This is my first app review, but I'm so frustrated and disappointed that I felt I should warn others not to waste their money. The layout of the content is incredibly confusing, particularly the 'Catch Up' section, which is just a collection of VODs from earlier shows. Many of the content options don’t even work when you click on them. The only content that consistently functions is the live shows.

Additionally, ScreeniL doesn't work on TVs if the operating system, like LG WebOS, isn't up to date. The website also fails to work on such “not up to date OS” TVs. What's the point of watching news on your phone when you have a big screen available? Overall, ScreeniL has caused nothing but wasted time and frustration.

I keep watching black screen and can’t find shows from 2 days ago , the live streaming is ok but the rest is impossible to watch , hard to operate

I can’t make this work from any device. It feels a little bit like a scam. I’m going to have no choice but to cancel it through my credit card company.

ScreeniL frequently can not resume a stream after exiting and returning to it and after any system event that interrupts the video (alarm, incoming call, etc). You have to kill it and navigate back to the the program you watched. This also happens if you lose connectivity for a sec or switch from Wi-Fi to Cellular. There is no Picture in Picture so you can’t minimize it to just the stream you are watching. You can’t do anything else on the phone while watching a stream. If you exit to do something else you most likely won’t be able to resume it. Please hire some capable iOS developers and fix this mess.

Recently every few seconds it logs me out of my account mid streaming. Every time I open ScreeniL it prompts me to log in - why is it not saving my credentials? And today I can’t even access ScreeniL - says ScreeniL is only accessible from outside of Israel - which is where I am - in the u.s. so who’s the dumb engineer who worked on that prompt logic? Can’t even access the account to pause or cancel my subscription- this is the definition of fraud. App Store Reviews need to do a better job reviewing ScreeniL because the developers are obviously a group of amateurs. Stay away and don’t waste your hard earned money.

ScreeniL is Glitchy, freezing making it impossible to watch full episode of a show beginning to end. And the nerve they have to charge for it. At least make it work properly!

Tried ScreeniL and streaming service for about a month and cancelled my subscription. ScreeniL was crashing and had many bugs, and the streaming service was freezing constantly making it unbearable to watch the program. There are other similar services that function much better and have wider selection of programs and movies.

And service is bad as well. Not enough space to share all issues.

Was excited to get it . Paid for one month to try out- and got ScreeniL too. I have a USA local sim with a local wifi- and it says service is blocked in Israel… How come??? Also found it very flaky and unreliable. Not intuitive and have a lot of old shows and little current. Find other ways to watch Israeli TV !

Only video app that doesn’t keep a floating screen when you switch to other apps. Constant streaming issues. And now, it’ll just refuse to show you some content. Channel 13? Sure, for 2 seconds and then it’s whatever this crappy app decides to take you to.

What a disgrace.

I was excited to try this service. What a disappointment. The content is great, but you cannot watch it because the user interface is impossible to navigate and because it is very very very slow ( I tried different locations/wifi).

Bad UX and full of bugs. We’ve been waiting forever for a legit and legal way to watch Israeli content. This is the best you could get?

ScreeniL doesn’t support picture-in-picture when minimized, and it’s difficult to look up shows, as the search functionality is pretty broken.

I’ve never written an app review but I am hoping this will get to the developers because it is simply impossible to watch without it freezing, having to delete ScreeniL , not finding the content with the search function even tho the content is there. I have to re enter my credentials every time, and to keep watching something all the functions are way off, too much to list here. Can’t watch at all in the tv and the laptop is hit and miss. I have a collection of snapshots of the multiple error messages I can share. In this time and age it is puzzling to find this level of amateurish streaming app at a $20 per month price point.

So let’s begin with the fact that this is the only service I’ve found that has all the main channels and has a native iOS and Apple TV app.

The newest features are a significant improvement to performance and usability.

Search just doesn’t work effectively, and results are very limited. Can’t search in Hebrew on Apple TV. Category search is even more confusing.

Catch up - is not intuitive and when you actually find something and hit replay in many cases it starts either several minutes into the show or 10-15 minutes of the prior show. DVR service would be nice.

Be advised several shows on channel 11 are blocked from the broadcast.

I appreciate the improvements to date, when these issues are fixed it will warrant another star.

Thanks for making it possible. I love that i can watch it in both my tv and my phone.
4 stars and not 5 bc ScreeniL keeps logging me out, and forcing me to put the log in again, too often, and interrupts the ease of turning on the tv, or wanting to see a live show.

They fixed the login issue and now ScreeniL is working properly

For years there was no good option to watch a nice selection of Israeli TV channels outside of Israel. The only option was to pay money to pirates who steal content, and resell it.

Screen IL is really great. The picture quality is awesome, and the selection of channels & programs is very good. I like the fact I can watch either on my computer or my TV (using Apple TV).

I strongly recommend, and hope that more people will stop paying pirates, and switch to Screen IL.

I’m so happy I found this. I’ve been using it for over a week now, and I just signed up after my trial for an annual subscription. I couldn’t be happier just the streaming is so clear and so fast and so flawless.. a lot of content, especially news which I love that’s the reason I actually got this service this thousands of amazing Israeli movies all the new ones the old ones and everything in between and you might not know this but this company is the only company who is legit😉😉😉

Finally an app that delivers.
All main channels are in high quality and available on all my TVs at home !
