Immediately upon opening DadJokeoftheDay for the first time got an ad that asked a bunch of political questions and couldn’t close the ad. App deleted
Stay away from
First: They show 458 reviews but you can only read 5? Really? 453 people left no comments? I find that hard to believe. Secondly a very discreet message popped up when I was scrolling through jokes. When I tried to go back to DadJokeoftheDay …I was suddenly charged $2.99 2 times. I still don’t know what I paid for. There too many other sources for jokes. I immediately deleted it. They’ve asked me to update my review, because they do not have any in-app purchases. I redownloaded. They are right. They don’t. But what they do is, if you are scrolling through the jokes, you’ll suddenly get to an ad that is very cleverly disguised and you will click on it. So I’ll add one star….but it’s still a no for me.
Very funny corny dad jokes. But ads every couple jokes make it that less funny or fun.

Whether someone likes a joke is purely subjective so I'm not reviewing the actual jokes in DadJokeoftheDay - they're corny, as "dad jokes" tend to be, so whether you like them is a matter of personal preference.
I'm just rating on the fact that moving between jokes is difficult. You have to swipe to get to the next one, but it doesn't move easily. I don't have this difficulty with other things I try to do on my phone. There is an option to shuffle them, but I don't want to re-order them - just move to the next one in the deck.
There are also no options for settings. I don't know what you might want to change, but if you wanted to there is no way to do so.
I'm probably making more of a deal over these things than is necessary but wanted to mention mu thoughts.
Give us some new jokes every once in a while. These are getting stale.
