Merge Friends - Fix the Shop Reviews

The game is fun but SUPER buggy! Rewards show “free” but not clickable. The story line is blah and doesn’t really interest me. There are also A LOT of “orders” for a lot of money earned and hardly any reward (they label it “taxes” for 5 experience points). The trains keep coming in with the exact same orders every time. They’ll even start as one order and then switch back to the same repeated orders. Some items are very difficult to get and take several days to merge. After a while it just gets too repetitive and not that exciting. You also run out of space VERY quickly. You level up quickly and then stagnate for a long time.
The game has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work to be anything substantial and something people would want to spend money on.

It is a fun game, at first. Renovating the store is fun, but when you’re done with that, you just turn into an endless delivery service. The mayor constantly begs for money and you don’t get anything in return. And there’s an older female character that has absolutely nothing nice to say. The trains that bring boosters are a nice idea, but by the time you fill the trains, you have no energy left to fill orders from the townspeople. So again, what’s the point? The other merge games I’ve played have a purpose, like building castles or unlocking land. Even Merge Mansion, which has it’s own set of problems, lets you renovate the grounds so you feel like you’re making progress. I’m going to delete MergeFriends. It’s a waste of my time.

This is a fun little game. It would be better if their were more deliveries or at least varied more. I’d like more mini games, like the cat series. The toughest thing is it takes FOREVER to level up. I actually timed it this time and it took 23 days to go from level 55 to 56 with daily play. That’s a long time. I won’t be opening the level 60 area until spring :(

So my aquarium disappeared. No idea how; I tested with other generators and it’s not possible to accidentally sell them. I thought I could just do without it but of course it’s one of the endlessly repeating requests so I just deleted the whole thing, thinking I’d start from scratch - the game was a lot more interesting in the beginning, anyway before everybody just kept requesting the same thing over and over, right? Annoying but whatever.

I CAN’T EVEN START OVER. I re-downloaded the game and it put me exactly where I was because cookies or something. No magical aquarium re-appearance.
Well, it was getting tedious anyway. But I can’t help being kind of upset - level 52 is nothing to sneeze at.

If the devs are going to respond again don’t bother - I couldn’t see the last response last time I got a notification; they just tell you you got a response and that’s it. It clearly wasn’t to say “we fixed it” anyway.

Ugh.

I play merge mansion and have been looking for another merge game to compare and this is the best comparable one I have found so far. It is fun and it gives you side missions which is cool but seriously, it’s too “busy”. There’s too much going on with the board and play screen and too much happening to keep track of anything without pulling on my obsessive compulsion. I can’t be the only one who thinks so. I like a clean play screen.
It definitely has potential though.

You get into this game and fill your boards up completely. You go to update your 6 optional things. You don’t have room for everything but you need most of them so you buy one item at a time. You go back to get more and they revert back to what you had before!! 😡. Then you fill a requirement but because it’s on two different boards, sometimes it won’t recognize it and you have to move everything to one board. 😡😡. Good lord can you make the game playable please!!

Please let me delete or sell the upgrade items. I have them just sitting around and taking up space and I can’t even get anything from them. The chests to level them up are to far and few between. I don’t need them taking up space in my backpack which also takes up a space on my board. I have 2 flowers I don’t need and I've had the same shopping cart piece for months

I love this game and had no problems playing until the latest update and now I’m stuck on the loading page at different percentages and then just closes out! Please fix this as this is one of my fav merge games ever!!! Ty

The game is fun at first, but later on you get stuck with loop/infinite missions that are always the same. That also goes for the rewards. The daily challenges are always the same, rewards are always the same, a lot of the things you can create end up becoming useless because you only really need to create them once then only the same other items will be asked for. It makes it seem like I have nothing to work towards anymore.

It’s ridiculous when a game barely ever gives you energy and then wastes 25% of your energy by giving bubble items that half the time (or more than half) make you pay gems for. And then the few times it does let you watch a video for a bubble item it doesn’t always give you the item. I want my 30 seconds back. I hope this last update fixed the issue with videos. Fix these things and I’ll up my rating.

This game has gone downhill since I started playing. It takes FOREVER to get the "pieces" you need to upgrade things, you can't sell certain items anymore because you have to upgrade them so the board is constantly filled with no way to get rid of things except items you need to make other items. It feels impossible to keep going when it takes me two days or more to complete a request. I understand wanting to make money/not wanting a game to be finished quickly but just a little break would be nice.

I started playing a different merge game before this and I quickly switched over to this game. I like the fast pace and the expandability. 2 major issues are the random crashes especially after you make a purchase. I lost my items and never got a response to my inquiry. The other issue is that I’m constantly having to look things up. Hoping it gets better with updates.

This was a great game until the mayor started saying toxic things. There was another character saying emotionally abusive things as well. If it wasn’t written as if I were the person receiving the abuse it would be annoying but okay. But since it addresses the player directly I don’t intend to take abuse from the games I play. I’ve had enough toxicity in my life, and considering the times we live in I feel it is socially irresponsible to create games that subconsciously train people to accept that abuse. Will be deleting. Too bad.

I loved the game. However, Since the last update, my game keeps crashing, very sporadically & randomly & it never did B4! & I’ve spend money on gems, like several times & now when I’m in middle of playing, some times it saves where I was, & sometimes all my stuff I made or paired is gone, but I still have the same amount of energy B4 it crashed. Please fix soon!!!!

I could install this on an iPhone7 running 14.4 so I know it’s not the install. I was able to start it, though it crashed at least once. When going through tutorial,clicking the buttons it indicates I need to click doesn’t work. I’ve tried repeatedly. I’ve tried clicking elsewhere on screen as well. There’s no button in the tutorial to try to exit out of tutorial to go to a menu so it could potentially be skipped. I’m uninstalling MergeFriends due to not being able to play it.

I really enjoy this game. I am not gonna lie and say I haven’t spent any money to be able to play extended times. But now I’m just stuck. I have no new tasks just the same ones on repeat. I have nothing left to do but the same 4 people same 4 quests. And they aren’t low level quests they are all rare items. It was fun when I could actually play but now not so much.

I can't enter the game after update 3 days ago.
When I open the game, only show the new loading picture and then no response.

One of the game elements is challenges.. you have a fixed amount of time to complete some number of challenging deliveries, and wow is it broken.

12 hours left in a challenge, to suddenly have the challenge disappear. Start a challenge and clear 1 of 4 deliveries, only to have the challenge clear the next time MergeFriends opens. Never spend money on these... they are super-sketchy.

Was one of my favorite merge games but now the orders are the same three over and over and over. Switch up the combos! Plus there are items that I will never get cuz I never have enough energy to create them. Six clicks and then I’m out of energy for several hours…really?

I like MergeFriends it’s the best app I ever had and it’s so cool that it’s about towns and places and houses and other town stuff it’s like the best app you will ever have download it i promise

This is definitely a nice colorful game and good with the story. 1 issue just started last night though. The mergable items have stopped bouncing to show me what I can merge. This makes it super hard for me to make matches. Is there a fix?

I love this game but it crashes constantly and doesn’t always save my progress. I made sure my iPad is up to date and also made sure MergeFriends is. I hope you can fix this soon, it’s annoying having to start over at a previous level because it didn’t save before it crashed. Thanks!
