As an author I completely understand wanting to get your book out there. But apps like these are truly taking advantage of readers! You start out with enough chapters to get you hooked, great idea I’ll give you that, but then you have to either pay for or earn coins. I was willing to look over the spelling errors as the story was good enough to do so. But you’d think they’d offer to allow ppl to buy the entire book for a certain amount of coins rather than 3 page chapters for coins that go up with every chapter. I’m sure they’re making a killing! Taking advantage of ppl. If you expect ppl to read chapter by chapter then you’d think you’d at least offer the authors ways to get their books edited, teach them the proper way to set up a book rather than allowing them to release books with many editing errors and some not set up for book format on a normal app. Do better, seriously! Allow readers to buy entire books, teach the authors and help them learn so they can get better and better!

I love to read and if I find a good book I don’t mind to pay for it. That being said paying for each chapter is ridiculous! And 39 coins or bonus for one chapter?!?! I log in and do the little extras to earn bonus, but some of these stories have 150 chapters or more, if you are buying coins it will cost way too much for an unedited book. I don’t mind mistake because I know if I tried to write I would make plenty but not willing to pay this much for one story and some aren’t even complete

The book seems to be good, the only problem I have is after paying to read, after each chapter I have to stop because it is requesting I rate the book.. After being disappointed continuously I requested full payment and have yet to receive it.. My advice to anyone that has downloaded BueNovela is to uninstall immediately it is a total waste of time and money… I didn’t notice until after I paid that BueNovela says something about it being Arregular which I guess is suppose to be Irregular which means there are problems with BueNovela.. I feel that this is a scam,, again I am requesting a full refund and advising everyone not to download or if you have please uninstall…This company has the audacity to urge the readers to engage in a Christmas special to get bonus points and I can’t continue reading after I paid for it and requested a refund on the payment I made for the book Merman My Man, not receiving acknowledgment nor an apology. As I stated earlier that this is indeed a scam, taking hard earned dollars and making false promises to the consumer.. I will look further into how to report this bogus company…

I downloaded BueNovela cuz I thought it was a good app and at first it was cuz u earned coins every day but as soon as I got to a certain point of the book it asked me for 19 coins which wasn’t a big deal, but when I got to the next chapter it asked me double the coins!! It should have been the same amount of coins not more! I find it awful that you have to pay more per chapter and and it’s an inconvenience!! You should be able to unlock the chapter by either waiting for a timer (it’d unlock the next day) or you could skip the wait and use the coins!

I am an author, and if I depended on BueNovela, I’d give it a -5*. Takes way too long to try and log in, and then nothing happens. These “coins” you have to “earn” just to read is ridiculously ridiculous. Sorry. I don’t know who you guys are who made BueNovela, but it is not at all what I expected. When I read, I expect apps to at least work. If it doesn’t, I delete it. I have deleted it, and there was a book that I started to read which was really good except that it was not edited at all, and I might have read more, but because BueNovela is totally unreliable, I won’t be DL it again.

First, the good: it’s easy to use, lots of different genres, easy to find something to read. I like that the first few chapters are free, to see if you want to continue, and I like that you can change the color, font and text size.
Now, the negative: I don’t like that the ‘free’ coins tasks- reading for 30 minutes to receive 10 coins- doesn’t tally the time. I have read for 1.5 hours, and it gave me 17 minutes. It wasn’t a one off. It’s happened several times. I feel like BueNovela is built to miscalculate it so the reader doesn’t receive the ‘free’ coins.
Also, the chapters aren’t a uniform price. If you auto into the next chapter, BueNovela charges your credit card on file in BueNovela Store without notifying you.
Last, the books don’t seem genuine. There are many odd misspellings, grammatical and syntax errors. It’s almost like a program is writing or editing the books. I’ve read samplings of a dozen or so books—they all overuse the word smirk which is strangle annoying. Lol. Ultimately I deleted BueNovela , as I was unable to read due to working 2 jobs, but I went in and attempted to collect my daily coins, they just disappeared out of my bank. I don’t want to do business with a business that is dishonest about the way they do things.

I absolutely love the book that I am reading, but I hate the coin system. The amount of coins require fluctuates daily. Some days, I have to give up 20-30 coins just to read one chapter that will take me at least 3 minutes to read! For the amount of coins required, it's not worth it. Then there's the fact that you can't build up your coins in order to binge read because the coins expire.

Makes no sense! A better solution would be to either lower the amount of coins required or allow for the book to unlock a new chapter daily.

As amazing as some of the stories are that I get lost in reading it drives me insane that I can’t just keep going at the end of chapters when I don’t have the money for coins to try to read even the next chapter. This is the reason I quickly lose interest in electronic reading apps is because I get interrupted in the reading processes to pay to read what is next. To read one story in its entirety would cost the same if not more than just buying a book depending on how many chapters are in the story.

