The Spike - Volleyball Story Reviews

This is one of the best games I have ever played and I like that it’s the only free volleyball game that the gameplay is actually exciting. However, I would incorporate a few changes in order to make this game better. First I would make the story mode longer and little more challenging. The story mode now does not adapt to the real result of the game. If you win or lose the story stays the same. Second I would make it easier to get volleyballs and make more options to use coins. Instead of buying everything with volleyballs I would have some items that we could buy with the extra coins we have. Lastly, I would like to see more animations with spikes and be able to upgrade a player from C rank to B rank to A rank using coins. This would make us want to play more in order to upgrade our players to make them the best. I hope you use this information to improve the game.

1. There is some stuff that’s eh but I can get over it. Like when I go to story mode it scrolled all the way down and I have to scroll to where I was before. 2. I do with there was a “retry” button on games and practices. But that’s really it. I see a lot of other ppl complaining about not playing other positions. But if you want to you can. You can upgrade certain stats and play the role. If you want to be spiked you upgrade jump and spike. Blocker, jump. And receiver defense. Game concepts are perfect. I do with there was online mode but other than that it’s super fun. It takes a bit to get the spiking down pat but now I hit every spike I see. 10/10 game

The game overall is very fun, however, there are many glitches in the game that needs attention. When playing against All Star in Story mode, when my team defends and gets the point, the other team also gets the point. I also realized that when the other team’s serve is out of bounds sometimes I don’t receive any point either. One of the main glitches that needs to be fixed are the controls. The controls are sometimes not working when used and it should be fixed to make the gaming experience more fun and better overall. This game is fun but if these glitches are fixed then it will be great to play. Also, please put more story modes because I finished the current ones. Thank you

Im just wondering if yall could maybe make a way to aim your spikes without automatic mode cuz i like automatic mode but i like it better off cuz it makes it more fun and what i like about it is the “long and short” spikes buttons and its pretty hard to aim is far and close i know about the whole it being closer to you but its very hard to do that so im just wondering if yall can make up a way to do that cuz i like being all dramatic when i hit a good spike straight down and all that i think alot of people do too and it just feels really good to do so yeah i was wondering if yall could make it work thank you.

Let me start off by saying I’m a big fan of haikyuu, and volleyball so I was pretty freaked out and hyped to say the least when I saw the game. Where do I start, first off. The controls there is no sense of help and once you’re in the game your a sitting duck because your spiker turns into a blocker. The slides make no sense because they just stand still afterwards. There’s no coordination and there’s hardly a chance to catch the ball because they hit it at like 300 mph. 2 this might just be a small bug but every time I load story mode it’s always on the last part so I have to scroll all the way back to leave where I left off. There’s no sense on how this game is played and your better off playing something ad ridden than this.

This is hands down the best volleyball game currently available for mobile devices. The gameplay is easy to learn, but hard to master and once you do it’s incredibly satisfying. The customization of your characters and team is great, but still has its limitations. There is a wide variety of glitches that still remain unfixed, but none of them make the game unplayable. The main issues with the game is the lack of content and the amount of grinding needed to achieve a small amount of currency (both gold and volleyballs) for a unfulfilling item or upgrade. Some of the things I think would insanely benefit this game would be.

• More quests for unique rewards
• The option to play as middle blocker and setter
• Local and online multiplayer (Vs and Co-op)
• Additional game modes

I really hope this review can help you guys in the future since there are a lot of fans surrounding this game! Can’t wait to see the future of The Spike!

First off, regardless of my perceived hiccups with the game, it’s incredibly fun. I do have a few questions, though: 1. Are you actually able to play a different position? I try to select a different character before games, but I’m always the same player. 2. How do you do feints or soft hits rather than spikes? It seems like there are no buttons to perform these moves, even though the AI does.

This is the best volleyball game I’ve ever played and it’s free but there are something I would like added like number 1. Letting the boys have timeouts this would be amazing because then you could mess up and it would help them and number 2. Online play imagine playing with your friends wouldn’t that be amazing? And I don’t know if you can change what position you play but if you could add that or tell me how it would be very appreciated.

