I’ve been playing for about a month now. As a general review, I like this game! Lots of game modes to enjoy, good characterization and mechanics that allow you to get better over time. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about PTW, but the game has a random daily rewards that gives you in-game currency like every 7 hours. I just get on twice a day to collect the daily rewards in the shop. Also, the MX Factory challenges give you gear and bike decals upon completion. So really, you can customize your rider early in the game as long as you know where to look for free. Also, there isn’t anything so far that I’ve seen you pay for that’s not just cosmetics, so I’m not sure what exactly is the pay to win component everyone is mentioning…

My main complaints are two things: the ads are the first. I had the game no more than 2 days and decided to buy the ad remover (my only purchase so far). That on its own made the experience way better. It was giving me an ad after every single track completion, which quickly became annoying. But secondly, the wheelie scrub tutorial is horribly difficult to complete. While the other tutorials have the NPC trainer “mess up” a small section giving you a chance to beat it, the wheelie scrub requires you to be near perfect compared to the rest. I’ve been stuck on it for a week and I’m starting to get frustrated. But other than that, I like the game!

I have been playing msmx since the very first game and I can say that if 2 had the ability to whip like this game it would be a no brainer that it’s a better game. What I’ve noticed with this game other than the fact that you practically have to spend money to actually enjoy/progress in the game, the whole upgrading bikes thing, having 2 currency’s, and instead of simply winning races to move to the next bike you have to complete the stupid challenges and with that it seems like the fun tracks have the dumbest challenges while the more difficult tracks have the easy ones. On occasion ofc. Some of the challenges you get presented with make absolutely no sense and I think the game was better when all you had to do is win races. Not do a double back flip to a 2 second wheelie. Also with the challenges sometimes it’s impossible to completely all of them at once while still winning the race. This game has many flaws that plenty of people notice and comment on still the devs don’t seem to care, aslong as they get their money right. I see the potential without a doubt but the game still has so much refining to be done.

I love this game so much don’t get me wrong, but I also find some of the aspects annoying. Unlike other motocross games (which are very hard to come along), this is in a strait rhythm. It gives me vibes of the Red Bull straight rhythm race. Which can be good or bad? I wish they had a joystick touch screen option to implement supercross into the game. I wish they also had other super cross modes where it was not a straight rhythm. If it were more like mxgp games or supercross games I think more people would be invested in it.

I also wish rhythms were in the game. Like double double triple. Or triple triple quadruple. This would make the game more fun in general, and more people would play this. This may be asking a lot for a mobile game, but I would find it super cool to see supercross (not in a straight like) in the game, or a pure rhythm track, or even maybe a track editor. Doing all of this would be awesome. It would kind of remind me of mx vs atv legends. That’s all I’ve got, but overall great game.

This Game could be awesome. I say could be awesome but it is far from awesome the only thing awesome about this game is how awesomely BAD it is. ITS PAY TO WIN.
Whoever decided to make the duel races where you race level 1 bike against level 6 bike fully upgraded was brilliant. If I could meet that person and shake their hand I would because that person should be the next president. I mean how awesome is it for somebody who has bike 1 with a few upgrades to go and do a duel race against someone has bike 6 fully upgraded it’s just really fantastic in my opinion I wish other games and other things in this world were very similar to this where you could be so under ranked and still compete against a professional. it’s really like 6year old playing T-ball baseball and playing against a professional baseball team. . How great is that. This game is a PAY TO WIN GAME.
And once you get over 3000 points for the duel races that’s it, Your done & you can’t advance anymore in less you pay to win. Because the game keep pairing you up with people who have higher bikes.

I love the updates in this version from Mad Skills MX 2. Gameplay is similar, but slightly better. Better graphics, and I love the bike mods!

I would have given a 5 star, however the bikes themselves are so difficult to unlock through game achievements that it takes a lot of the fun away. In mad skills 2 they bike unlocks were difficult, but still felt achievable. Going from level 3 bike to level 4 is pretty ridiculous, and makes it feel like a pay-to-win. I made actually purchases in 2, but on principle I enjoyed unlocking the bikes myself, made me feel like I’d earned them! Plus I can’t really progress any farther into the career or multiplayer (at least competitively) without the next level bike. This essentially makes it pay-to-play, unless I want to replay the same levels over and over.

Overall, it’s a great game, but unlocking the next level bike needs to be more achievable.

I remember when this first came out and you had a lot of ads in the game and people did not like the new bike earning system and slightly pixel-y graphics, but you read every review and took suggestions and creating what I believe is truly the best simulation of dirt bike racing on a phone. I have had no issues besides my controls messing up randomly, (Rarely) but I think two things could change, but if you don’t end up changing anything I am fine with it, just suggesting:

The first thing I think could be changed is indeed the cash for the bikes. I feel like it was more fun to have to challenge yourself to different things for bikes, instead of taking time for coins for almost everything.