I took a picture of my coin amount in BueNovela , then I reopened BueNovela to “check in” and there are 20 points missing that I Did Not spend them! There are time and date stamps on the pictures I took! This in now the 4th time I’ve had reward coins stolen from my account! I like the books but I’m ready to delete BueNovela because you can sent a message to the support team, but nothing happens. I have a ticket from Mid-December that is still “Processing”!

BueNovela is such a ripoff. So far, I’ve liked the few chapters I’ve been able to read but BueNovela should really offer for you to buy the whole book vs spending $5+ for every few chapters. Or some other type of deal that actually makes sense. I can, we all can, go & buy a book that’s actually edited & written by at least a semi grammatical professional for much cheaper than BueNovela for a whole “book.” Lol, can buy multiple books for the price you’d pay for a single one on here by the end of it.
Disappointment to the max. Will not be returning to BueNovela.

I really wanted to like BueNovela. The story I started reading was really good and I like swiping like I was turning the page but then it said I needed to buy coins to unlock the next chapter so I bought some. Next thing I know it says I’m out of coins! You would think that they would ask you if you would like to use more coins but no it just takes them away with each page/chapter you read. Then there’s “bonus rewards” you can check in every day and get some, watch videos, etc. but no where does it say where to spend the bonus points. Only information is how to get more bonus points and no where to use them! All in all I gave it 2 stars because the story I was reading was really good but it feels like a scam because if you really wanted to read just one story it can get expensive and that’s wrong in my opinion.

There are some good books, but there are also some terrible ones. Sometimes the errors are so bad I can’t continue reading the books. Getting new chapters can be very expensive if you don’t want to wait to earn the points slowly. Also, the 10 points you get for reading 30 minutes does not work most of the time. I will read for a couple hours and it stays at 0 minutes. Tonight I force closed BueNovela and started reading again to see if that would work and it said I read for 19 minutes when it had been at least 45 minutes. One I finish the 2-3 books I am currently reading, I am done with BueNovela.

BueNovela runs off of a coin system to read chapters. They offer ‘bonus’ as a coin option for checking in & watching ads. One option to gain bonuses is to read on their platform for 30 minutes. It would be nice if this option actually worked properly. It doesn’t matter how long you read on the platform because it will not recognize the time spent reading. Some occasions it works & others it does not. Other big fixes, such as, the option to not auto-open chapters need to be fixed. It doesn’t matter how many times you check that box because it doesn’t work. I would use a different platform if I were you.

I have spent money on books that I valued. The biggest problem I have is that you can read on BueNovela for 30 minutes but sometimes it doesn’t register your reading time correctly. I have tried turning on do not disturb but I still miss out on the bonus even though I owns at least an hour consistently and uninterrupted reading on BueNovela . There is no app support or anywhere to report this to. Following the social media of this app did not earn me bonus coins either.

But I hate having to buy coins to get to the next chapter and how each chapter goes up in coins cost. They are short chapters which is fine except that you have to pay for each chapter and 33 coins for. I did like that you could earn coins but they will only give you enough for two chapters then you have to wait until the next day. I would rather just buy the book out right and be able to binge read it like I love to do.

I’m enjoying reading some of the books however once you add a payment method I hope you never intend to change it because it’s impossible. There’s no way to get support on BueNovela , and there isn’t anything to your direct account information about your bank or your credit card nothing once it’s in there it’s just gone. And that above all is why I’ve seriously considered deleting BueNovela multiple times.

I LOVE the books!!! It would be nice to subscribe and be able to read without having to stop. Or at least be able to unlock chapters every day without having to wait for coins to build up. I’m sure most delete BueNovela because of it taking so long just to unlock a single chapter.

The topics are very interesting and I find them a joy to read! That being said the fact of the coins drives me nuts because I can’t get the videos to play to earn those or the one where I read for 30 min won’t let me collect it

For me I like getting lost in certain books. The stories have to really have me imagine myself in them for me to read. I can read a whole book non stop if it has me truly hooked. I give the ones I do read a 5 star for truly grabbing my attention.

With that being said I would really just like a one time subscription to truly have myself to keep reading. I enjoy the books so much that at one time I have six different books I am reading at once and most time I spend so much on trying to get coins or buy that I would love to finish a full book before starting another to keep my interest going.

I love BueNovela. The writers are amazing I haven’t read a bad book yet. The only thing I wish was that there was a read to me option. Sometimes at work I can’t have my phone in my hand but I can still use my headsets. So would be nice to still be able to listen to my books while I work. Or do house work. Other than that the books are incredible right up my alley. Better than any of the other apps I’ve read from!

I bought the largest coin/bonus package available, $119, to be able to read on this app only to be able to read one full book and a partial book. Why does it cost so much to read? Tried to contact someone with NO response. What a scam! No app should charge that much and there is nothing explaining how much per book or chapter cost. Very sad since some of the authors have good writings. Authors and readers deserve better than this.
