STAY AWAY! You will lose money and NOT be able to record without paying more again, and then requesting refund(which you may or may NOT get back). I bought this and had it for about 3 months. I should have never spent that much money on it but I forgot I bought it. When I needed to use it I was welcomed with a message to purchase it. Well I checked and it billed it to me, but I purchased AGAIN and asked apple to refund me the month I paid, and apple did. But then it did it to me again! So I asked for my money back and didn’t get it this time even after an appeal. This company rips you off making you keep buying it but never acting like you laid. They need to fix VoiceMemosSoundRecorder, and I can’t find anyway to get to VoiceMemosSoundRecorder creator. STAY AWAY because they will say you never bought it and make you pay for it again before you can start recording with it. There are many other great applications out there that do the same thing and for much less than this $9.99 or yearly price.

I downloaded VoiceMemosSoundRecorder because I needed a reliable app to record dreams upon waking. Since they are fleeting, recording is the easiest way to go, as long as VoiceMemosSoundRecorder works. On my second use, I recorded a dream and went to save the recording for my later meditation, but it would not save, it would take me to a screen that prompted me to subscribe. Recognizing that I was being required to subscribe just to save the recording, I did, knowing that, at least I wouldn’t lose my efforts for the time being. But even after subscription, the prompt to subscribe still appeared “suggesting” I subscribe. When I hit subscribe again, I was told I was already subscribed, but still could not escape the screen telling me to when I tried to save. When I made to exit the recording, it would prompt me with a message asking if I was sure I wanted to exit because my recording was unsaved and would be lost.
I’ll be deleting VoiceMemosSoundRecorder. I dislike being cornered into a subscription at all but it is even worse when I lose my work regardless.

I downloaded VoiceMemosSoundRecorder to record class lectures to review again later while studying. The first two recordings I had no problems with, however, the third lecture I recorded would not let me save. When I would click save a pop up suggesting I subscribe to a premium account to save my work appeared. Figuring I needed the recording I subscribed, but when I went back to save it again the pop up KEPT APPEARING! When I tried to click subscribe again it said I was already subscribed but would still not let me save my recording!!! I went out of VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and when I went back the whole recording was gone. I’ll be deleting and unsubscribing, but I wish I could get my money back for this useless “premium subscription”.

I paid for the subscription as I was needing to access the iCloud services marketed in VoiceMemosSoundRecorder . After buying this subscription, it’s still showing the screen that says I need to buy a premium account. So I exit out and go back into VoiceMemosSoundRecorder thinking it needs time to process but it’s still showing me the screen that says “Get premium to access everything!”, this time turning my phone on and off, same thing, same message. My Apple id and bank both have the deduction that shows I’m subscribed to VoiceMemosSoundRecorder , but I am yet to see the truth from it that I expected. I can’t even record any audios on VoiceMemosSoundRecorder at all at this point. I’m dissatisfied and disappointed with VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and it taking my money.

The actual functioning of VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is fine but once you record up to a certain amount they ask you to subscribe for $10 a month. Which is steep but I needed it for some work so I decided to purchase. However… in the middle of recording an important work interview , I tried to save the audio recording and it popped up with the prompt to purchase the subscription (as if I hadn’t purchased it already) and would not let me save even after I tried to say I had bought the subscription. I closed VoiceMemosSoundRecorder but then I lost the audio file. This happened twice before I went to Apple and got a refund.

I don’t like VoiceMemosSoundRecorder at all. Because a few weeks ago I just tested VoiceMemosSoundRecorder . I saw my sister’s voice recording because me and my sister shared the same phone. I just recorded my singing and added it on my phone. When I clicked my singing I really liked it! Everything was going well. Until one time.. I decided to go on again. When I clicked the icon games to record another singing video. I literally had to pay 7$ just to make another video and when I saw it again it said. (Only 3 days free) and I was like What!? Like I only had to make a 1 song in three days??? I was literally so mad. I immediately deleted VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and threw my phone (luckily it didn’t break) but still. I was mad. If you don’t believe me then go see for yourself. Thank you!

