App changes paragraphs and words be warned

So I downloaded this to help on my law class reading and using the scan it really changes a lot of the words around and changes verbiage in paragraphs using words later in the paragraph which is a critical detail in law readings which makes ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader more harm than good. Deleting ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader now, not worth messing up my grade in the class. There are other apps that read aloud for you without changing things. Also if you slow the reading voice below the 1.0 you have a crazy electronic hmmm in the background which makes that feature useless as well . Trash app

NEED A LIFETIME PAYMENT OPTION!

I can’t fully get into ReadBit because of the subscription pricing! The idea sounds great, but I don’t really know what ReadBit gives me that Voice Dream Reader doesn’t! Why? Because being a disabled senior won’t allow for all these app subscriptions so prevalent today!?i seriously need a LIFETIME payment option! If there was a LIFETIME payment option, I would jump on it right away! I just can’t take on all these app subscriptions!? Won’t you PLEASE consider a Lifetime pay option? I think the subscription payment should go into hiding! I know developers need to get pay for what they build, but the iOS PLATFORM’S gone crazy with the subscription model! And, what does ReadBit give me over Voice Dream Reader and such apps? Until something is done about the subscription model, I take away stars! I would like to use ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader but the subscription payment is not for me, unfortunately! PLEASE set a Lifetime payment option! I am waiting! THANKS! DEVELOPER, would you please address! Please don’t ignore this review! Thanks!

It’s cool. Because it’s new

I like it but it copies words more then one. It back read over in a paragraph with it has () or quotation! It reads out of order at times. You should always keep the hard copy. Just be patient with ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader . I’m pretty sure they will update that feature. At this rate it is not worth paying for but for free so it’s ok! The word count could be higher since it double read!

Great app, more affordable than Speechify but it crashes a lot

I’m not sure exactly what is wrong with this application but it seems like it has a lot of issues when it comes down to loading things within the applications app data it crashes almost every time I loaded up after having a pretty good size library it’s a good app otherwise when it does work and it is much more affordable than speechify.

Great app

This is a great app and probably the best pdf reader I’ve found so far.

It would be nice if more voices from iOS could be used free

I also have a problem where if I add more than a few books it will freeze up for a second or crash and they will all be gone. This gets annoying to keep adding books over and over and makes ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader much more annoying to use overall as it takes forever to add some books then they randomly disappear.

Last update

Reading settings does not work since last update. App is reading all text within brackets and parentheses, however, still a great app. Eventually app will reach five star rating when bugs are worked out. Just be patient.

Very useful

Great app that would save time while on the road or at the gym. It gets stuck a little when you tap on buttons. And also I chose Turkish as language however app did not respond in Turkish

Helps to save a lot of time

I tried the premium version and am very pleased with how it summarizes long texts and reads with really human-like voices. As a developer, I believe ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader has a long way to go, but still, it helps me get a lot of reading done while coding. I used to listen to podcasts, but now I can make my own lists and listen to them.

Wonderful

Before switching to the iPad I used Kindles which still have one of the best text to speech readers available. Because of that it has been hard to find good text readers that do not not sound choppy or incapable of making smooth transitions.
Read-it has been fantastic and I am very pleased at its quality.I would you give me the five stars if it wasn’t so expensive. There are two readers on the market that think people should be spending $100 a year or more. I wouldn’t spend more than $50 for any text reader.

Good

There’s certainly a learning curve in terms of scanning the documents/book pages with my phone to make it recognizable to the AI. Once I understood how it works, ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader is very useful. You have to make sure the page is flat and the lines are straight. Otherwise, the texts will be shuffled. This is the best free reading app among the similar apps so far.

The best voice reader out there today

Positives:
The text to speech is flawless. You can’t tell the difference between a human and the AI. Truly impressive. Natural reader, dream reader, and others don’t even compare. I will never use another app for this.

I love the way it organizes the library

Negatives:
However, it randomly pauses sometimes. Understandable. It’s using the internet to interpret the text. But they need to dedicate more resources to this. It’s a problem sometimes. A bigger problem than other apps.

It reads footnotes. I wish there was an option to cut out footnotes, page numbers, superscripts for citations, etc.

The margin crop feature doesn’t seem to work

Wish list for future updates:
I would love it if they had the ability to download the entire book audio so I can listen on the train on my way to work. This is a feature most apps don’t have so this isn’t the fault of ReadBit

I would love a chrome browser extension

I wanted to put down some minor criticisms but I will never use another app for this. Even with those criticisms, ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader is by far the best. I hope to see the company grow so they can add new features. I would even pay more for the features if they set up tiered subscription or something.

Keep it up

Lovely Reading Companion

I’m really glad that I found out about ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader and can finally have the books that I already own as audiobooks. Sometimes while working on a thing, I wished I could resume my books as if I was listening to a podcast, but didn’t really want to be charged for a book I already own twice for the audio book version. Now I just scan several pages before switching to work and keep listening to my books. Once I’m done with my work, I just switch back to the book, and I don’t even need to worry about where I was since ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader does a great job at showing where I was exactly.

Love this !

I study anthropology at college and I get hundreds of pages of research articles as weekly assignments. I normally get very bored and distracted when reading, but when I use this reader I can actually can get done with all the articles on time without getting bored.

Awesome app

Love it! Since the pandemic started, I tried to be more physically active at home, but to read something, I had either sit at my desk or on the couch before finding ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader. Now it reads to me when I do other things, like cooking, doing other chores, or a workout. Great for multitasking.

👍

Honestly I came on here so I could listen to a fanfic and it actually wasn’t annoying to listen to. Plus the multiple voice are an added extra when the a voice gets annoying.

Having a crashing problem.

So ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader has worked for me really well since I first downloaded it. It would sometimes crash when I tried to open it, but then would open the second time, so I didn’t see a problem. Now it crashes whenever I try to open it. It sits there like it’s trying to load up ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader like it always did, then just closes after about 16 to 18 seconds. The only thing I know that’s different is that I copied about ten 3 to 5 hour long text files in, and put them in a folder. Not sure if ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader just can’t handle loading that much or if it’s something completely different, but I hope it gets fixed soon. Thank you!

Fantastic Tool for Reading

I have been using ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader for a variety of documents, from academic papers to books. It is fantastic to be able to do your reading/listening while you are commuting or exercising. Highly recommended!

Love to use it

I have dyslexia and always hated reading. ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader helped me study and read without losing much time or getting frustrated. The good thing is that I can import online content and listen to it when I need them for homework.

Great App

I have tried many readers and text-to-speech apps, but I think this is what I liked the most. The new playlist feature helps me organize my reading materials, but it would be great to share them with my friends.

Awesome! One critique on pronunciation though…

Hey there ReadBit Devs! Love ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader ! It’s really handy, and I love using it to listen to my fics!

Unfortunately, one problem I’ve noticed is that even though I have specific pronunciations of some words - such as some characters names - set in my setting, ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader doesn’t seem to use them.

Maybe if you could add a feature for ReadBitTexttoSpeechReader to use them from the settings, or a section/way to set them, that’d be great!

Once again, fantastic app, and if you could consider my suggestion for the future, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much! ^w^
