The difficulty level is appropriate, and there are a couple of nice features such as an autocomplete once you’ve got only 9 squares remaining.
The main reason for the negative rating is the ads. Every single game you are prompted to watch an ad, always for the same limited set of games. That gets old real quick. Some ads are skippable after 5 seconds, but some are not.
The heaviness of the advertising experience makes it impossible for me to recommend this game to others.

There is a video ad after every game. You have to view it for at least 5 seconds before you can close it, then you have to close out the ad also before you can resume play. Several times there has been no way to even close the ad without closing the app and restarting. Very aggravating! I wish there was just a purchase option without the ads, or at least far fewer ads.

I’ve tried several sodoku apps. Some of them feature ads. Unfortunately, the ones that do not feature ads that I’ve tried severely lack smoothness. It can feel like a sluggish chore to fill in each box, not to mention take notes.
Here we have a smooth sodoku app that features ads. However, (and take notes, two-other-popular-sodoku apps) a *quick* ad plays either before starting a new puzzle or when completing one. They don’t even show up regularly. So, don’t expect to have to watch one between every puzzle. They are fairly sporadic.
Most importantly, the ads *do not play when you successfully solve a row, column, or box*. I deleted another sodoku app because that is how they implement ads. They do not care about user experience. You are simply a dollar sign to them. That is all.
Other than that I have nothing more to say, except thank you to the publishers and developers of this app.
