FOX6 Milwaukee: Weather Reviews

This is a huge step forward for the Fox 6 Storm Center App. The only thing is, it would be nice if we could get a different background behind the daily and hourly forecasts. The current background is just too busy. Looking at some other channels in the area that use the same base app (e.g. Channel 3000, NBC 15, CBS 58), the background isn’t as busy and makes the content more legible. I prefer the Fox 6 video forecasts which is why I stick with this one but I prefer the backgrounds the other stations have chosen.

It only asks you to update again because you are opening the old app, instead of the new one. When you download the new app, it is separate from the old one.

When Rachel Kaye was with your station we would get regular weather reports during the day. Now the 5 am report is still running at 3 in the afternoon! When the actual weather situation seems to change much more frequently than that it would help if you keep us up to speed.
Your predicted high and low temps. never jive with your daily report and your hourly!
HOW DO WE UPDATE?!?!

I usually dont do reviews but yall went crazy with this update. it look way more smooth. i just started using it but for now ima give it a four star.

Every time I opened FOX6Milwaukee a pop up asks if I want to update. Every time I hit “update” it took me to FOX6Milwaukee Store where I could open it but not update it. Thought maybe I would force an update by deleting my old app. Now I have NO app on my iPad and I still cannot install the new app. I hate apple products.

Get FOX6Milwaukee working properly it’s annoying and within 1 week. I will be finding another app for doplar if not fixed

Since I installed this new app and only change was FOX6Milwaukee my battery gets drained. I will look for a different weather app soon

When I want to watch the weather videos all I get to se are the commercials and then the video freezes and doesn’t load. I try again then I get to watch the commercials again and once again the weather video doesn’t play.

Your weather app stopped working for me. All I get is a blank screen. I switched over to WISN app for my weather information.

FOX6Milwaukee does not provide any air quality information.

Webcast hasn’t been working lately for some reason.

I wish I could pay extra to avoid that

The update really uses too much data for me to keep on my android phone. So I use it on my IPad, and old version was able to share screen shot of map, or of forecast, etc. now has no option for that. Glad it did not automatically remove my old version of app.... I will continue to use that or try another weather app all together.

I like FOX6Milwaukee , but it alone used almost 2gigs of data. I will be switching to a different app. I can’t have a weather app that uses all of my data.

Since the update it has been burning through data at a ridiculous rate.

FOX6Milwaukee works fine, but every time I open it, I get asked to update.

Every time I try and update it comes back the next day and asks me to update. Hello!!! Is anyone home??? 😜

Way to remove the blog, which used to include the dewpoint forecast. Hate FOX6Milwaukee now, so basic.

Did update..... asks every time to update now...... aggravating

For quite some time now FOX6Milwaukee (map) doesn’t refresh…have to close and reopen it. Also adding a new loc doesn’t work at all…nothing happens when you enter a city or zip code.
