app also deleted their instagram account. makes me feel like it was just a data grab and now they’re going to sell our information

Fizz doesn’t care about its users at all. I told the mods that I was being harassed and they just banned me. Fizz doesn’t care about its community and you should avoid it at all costs.

After I enter my school email, it sends me the verification link. However, that link just sends me to a defunct webpage with no option to verify my email, making it impossible for me to create an account :/

I’m new to Fizz but even just the first few posts on my feed verbally abused college students and made fun of kids, classes, and professors. In light of rising mental health issues on my campus, apps with anonymous content and active bullying are dangerous. I don’t understand why the issue of bullying on Fizz isn’t taken more seriously—we need to do better to protect communities of college students. App deleted on my end.

At my school (Stanford), everyone I know is on this app. I use Fizz mostly for campus news and memes. It’s really fast paced because there’s literally a new post every minute but that’s what makes it good. The DMs are also pretty useful if you want to get advice from others while staying anonymous.
A couple suggestions: allow people to send images in DMs, allow posting of videos
