Convenient but buggy

I love having MicrosoftLists to update my lists on my phone. It’s a good accessory to the PC version. It has a couple of bugs like not being able to access the “save” check mark while entering data. I have to switch back to home screen and then back to MicrosoftLists . Also slow updates if you are using phone and PC simultaneously. I wish I get edit the view on the iOS app instead off having to go back to the PC. One thing MicrosoftLists is better at than PC is adding pictures and attachments. On the phone I can do basic picture editing before adding the photos.

Download trap

It didn’t tell its just for organizational accounts only and personal accounts are not eligible to use with, which is a trap just to download.
I think this would be for everyone, I use windows 10 and I do love apps between my iPhone and my pc and the simplest ones such this prohibits me from logging in.
Please allow personal accounts and I will re-rate it back.

Formatting Doesn't Fully Translate

Formatting of cells, columns, rows, etc does not translate over from the web version to MicrosoftLists version. This is sad, because I absolutely LOVE using Miscrosoft Lists. Not a deal breaker. I can still use it in the browser, but I would really enjoy it so much more if they fully incorporated the formatting into MicrosoftLists .

Drafts of new items are erased

If you navigate away from MicrosoftLists (go to home screen, switch app), any in-progress addition to a list is completely discarded when returning to MicrosoftLists . This completely negates any convenience or usefulness of MicrosoftLists for me; I am constantly switching between my lists and other programs/windows on a computer. Please fix this and I’ll update my review and continue using MicrosoftLists .

List Does Not Update

App is ok only because it’s glitchy. I show 3 list under our teams group but MicrosoftLists only shows 2 under one of the logins. Logged into another account on another phone and didn’t have that issue. List name doesn’t update also.

Make this available for personal accounts!

As a manager of a business, I downloaded this thinking it would help me stay organized. We do not have a business account I use my personal account to do everything. It was definitely a let down knowing that I couldn’t use MicrosoftLists.

Advanced Views with Calculated Columns?

When will the mobile app be able to actually display advanced list with calculated columns? I have two lists connected, but they will not display in the mobile app.

Must have commercial account and subscription

It seems pretty ridiculous to me that a literal LISTS APP requires you to have a commercial account with a 365 subscription (which is a ridiculous idea in itself, you shouldn’t have to subscribe to use Microsoft office). Typical mega corporation, has to squeeze every last penny out of its consumers.

How do you scroll across Columns on desktop app

Is there a way to scroll across columns on desktop application?
I don't see the scroll bar (icon) on the bottom.

By

It has potential

Using lists should be fast. MicrosoftLists requires too many approval operations. For instance when changing the value for a choice column. MicrosoftLists is more of excel with lipstick.

By

Not supported for Outlook

Why can’t outlook users use MicrosoftLists? I love using Microsoft services but when I went to this today it required a work or school account and I had neither. Please make this supported for more than just 365 users.

By

Can’t use personal account

Really disappointed you’re not able to use this with a personal account. What about the people who don’t necessarily have a work or school email?

By

Useless

Don’t reset your password for your email or it won’t let you access any of your lists. Tried signing out and back in, uninstalling MicrosoftLists , restarting my device. It’s now useless.

So disappointed!

I was so excited to see MicrosoftLists - exactly what I was looking for. Until I saw that it’s only available for commercial 365. Any possibility this will be rolled out for us mere mortals that subscribe to Office 365?

Can’t delete views

Like title says. I want to change the filters on a view but it won’t let me overwrite or delete the view.

Life’s a garden what would jd choice!?!?

Legit life saver
Diggin it for Duggar watch me grow bud

By

Limited

I want to print or export to excel from MicrosoftLists but cannot.

By

Great app but lacking some features

I was excited this finally came out on MicrosoftLists store but one feature it does lack is a gallery view or a custom view for the tables. Please add! This phone screen is already too small to try and view the whole table

By

Nice modern list app

Really like MicrosoftLists. Never used SharePoint lists so this is new. Features are great and easy to use. The only issue I am having is the search bar returns no results no matter what I type in. Hopefully just a bug that will be fixed soon.

Classic Anti-Privacy Microsoft

Looks great, but a quick glance at those data collection practices was a quick nope from me. Should you decide to re-evaluate stomping lol over on your customers’ privacy, I might give MicrosoftLists a shot, but until then, I’ll stick with other companies who as don’t need all of my data.

Why why why M$? Why?

Seriously if you pay for O365 for your own home, you can’t use that account for MicrosoftLists. You can use it for all others, just not this. It makes no sense why M$ made this choice.... guess we will keep waiting.

By

No iPad Support

I was all for trying this, but not having it properly designed for both iPhone and iPad without not fitting the screen is undesirable. That alone will probably keep me away from liking MicrosoftLists at first release.

By

Only available for student or business accounts

For those looking to explore an AirTable alternative, you must have a student or business account to use MS Lists. I wish this was available with 365 to track personal projects!

By

iPad??????

Useless. Can project management really be done on an iPhone screen? Why would this be released without an iPad app? And, in general, why is Lists (on web in Microsoft 365) so limited? You cannot even add sub tasks to List items.
