Idle Police Tycoon Reviews

There are so many glitches in this game that it leads me to think that the devs gave up on this one. (1) The reception area gets FLOODED with people needing to report crimes, even though I haven’t upgraded the map area and I have max receptionists. (2) When the receptionists put cases on their shelves for the interns, there’s a little error bubble next to the shelf that doesn’t show what type of case they’ve just put up. (3) Because of the little error bubble, my interns seem to have no idea that case files are waiting for them, so my interns just sit around in the coffee room twiddling their fingers while my reception case shelves are just overflowing. (4) When I’ve tried to go into “contact support” on the settings page, I keep getting blocked by a pop-up that says “account already linked”, and no matter how many times I click “accept” it pops up over and over, to the point that I can’t even exit the settings page and I need to just shut down the whole app and restart. (5) I have reinstalled IdlePoliceTycoon multiple times and the problem still persists. Soooo what’s the deal devs? Have we given up on this game completely or what? You shouldn’t continue asking people to spend money on a game that you aren’t going to maintain. Because honestly I want my money back at this point.

Update 2023 Dec. still glitchy half the crime bosses caught disappear from the isolation cells meaning a massive amount off your income is gone. The prices to get the final few upgrade to complete a station 100% is astronomical. 40 million for the final upgrade on the highest swat locker. That feels more then the rest is worth in total.(it’s not but 98% of upgrades on the first station are under 500k easy.)
The game is fun to start and like other idle games slow. The issue is the balance and the price. The first police station you get 95% through (and there are hard caps for income) and now it’s check in once a blue moon. Also having more cops catch more criminals past a minimum gain no income. Just more loss as cop wages. This gets far worse as you progress until you get to the station that requires a “gold” shield to unlock. The in between would take weeks to beat with no real progress as again income is severely limited. Great you login 10 times with max gains and lvl up a desk. A desk that is not actually used in anyway in this station as no crimes are under it’s jurisdiction unless you are over flooding others. Others that you can max for half the price… You have three types of police and guess what. The most advanced takes 4 of 5 types. Now you have to wait for them to trickle over slowly as they have to be overwhelmed to send others there.

This game is awesome, but I want more control when I’m playing. I have downloaded most of the games from this developer, and I’m pretty much hooked at this point. But, this game needs more direction. For instance, the interns need to be told where to take the files. In the law game, I can decide which intern takes what, and this game needs that desperately since there are so many different departments. Also, each department needs to be more in sync. For example, there are certain crimes that can only be processed by fraud, but the interns will take that file to the regular police who aren’t equipped to handle it, and there’s no way to fix it. Why can’t they take the files to the right place instead of trying to work them? And, because of the lack of control, there are cases that basically get thrown out because of the fact there’s no place to put them. Right now, I have detectives who are taking every single file to my other department instead of taking it to the police, so my policeman are sitting there with no files to work because the detectives keep taking it to the wrong place. There also needs to be a clearing feature where I can remove Files from my cabinet when they are misplaced. Overall, this is a great game, but it needs more control for the player. Otherwise, you’re going to pull your hair out because they do not follow what they should in the game, and it’s infuriating. And, a bonus would be floors of jail cells.

I’m going to first start with the negatives about the Game. The Game mechanics are partially broken, in the sense that you are not fully guaranteed to make income when you watch advertisements. The sound effects for the Game is torture, especially when listening to it for long periods of time, luckily you can turn it off in the settings, but it is still an inconvenience. I think the tutorial was slow, so that could use more time.

On the positive side. The locations and creativity of the Game was terrific, I think the models used for the Game were diverse and unique. The challenges felt like they had meaning, it was satisfying to lock up dangerous criminals from time to time. This Game is better than most games.

So I’ve reached the last station available at the moment and there seems to be a problem in the reception. I tried to reach support through IdlePoliceTycoon but can’t seem todo it since I get a pop up that my account has been linked. The problem is when the receptionists talk with the people and they generate the books, they place it in the bookshelf so the interns can take it but when they do it shows the plus sign and a yellow triangle besides it with no indication of what the book might be, now the bookshelf is full of orange books but no intern takes it. I just finished the event at the same time that I finished the previous map. So now I don’t really have anything to do in IdlePoliceTycoon until another event is released

Love the game!!! I was addicted from the beginning. However, after about an hour of playing the sound starting getting a little staticky. After the static started, I noticed when the ads would play the video would freeze up but would still award me at the end. Now on day 2 of playing, I’m not able to watch ads at all. The ads play a few seconds then the screen goes black. I can hear it go back into the game but I can’t access it unless I log off and log back in. This has gotten very frustrating because I love the game but I can’t fully enjoy it. I’ve decided not to continue on trying to play at this point.