My second and last thing I think you could change is the shape of the helmet for different gear sets and brands. I personally think the shape of the helmet is kinda ugly, (no offense) but I don’t really care too much about it, however I think it would be cool.

At first, the game was pretty cool and I liked the two stroke four stroke thing, graphic changing, and all the new stuff added. But then u play the game for a week and realize that to get enough coins and all for the next bike up you will be playing for a pretty long time. The only way around it is paying real cash for the game. Don’t get me wrong a couple bucks here and there is fine, and tbh I have a pretty good amount of money in mad skills mx 2. But I’m not gonna spend 50 bucks for it. And in my opinion, mad skills mx 2 has much more of a skill gap I guess you could say. Like there’s fast then there’s really really fast and really really fast is so hard to get to. In this game it seems there’s not much room to improved compared to the last game. But all in all, the game is great and has more content and things to do, just seems like a money grab and is just not as much room to improve as the second game.

Like most other reviews say, this game is amazing, and it’s a huge improvement from the second game. From the first bike, to bike 3, the grind is worth it and fair. But once you get passed bike 3, the bikes and parts get extremely expensive and hard to get without getting the Pro subscription, which would be fine, except the pro subscription costs the same as a Netflix subscription. This is not a console quality game, nor does it provide as much content as other subscription services. $12/ month is just ridiculous for a phone game. If you guys made it more affordable, or made the pay outs on races/ challenges more profitable, it would be a 5 star game. Even 1st place in online events barely pays out enough for a single upgrade on bike 4 and beyond. Thanks for taking the time to read this review, I hope to see this changed soon.

What happened?! I used to play this game every day for hours at a time and my phone never got hot. Suddenly I can’t play more than a few minutes before my iPhone gets super hot!
I don’t know if there’s some poor coding with the new “Nitro” gimmick or what, but it needs to be fixed. I love this game, but I won’t burn out my phone to play it.
Also, I notice you’ve slowly been removing nice features, (like the Store free coins, then the 3 ad triple level payoff system), and you keep increasing the number of ads we have to endure.
This game is one of the best mobile games ever. Period. Please don’t ruin it by getting too greedy, like so many other games have done.

I've been playing this game for probably over 2 months now and really liked it in the beginning. The graphics for a "cell phone" game were excellent and the track variations kept me interested. But then I realized after FINALLY getting bike 4, that it was going to be nearly impossible to earn enough silver to upgrade to bike 5. I consistently play every day, I play the championships (which it's not easy to earn big silver on), I play the every Jam event when it opens, and try and complete all track tasks. I'm looking at probably another month or so of boring game play and I might (and that's a far fetched might) earn enough silver to earn bike 5. It's ridiculous the price to upgrade. The developer is losing out on a lot of players due to the expense but don't really seem to care. Good luck with this game.

Pretty alright for a phone game. A bit better than 2. 3 has lots of things better and the two things I could say I don’t agree with is
1. Not feeling all the coin and cash and rewards things. Feel like it would be better having one points system and allowing bonuses for accomplishments.
2. I get your trying to make money selling coins and unlocking bikes and whatnots, but make it a smidge sooner we can reach goals to be able to unlock next bikes. I’ll be 3 races from the last of a series and maxed out on power but cannot go any further cause I can’t get a rhythm section correct without a faster bike. Now stuck, I’m playing far less than I was and that’s no good for the ads or creators of the game.
Just my 2 cents.

If the title isnt enough to convince you, i have over 150 hours in this game. I have beat the career long ago and have a team where I help people. This game is super fun and enjoyable. I could lose myself for hours in end. According to other reviews this game is “pay to win.” These people are the impatient butts that put less than an hour into the game then delete. The game is fully completable in less than 24 hours in game time. Of course that takes a lot of focus, but ya. This game is grindy and definetely frustrating at times, but that is how it has to be. This game is so much fun, and its free so try it out! Good luck!

This game is really cool, but there’s three things that a lot of people don’t like. 1. It’s hard to earn coins, plus, you need to spend a lot of them to upgrade your bike, and buy new ones. 2. The bikes, the real problem here is the cost of the bikes, bike 1 is free, bike 2 is about 1,000 coins, bike 3 about 4,000 coins, but bike 4 is 12,000 COINS! I bought bike 3, and had about 400 coins left, which ment that I have to get 12K coins to get bike 4. The price is not reasonable. It went from 4K to 12K! Bike 4 is 8K more coins than bike 3. 3. The Mx Factory Challenges, the only problem with them is the bike they give you, in my opinion that bike is overpowered. It has too much power which makes it hard to control, which also makes some challenges extra hard.

