I had to give a rating to halt the interruptions asking for a rating. Having just downloaded and starting to use PhotoFamilyTree, I have no idea what I really think of it. I just know the experience is starting poorly.

Can we hold off the begging for approval for at least 48 hours? One week would be better if you really want feedback based on the product.

Update: app requires facial scan. Stay away. Developer responded saying PhotoFamilyTree is only made for family trees. I found a better app called Quick Family tree that doesn’t require facial scan and you can upload photos

Im working on pedigrees and when I upload photo, PhotoFamilyTree wants to scan for a face. If there is no face , it won’t upload. This is weird to me and I shouldn’t have to have a face scanned. I’m doing this to manage horse pedigrees and I can’t with PhotoFamilyTree. Seems like they’re tracking faces to me. Stay away.

I downloaded PhotoFamilyTree to try and make sense of my family since I’m adopted but it won’t allow me to edit complex relationships like step siblings or half cousins etc. it’s showing me as similar to a step parent and we are not related at all. Please fix

This seems to be nice visual app for a small family tree. It might get unwieldy for a very large genealogy though! One thing that would boost the rating from me would be the ability to place/reorder the images in order of birth date. Currently the images get added with no regard to actual birth dates so if you add out of order your tree is wrong.

I come from a medium to large family. And I would like to make separate family trees. Like for my sisters and brother, uncles and aunts, so forth. But, when I tried, it wouldn’t allow me to get past that circle of me. So, is there another way, or not?

I’m hoping to make a few suggestions as I would love to keep using this platform for my tree.

1. Adding a wedding date or year to married couples
2. Adding remarried spouses. For couples who have remarried after divorce and have kids with two different people.
3. Add a non photo option. To be able to add a name of someone you don’t have a photo of.
4. Most importantly, to sign in on an apple device not registered to you. To allow other family members to contribute to the tree. It’s hard because I only have my phone and everyone has to send photos to me. My husband can’t even log in on his phone
5. Fix the iPad version. There is not a way to edit or view the full tree. Pretty frustrating when I want to show my family tree and I can’t display it on a big screen that’s interactive. .

PhotoFamilyTree makes it easy to build a family tree with photos.

I think PhotoFamilyTree is great and simple. But there definitely needs to be a feature to add children to just one parent. I have grandparents who have kids together and then got divorced and got remarried with other kids. PhotoFamilyTree doesn’t have an option to separate kids to one parent or have a parent/grandparent together with current spouse.

PhotoFamilyTree is pretty cool even in the basic form without premium! I do wish they had a feature to allow you to add divorces and remarriages since both sets of my grandparents are divorced and remarried and I would like to add them to the tree.

I like PhotoFamilyTree it does take awhile to get used to but once you have it you can get a real life tree and as far back as you want to go.

I misunderstood and now my mother is 2 people I can’t blend.

Take pictures out of main file when they have been identified.

PhotoFamilyTree has features that makes it easy to add family

PhotoFamilyTree puzzles me many times. It is difficult to remove a person you think is in the wrong place. The information is correct in the history but wrong elsewhere. I think I may have another program of Family Tree from the past.

On the positive side, more information is being added that I did not know. Like dates of births of past generations. Betsy Greenway.

It’s fun to find out who you may be the most similar you are in looks to other family members.

Love being able to compare similarity between family members

Love seeing who my babies look like and what all family members got from other family members

I love looking through old photographs to see how similar family members look to each other.

If I could I would give this a 10 star review is the best game ever and if you see it you should really buy it or if I could’ve won hundred star review

I think some updates you need to add are separate family trees that don’t have to be linked for you to make them, divorces, adoption And to Show that they are adopted put adopted on their line,that’s really all keep up the good work!