To level up you need to catch all the most wanted and buy all the available lockers and equipment for your station. You’ll need to buy the no ads expansion pack because it’s over a billion dollars to level out of la ruidosa. Otherwise you’ll just waste a lot of time watching ads and never be able to level forward in the game because everything costs too much. You can earn extra money buy building interrogation rooms but it’s not the millions and billions you really need. Palm shores will be another several billion on lockers for your tactical unit after you’ve already caught all your most wanted. Haiking will sort of just stall out on the automatic arrests and keep you from leveling up and getting your most wanted even after you’ve completely outfitted your station. There’s regular events where card packs are half off diamonds and your most wanted (in a place called twilight city) are worth more diamonds per performed task. Not sure if it’s a glitch in haiking that’s keeping game progress in permanent limbo or not.

It is way too hard to make money in this game, I have so many things that I need to upgrade but I can’t because I never have enough money, and whenever I come back to the game after being off-line for 12 hours or more I still only have a fraction of the money I need to upgrade anything of worth. The ad bonuses that you get are not even worth it because you only get 10 minutes each time you watch it when other idle games will give you four hours or at least two hours. I can’t advance even with all my upgrades, it seems like you only get money when you’re on the game, but only a pittance when you’re offline. I’ll give it a little longer but I doubt anything’s going to get better or easier. I need more money and it’s just not coming. You can get money by watching ads, but most of the time I end up hitting refuse because the amount isn’t worth the 30 seconds.

First. I love the game. Great way to pass the time when I’ve got downtime at work or other places.
Second. I’d like to see an extra guide section somewhere that explains the color coding of different reports taken by reception and what each of the symbols mean when unlocking a new section. I understand some of the symbols are very self explanatory but I’d still like to see some more available information.
Third. Can we get enough vehicles for all of the officers. The radical and advanced tactical units don’t have enough vehicles, so it looks kind of silly for one of the trans to go on foot to finish a case.
Those are some of the big things for me. A lot of the other bugs and complaints that have already been mentioned are also part of my experience, yet I still shoot the game and look forward to seeing the next city.

I enjoy this dev’s games and I often drop money on it. As of this review, there’s 4 playable cities, and I’ve paid for the full content.

Where there are some minor graphical issues I can ignore (glitchy art when zooming, a missing criminal graphic), the further I go along, the more it feels like things have been forgotten or bugged. For example, in the 2nd city, absolutely everything has been upgraded, but I’m stuck at 4 shield ranking. Then in the 3rd city, one objective calls for desks in a crime unit be upgraded to level 6... but the maximum is level 4. With increasingly noticeable and potentially game-breaking issues, I’m worried about having wasted my money. But as of this review, the game is still new and so I give the devs the benefit of the doubt. I just hope things can be fixed before I complete everything and move on.

Rated the game 4 of 5 stars mainly because there is not enough content. There are currently 3 cities to police. I have been playing 1 month and for 2 weeks now I have been waiting for the next city to open up. All of my other police stations are fully maxed. That being said I find the game very enjoyable. There are very few ads which I like. I am a very patient person so waiting for a short time for money to build up is not a problem for me. Money accrues fairly quickly. I spent $9.99 to buy the no ads feature which I feel was well worth the money as it is permanent and carries into all your cities allowing you to get the double income bonus when you log into a city as well as getting prisoners and investors income without having to view ads. The in game music is pleasing but I do wish there was a mute for the background sounds. Over all this is a great game!

It needs updates and more interactive opportunities like being able to interact with interns or special characters you have unlocked. These characters could have side missions like the buff intern completes a certain amount case file drops, or the detectives have a vendetta against one of the gangster leaders, etc. I pay for the characters using the gold, but I feel like it is for nothing since I barely see them doing anything or feel as if they are helping in the game.