It really is one of the best games I’ve played ever. However, The biggest issue I have is you get somewhat penalized for being good. Not bragging by any means, but the more points you gain in Duel, the more you lose if you get beat. Example: I was at 12,800 and raced someone at say 12,500 and won and received 1 point. If I lose, I lose 39points. So even if I win 39races and lose 1, I’m right back where I started. I don’t mind it being a little unbalanced, but that’s ridiculous. I hope this gets fixed, because it’s really making me not want to play Duel mode anymore, and I play it daily. Please consider changing that.

Awesome game. I would like to add suggestions. Allow the player to choose when they respawn because I always get cut off when I’m about to watch a cool crash. Also add a thing where the character collides with the bike because when you crash, you go right through it. And if you fall from a far distance and land wrong, you should fall off. This game has great crashes but it’s missing a few things. I would appreciate it if you listened to what I said. Thank you

This game was very fun initially; however, it becomes nearly impossible to upgrade the bikes through game play alone without spending money. I enjoy the championship races and there comes a point where you can no longer participate without paying money because the payouts are not enough to purchase the required bike to have a shot at progressing. I have logged 20hrs on the game and it is basically a dead end if you don’t want to pay. I was able to upgrade to bike 4 after a couple of days playing. It’s been about 2 weeks and I am not even half way to obtaining enough game coins for bike 5. It definitely gets boring if you are like me and are interested in the championship portion of the game.

As the title says the game play and game in general is absolutely amazing. A lot of new features from the 2nd installment (whoever came up with the whips idea deserved a raise). However the prices of things are absolutely absurd your almost forced to pay real world money for coins which are an absurd cost for an amount that will hardly get you the 5th bike. Trying to upgrade the bikes/buy the next bike to keep up with campaign mode is nearly impossible i like a little grind in my games but this is too much. Over all the game is great and perhaps a little adjustment in the cost of things would certainly net this game a 5 star review without a doubt

MadSkillsMotocross3 has moved towards an absolute money hog. I’ve been playing since the OG came out. Being able to level up on bikes without spending money was the best. The developers have gotten extremely selfish with allowing us to just play a game for what it is. I know things cost money…but getting to home 5 I need to spend an extra $25 to have enough coins to purchase it so I can’t continue on with the game because I’m stuck on a track that doesn’t allow me to win no matter what line I take. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Please fix this. Let me buy the game for $25 so I can play in full and win bikes when I win all the races in the respective category.

As others have said It was fun until…it’s not!! they’ve made it way too expensive to collect coins to upgrade bikes !! Again as others have stated this is a cell phone game not a console game I would never pay 10-12 bucks a month for this game just to win a video game! I also already paid the 5.00$ to get rid of the ads which was a waste of money truly! Even if you bought upgrades it would cost you way too much to keep up !! Im only on the Arizona level with the 3rd bike and the suggest bike 5, only way to get 5 is buy it or watch 1000 ads! Good game just a money pit to win ! I’ll keep grinding before I give all my money to a cell phone video game !!

This is such a great game, BUT it’s just a money trap!!!!!! You have to win coins and gold to upgrade bikes, but the problem is you can’t win enough without the upgrades. Then you finally get enough to upgrade so you can win but you change levels and your right back in the same sinking boat!!!!! You can buy the bikes if you want to dump at least $50 a month to stay competitive as you move up but at that price your going to be $400 bucks in to a free game!!!!! There is no way to win at this unless you open your wallet every week and hand over your money.................... long time mad skills moto player going to go back to mad skills moto 2 and just enjoy the game without having to take a loan out to pay to play

This game is soooo good I just don’t mean that I mean really REALLY like this game thanks for making it I love it so much I hope this game will never get deleted don’t make something new that not like the game no more I be mad because this game is good and better than most dirt bike games thank you who ever made this game THANK YOU!!!!!!!! The game is a great update from 2. Even playing 2 I thought you would t be able to out do yourself and you did. You changed game play but the racing and tracks are still the best. My only suggest would be too make bikes unlock-able by tasks. Whilst also charging gold or silver to pay for parts, gear, and decals. Maybe add other things to buy with good like you have gold to buy silver. Lol the two currency thing is weird to me also. Other than that l e the game. Marketing idea. Take the top racers and show case their best races. I often wonder how people put down such fast times with the same power bike as mine. If you could throw in best races even best whips by world and regions. ( I throw the best whips In the game if you ask me.) all in all great play enjoy the update and daily goals and challenges can’t wait to see what teams are about.

This game is awesome! I have been a fan since the beginning. Now, I’m talking about actually playing the game. If you want to get past the second bike, it will cost you $50 to upgrade to bike 3! I wouldn’t mind shelling out a little coin for a cool game, but $50??? Then what happens when I want to upgrade to bike four, or five?? $100?? $200?? Forget it! And there’s no way around it! You can’t race enough to earn the next bike up, so if you’re not willing to throw $50-$100 as you progress, do not waste your time! It’s too bad too, the game is a blast!!!