I really thought this was game was gonna to be similar to Captain Tsubasa but without the cool power skills unfortunately, but I don’t mind it because the gameplay is really good and makes up for it. Multiplayer needs to be added soon for sure. Maybe you guys should add a slow mo option into the gameplay when someone spikes the ball or when the player saves it by almost scoring, I think that will make the game more intense as it already is.

One of the best mobile sport games for sure. Gameplay takes some time to getting used to but once you get the timing down you’ll have a lot of fun and will get better in no time. The story mode was simple, but interesting and has a heartfelt conclusion. The music is also really good.

My one piece of advice is to upgrade your player a lot before you play the final game, otherwise you’ll have a lot of trouble against the blocks.

I’m a huge fan of this game it is a lot of fun however, there are a few things that can get annoying.

-for one the game won’t work without internet so it basically forces you to watch the ads when you play which wouldn’t be as bad if there was an online mode
-in the spike practice it is inconsistent to where the ball needs to go in order to be counted as in
- you shouldn’t have to pay the same amount of coins to reduce skill points as to upgrade them
-not only does it take forever to get new characters but I grinded my way through enough ads/story missions to buy a new wing spiker and he turned out to be a lower rank then the one you start with which sucked,
-you should be able to buy most cosmetics with coins I stead of volleyballs

The camera angles for receiving are very awkward at times. Sometimes, the ball is about to hit the ground on my side before i can see where it is. The movement is a bit weird, and holding the jump button to hit the ball is a bit awkward. It should be jump, and after jumping we can tap the button again to hit. This is a suggestion for spiking and serving, instead of it being auto timed. Also, let us have the option to bump or set the ball over if for some reason a hit isnt possible. Overall, the game is good and the idea is cool.

I purchased 1200 volleyballs, but it never showed up. My bank statement shows I paid Apple store, but my volleyball count doesn’t change. Most likely I’ll never get refund because there’s no customer service for this game, or even if there was, everything is set up in Korean.

Also, the sound stopped working for me. The ads have sound, but the game, itself, has no sound.

Otherwise, it’s the best vball mobile game.

This game is super fun. I’m a big fan of volleyball and i love this game and play it all of the time. One bad thing is when you r in story mode it always brings u to the last so u have to scroll back. It’s not a big deal but kinda annoying. It does need an update tho. It’s fun but can get repetitive still one of my favorite games tho and best of all there are no ads

Me and my brother both love this game, it’s super fun and addicting. The tournaments are super challenging and I love it. There’s just a few minor changes I would like, mostly just minor bug fixes, like how the camera isn’t fixed in spike practice. Or gameplay changes like a separate button for receiving and blocking. Other than that, very good game

I really started to to get into volleyball at the beginning of June 2021 so I signed up for a team and I became captain and really enjoyed the experience . So i got hooked to volleyball started playing games and practicing more after all of that i stumbled across this game. It’s so fun and complicated but after practicing a became a beast i love this game so much and i hope you like it as much as me.

I've always wanted to play a good volleyball game and here it is. I never played something like this before. It takes volleyball games to a new level. The controls are fairly easy to understand, but playing the game is amazing. They have almost everything a volleyball game needs. If you are looking for a good game to play, you should give this game a try.

This game is really fun. I love the story mode and the ending. It reminds me of me and my volleyball teammates back in the day. You guys must have worked really hard on this game to create this story mode. My daughter who loves playing volleyball like me also says this game is amazing. Man those days were great. Thank you for reminding me what it was like to be on a team. 5/5

I waited 1 week for this game I pre-installed it and the moment I saw it on my screen I got hooked up to this game. I really love the gameplay it's not too hard I also really like the ending of the story mode and the addition of an extra match once you 3 star all stages. I hope to see more features soon!

If you could add like a lot more to upgrades and you could buy players without volleyballs that would be great because I always hit the max upgrade for only one of the things and annoying because you can’t upgrade anything else I don’t like how people who have this game on like a different consol have way better gameplay then people on mobile and it needs a major update