Time for some more stations as well, maybe a corrupt station that has to be turned around with little funds, idk, I really love this game out of all the idle’s, just wishing it would get better.

I really love these sorts of games. If you’re into building up a business from nothing and making it into a huge success, this is the game for you.

There are some similar games to this I’ve played involving a hotel and a prison, but that’s where this game is considerably worse than both of them.

Normally any complaints about ads are there’s too many and I understand the goal is for people to pay money, but being able to watch ads for money or special perks, like the other games would make this one a lot more fun.

Even if there’s a limit to how many ads you can watch over a certain time frame would be better than no ads at all and having to wait every single Tim for your money to build back up.

The only other problem I have is I can’t turn the sound off. When I click the options I can turn off music, but the sounds of coughing and such stay so I can’t listen to music or anything while I play the game.

I’m going to keep playing the game despite these minor things, but if you don’t have much patience, I’d suggest one that lets you view ads.

I love this game. There are just a few updates needed. When you’re in the tab that shows each department’s progress, clicking on each department should actually take us to that department. Trying to find it can be a little aggravating at times. Instead of having money for each city, we should have just 1 bank account. After completing a city, we lose so much money that can help us continue with other cities. Stop making the update costs so high. It’s crazy to build a desk or item at $1,000 then the last update is 18,000,000. That’s just a ridiculous amount. Let us also create our own station that helps us fund the other stations. But otherwise...great game

Would you guys be able to add a confirmation when using gems to speed up building because when scrolling through to manage my station it’s very touchy and accidentally spent a lot of gems. Another idea for future stations is have is a helicopter unit and maybe a bomb squad/ bomb threat team and we can purchase the bomb robot and upgrade it to work faster. Lastly maybe give us the chance to name ourselves. That’s all I have for now if I think of anything else I’ll be sure to share it but other than that I love this game it’s addicting and can’t wait for more stations and what future updates have in store for us.

I love this game and purchased it a couple nights ago. It’s very addicting and fun to play. However, when I tried playing it again today, I got an error at the loading screen. I tried to restart my phone, make sure my internet is working, turn off my internet and turn it back on......nothing. It’s getting to be a little frustrating. It was working just fine last night too. No issues whatsoever then. I contacted support and I hope they get back to me soon because I really don’t want to get rid of this game since it’s really fun 😕.

This is one of the best idle games BY FAR. No forced ads, pretty easy, and I like how every upgrade it changes the model and look of what you upgraded. One problem though. Whenever I open the settings, it opens a window thing saying “this account is already linked”. Whenever I try to close it it just opens again and I eventually have to restart IdlePoliceTycoon . But that isn’t too much of a problem and the settings aren’t that important. Overall, it’s really good and I have downloaded more of the games by these developers.

Love the game! Very fun and satisfying! Im also a huge fan of the Hotel Empire and Prison Empire! Police station suggestions could be a city like new york. Big, alot of cells and police cars. Another could be a High-Tech city with flying police cars and etc. Another could be a city like london, Different police cars and uniforms.

Another thing is that I suggest that in other cities, there are different uniforms. Like a sheriffs department where there uniforms are beige and are wearing cowboy hats, and others with different colors, long-sleeved, short-sleeved. Police hat, tie. And any other appearance
updates. Thats really all the suggestions I have. Love the game!

This is a great game! It has tons of cool stuff to upgrade and can get you rich! Like I’ve been searching for good idle games and the only good ones I could find was this one, idle supermarket tycoon and theme park tycoon. (Suprisingly all from Codigames) And this would definitely keep you occupied. But my only complaint is that every time I spend all my money on stuff I have to wait like 30 min until I can go back into IdlePoliceTycoon so that I can regain all my money again. Sorry but I think you could add extra stuff that gives you money. Other than that this is amazing and super addictive!

I enjoy this game a lot, but got a problem just today. I was playing the event and noticed a new station available which required 7 shields to unlock. I unlocked it and tried to open it, but it was taking to long to load and had weird codes where the name should be. I keep trying to open the game, but it stays on the loading screen because I closed it out on the supposed new station. I’m assuming the new station isn’t finished, and if that’s the case it shouldn’t be made available yet. Now I probably won’t be able to finish the event. Despite this, I’ve enjoyed the game.