I get these games need revenue especially when they are free to download and play, but there becomes a point when it’s not enjoyable to play because everything you do in the game comes with an ad behind it. Wanna race? Ad, Finished a race? Ad, Upgrade your bike? Ad. It’s constant ads in this game and if you wanna actually progress and buy bikes you gotta watch the double currency ads too, otherwise your grinding already played races to try and earn enough coins to buy upgrades.

When I first loaded up the game I was bombarded with 6 ads within the first 5 minutes of gameplay. That’s too much! I wish they would make the game like the old MadSkillsMX 2 just with the new content and modes. I’m deleting this and going to try and find a game out there that doesn’t have so many ads. Probably will be impossible.

The game is fun. Actually a lot of fun. Fun enough to justify spending 10 bucks to get rid of the adds. It would honestly be 5 stars if that was that. What bums me out is the game punishes you for progressing or grinding.

10 bucks gets rid of adds. You can earn money by: events, daily goals, team jams etc. awesome. You can also earn money by watching ads. Fair enough.

What’s questionable however is that as you progress in the game, the ads stop working. Like you’re told you’ll get some nominal amount of $ for watching an ad. Watch it. No money. I watch it again. No money. Sometimes you have to watch it 4-5 times to get the money. Lame.

And the daily goals get less the further you get. Daily goals being another way to make money. So now you have less goals. And have to repeatedly watch ads to get enough money to do anything.

So despite spending 10 bucks, which isn’t a ton admittedly, you end up grinding to get ahead. But they make grinding more and more difficult the further you get.

If the ads worked, this game would be flawless. The game play is fun. The graphics are reasonable. It take enough skill to not get boring. I played to the end, which took months.

Look I love love this game. But imo, y’all ask too much for too little rewards. (Career mode)I wouldn’t mind watching ads for some rewards. The challenges y’all ask to do, are really good! And I enjoy them! But only 40 or however many silver per, is a little low looking at upgrades. And being basically forced now to buy the 3rd bike with money(9.99$), to be able to keep up in comp. And it honestly I’m scared to see how much bike 4 is gonna cost. makes me feel as if I don’t wanna play it. Also the gold is expensive! It either takes a ridiculous amount of grinding. Or real money to keep up, again. I love this game! But it just seems a bit more money motivated than casual grinding.

I love the game and play everyday my only issue is the season pass rewards there is gear from previous seasons like livery’s and outfits that you can see on the menu but they are permanently locked and the only way to unlock them is to have earned them during the previous season like what’s the point of even having it there for us to see knowing that we can never obtain it at least make it to where if you didn’t win it during the season you can pay to get it after the season but there is so much awesome gear from previous seasons that I really like and want but sadly I can only look at it and it’s very frustrating either let people buy it or just get rid of it completely cuz it just makes no sense “this item is an exclusive of season __” like really the season passed and it’s not like you can go back to previous season please do something about this

At first I thought it was a great game. However once you reach bike 4 the cost of the upgrades exponentially increase as well as the next bike. At 22,000 coins and competing in bike 5 territory on bike 4 you can win 30 coins per win. Do the maths….. that’s 733 races you have to WIN to be able to afford bike 5. Then the astronomical amounts to upgrade of course…. And no more tracks unlock to get more per race because all the bikes you compete against are 3-500 above your lower class bike. If your perfect you might make it to bike 6 territory (competing against bike 6 riders). You won’t consistently win enough to make it worth while for the extra 5 coins…. So you’ll grind forever like I did for bike 4…. At like 12,000…. That’s a bargain I guess….
I should also mention that they don’t give you $ amounts for what coins/gold cost. Just a “click here for more”. They have bundles… That money would be better spent putting fuel in your actual bike…. It would be cheaper and probably more fun. The last game I hit the pay wall on I deleted. Even after paying they still wanted more to be competitive….
The creators need to get a bucket of sand and proceed to grab handfuls to pound up their own asses….
Was a great game though…. If you want to mortgage your house to play.

For a while now the world was watching me in a way I couldn’t possibly have expected it was going on and then it started raining again so it started to get really hot so we started getting a lot more rain in here so we had a little more sun in there so we got some rain in there so it started to get to where it was supposed be and I got some more sun but I was still in bed so it didn’t really bother us and it started to rain so we just started getting out and then I went and got a shower so it was kind a bit warmer and I didn’t get a shower but it didn’t really feel good and then we got up to the house so we had a good night sleep in and I got a little tired but it wasn’t bad I just felt really bad I was tired but it didn’t hurt at the end but I just feel really good I was just really sore I just feel tired I understand and I’m not really feeling well I don’t feel good but I’m tired but I’m not feeling like I’m tired so I just feel like I’m tired
