hello im having a moisture problem with one of my reveals and was the one i bougth 3 to 4 months ago . what can be done about it . the camara has so much moisture on the lens that i cant see what walks in font of it

I purchased a TACTACAM Reveal in early November 2021. The camera worked perfectly with the exception that water leaked into the camera when it rained. At first my photos came back cloudy and after a time cleared up. However repeated rainy days caused the camera to take in too much water and the cameras eventually stopped working.

I have Tactacam Reveal cameras & have a billing issue to sort out. Can not get Tactacam support or customer service & have been trying for 8 days straight now. They don't answer the multiple emails sent, the zendesk email requests & of course phone calls. Spent hours waiting in a silent hold for someone to answer. Just to annoy a person even more they constantly bombard your email with products they want to sell to you! They should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for their poor or non-existent customer service.

I canceled my service with tactacam, they debited my account for the annual payment of 55.00. After trying to reach them for multiple times and listening to Ed and the birds singing, water gurgling hours, finally reached someone who told me I would receive my refund. That was November 10, today is December 7, still no refund. Sorriest company I have ever had to do business with.

Can not get anyone on the line. It won’t let me make an account and the number to call keeps hanging up on me. This is not promising be my first Reveal camera. I’m thinking of returning it back to Bass Pro and going with another brand. Please let me know something soon.

Tactacam Emily…thank you so much for the canned response!! This is the only response I’ve gotten in a week trying to set up a new camera & no one could take a moment to make a personal phone call!!! I don’t care about your higher than normal call volume! Taking over a week to get a response is unacceptable. Your company may have the best camera on the market but I assure you when the word gets out about your customer service your sales will plummet! Your CEO’s greed for sales & not staffing up for customer service will catch up.

Would like to change my plan but have been put on hold for several hours for several days. The cameras have worked well but every time I have to have customer assistance it takes a act of congress to get it done. They never respond to emails also.

I have been talking to a Tactacam Support since October 25, 2021 and they are not professionals. And now they want me to send them my credit card details before they send me a replacement??? Is it not they should send me a new unit and and email me a return address for the old one?

Can’t get in touch with anyone at company having problems with billing I had a new credit card issued tried to register it for payment they keep trying to bill the old one this has been going on for over a week now they shut my account down I’ve emailed them but to no avail I’m trying to Facebook them now but still no answer I’ve got 3 cameras and about to go and get get stealth cameras at least I can contact a person

My camera takes a picture and sends it in setup mode but when turned to On it won't take or send pictures. Ive sent 3 emails to tactacam and followed that stupid Ed and no results. no-one will return my email or contact me

The problem is "SUPPORT" will not answer my email's. I have sent 3 emails and no response. The website states someone will contact me within 24 hrs after submission, It's been a damn week and nothing for the 3 emails.. All I get is that automated "ED" when I call... REVEAL will not take the update!!! I have 3 cameras. 2 of them worked perfect with the update and 1 will not accept it..

I have 3 of the reveal cameras all worked fine and had service this past hunting season, after the season i has deactivated all three and about 2 months ago I had reactivated wont and had no issues got service within a couple seconds of turning it on but yesterday I had reactivated the other 2 and they will not connect and get a signal. I tried multiple times and setup locations with the same results NO SIGNAL. So can you please help me resolve the problem so I can get signal to them and begin receiving pictures to my phone. Thanks

When I open the tactacam reveal app it tells me to log in so when I do it tells me Incorrect username or password. I changed the password just in case I didn't remember but still the same problem. Never had an issue until today.

Not able to contact you folks by telephone (Land Line) My camera fell over while set up into some weeds last week. Wind was blowing and camera took several hundred pictures. How do I delete them from my phone? Is there a number I can use to contact a real person?

Both of my cameras stopped working on same day (day payment for cell service was due/paid). This happened once before so I went to unlimited service. Customer support says it is my cellular provider but app says I have excellent signal. Customer support then said I had to go to camera to fix- hard since they are 3 hours away. Then after posting bad review, my camera worked for one day. Surely there must be a way to trouble shoot/fix this without me being on site.

Trigger speed is to fast on camera. Takes pic before animal gets in the frame. I tried walking in front of it and it does same thing. If I run by it I will be in the pic. I’ve lowered sensitivity to medium but it didn’t help. I’ve watched deer walk by it on the trail and it misses them. Camera is about 20 feet from trail but distance doesn’t seem to matter

My brand new tactacam reveal wont connect to cell signal. It keeps searching but always says no signal. I drove all over the county and it still says no signal. And yes I followed the directions. The antenna is connected. Batteries are installed correctly and brand new 16 GB sdcard. What do I do. Also I bought a unlimited plan.

Where to start…

I purchased the Tactacam Reveal X camera after my Snyper Cam quit broadcasting via 3G. I was very happy with that set up, and was hoping for something as good with this camera and app combo. My first big issue is with the quality of the pictures sent to my iPhone and computer. The photos are quite small and you must zoom in to try to see the subject in the picture. Unfortunately, the quality is quite often too low to tell what you are looking at (I have the camera set to the highest quality setting). There’s a cost associated with downloading HD photos through the app, and even those leave a bit to be desired. The second issue I have is the app error message stating that “this camera has no photos” and “this account has no cameras”. This happens on both my iPhone and computer. Even as this message is showing, I still get notifications that I have a new photo. Sometimes it corrects it self quickly; other times it takes quite a while to finally be able to view my photos. I love being able to use the app to change settings from anywhere with my iPhone and have them take affect immediately. Unfortunately the issues that I have are likely related to this app and in order to use the camera for remote viewing, I have to use this app. If this persists, I will not be buying additional Tactacam cameras and will change camera manufacturers for next hunting season. The camera seems to be top-notch, but is mostly useless to me because of the app😣

App needs work!

i’ll update the rating if the app starts getting updated. badges should be a simple addition. Banners are a PITA esp when working on something or trying to open a banner from another app when this banner suddenly pops up. A select all deleted function is also great. Sure it’s not needed and it really does nothing but I like to delete all of the photos daily and when they are hitting corn or minerals a lot it’s impossible to keep up with deleting. It’s ashamed a GREAT camera has such a poor app. I’d pay twice as much for the camera if the app was more practical! The only thing Spartan and spypoint does better is the app. I hate to pay 400$ for a camera for the woods but after owning reconyx trail cams i’m spoiled to the best so imo get the app functionality up and tactacam will own the trail cam business. until then they are just blah.

App pictures are terrible

I have yet to pull my SD card from the camera to see the quality of pictures to it. I was really pumped after seeing the 5 star ratings online compared to the other cellular cameras and the price for a cellular camera. I gave 2 stars because the price is good and the setup is simple. The reason I can’t give it any better is the poor quality pictures that comes to the app. I have to leave the camera on 8 MP just to have somewhat of a clear photo I can see from my phone. This is the main reason for wanting a cellular camera and to avoid entering the area every time to check the SD card. If the quality of the photo improves coming to the app to where I can actually set the camera to 24 MP I’d give it a 5 star until then this is where I have to leave it.
