I keep seeing apps for addressing mental health issues but they are all subscription based apps. I feel they should be free with an option to donate. If they actually help i would donate to the developers because i have tried a few apps like this and they didnt help at all and the developers still got my money, which shows them the app “works” when in reality it didnt in the slightest. These kind of apps are just capitalizing on people with mental health issues with bots writing positive reviews

I downloaded this app and started with the free trial because it said that I would be given a warning about when my trial was up. I was not given a warning notification as stated and was charged for a full year subscription without knowing. I have adhd and decided to do the free trial to try to help with my day-to-day life AND because I was told I would receive a notification when the trial period was about to end in case I didn’t want to continue using the app. Well I tried it for a couple days, and it wasn’t helping me as much as I hoped (not hating on the actual app itself, it just wasn’t a good fit), and I completely forgot about it (short term memory issues). So when I checked my bank statements and saw the charge I almost burst into tears. While it may not be a ton of money, it is still something I didn’t budget for and I would like to know why I would be charged for a full year subscription instead of monthly to start off with.

Before support comments back I did try going through apples process 2 times both times it said this app was “ineligible for refund”. I’m not trying to come off rude by any means but I did everything I was told. I went through app first, I emailed the support email left in the other reviews just to get a automated email saying to go to the help center on the website or use the chat bubble (which both said to contact Apple. I ended up getting the chat bubble to let me send a message.), I even waited a couple days with no response whatsoever from the team.
I didn’t use this app past the first day, I thought I would but I didn’t. I have memory issues so I just forgot about it. Not to mention I never got a reminder email to cancel it. I believe it was a 3 day trial so I assume it was supposed to send in day 2. But I didn’t receive anything. I don’t know if it was my email or what but I never received anything, I checked multiple times and multiple inboxes. I just want my money back. I will delete this review and all if someone will just refund me. I don’t have money just laying around to be okay with losing 40$. So please someone just get back to me and help me get my money back. Thank you.
Side note: I did check all inboxes once more to verify I never got a response before sending this review.