I like VoiceMemosSoundRecorder but it’s not surprising to what I need it to do. I have set VoiceMemosSoundRecorder to record upon opening, but unfortunately, it keeps going to an advertisement to upgrade to pro or try for free. I already have a subscription. The reason I downloaded VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is that I am in a domestic abuse relationship and I need it to start recording as soon as I hit the button to open VoiceMemosSoundRecorder . How do I get rid of the advertisement as soon as I open VoiceMemosSoundRecorder ? It’s very frustrating that it keeps popping up, even though I’ve already paid for a year subscription. Once you fix the bug for this, I will give her a five star.

I rated this three stars instead of four due to some problems. It does seem to do more of what I wanted than other apps out there- record and transcribe and view the transcription while listening to the recording. However, it has some faults. 1. The recording and playback works very well. 2. The transcriptions work pretty good, but the few mistakes need edited. VoiceMemosSoundRecorder lets you edit but does not save the edit. If you go out and come back, the original transcript is there and not your edits. 3. The notes section allows you to put in notes, but it does not save the notes. If you go out and come back in the notes you entered are not there. If there are save buttons for the transcription editing and the notes editing, I did not see them. If they add a save button for those two areas (or tell me where it is), I would give it a four or five star rating.

I like VoiceMemosSoundRecorder , I’m a freshman in high school and having a bit of a hard time keeping up with the fast pacing of my teachers. Especially biology, so this is great to review what I learned for the day. Also love how it continues to record even though my phone shuts off and while going through other apps. Though I wish the volume could be more higher or louder. Because it is really noisy in class and I want to be able to hear clearly, the recording is also a bit quite. I don’t necessarily need anything more from VoiceMemosSoundRecorder other than recording lessons. But I do wish there were more features. Seems a little underdeveloped but still great for just recording lessons.

So VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is great for note taking and transcribing your notes into text. The issue I am running into is how to organize the voice recordings into the folders I’ve created? I have attempted to drag and drop but does not appear to be a feature, I also tried clicking the arrow to the right of each voice not but it does nothing.. I am on an iPhone 14 Pro. It would be great if the dev can look into this or provide simple in app instructions for how to put your recordings into folders.

I’m glad I can easily use this voice recorder app and have it play while I access other apps. That makes it easy to listen to an audio track while I write and sing lyrics. Some apps close if you go to another app, but this voice recorder app stays open in the background even if you open another app like Notes. The only problem so far is that I selected the repeat track icon, but the music did not repeat, so that’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Otherwise, I really like it a lot.

I’ve enjoyed VoiceMemosSoundRecorder - the audio quality is good, the file sizes are manageable, the UI is clean and easy to use.

My one complaint is how easy it is to lose an entire recording. My first recording was lost because I hit save but didn’t name my file before closing, so it never actually saved.

I had another recording lost because mid-interview I got a phone call, which I declined. But apparently that stopped the recording and did not save or start a new recording afterwards, so I lost everything both before and after the call and didn’t realize it until the end when I went to stop recording and save

Excellent app, one major problem. When I push the Save Button my recording should be saved. I should not have to press save twice. Many times have I save only to find later that VoiceMemosSoundRecorder did not save my recording at all because i had not pressed save a second time. I should not be able to record anything new or move to a new task while the prior recording is in some half saved limbo state requiring me to push save a second time. If my recording is not either saved permanently or purposely discarded I should not be able to do anything else in VoiceMemosSoundRecorder .

I first used VoiceMemosSoundRecorder years during a past life regression session and it recorded the whole 2 hour session perfectly. Now I use it all the time for little memos or to record academic conversations that I need to review at later times. I only wish there was an option to pause a recording, rather than make a new one every time you need to pause. This would be helpful for notes-to-self, that I’d like to playback and listen to in one straight run rather than individually clicking each memo. Side note, the video version of VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is equally wonderful.

I spend a lot of time writing things down so I can better remember them later, and sometimes that takes up a large part of my day. I used to write by hand, but that easily became a mess as I journaled more and more. I switched to typing and it is a lot better, but still not exactly what I was looking for. I have been playing with VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and it already is great. I use the transcribe feature, then just paste it into my journaling. Only thing is I wish the names of the files could be longer. A great app!

Jesus Christ the transcription feature is amazingly good. I’m going to use this all the time! Is there a setting for recording phone calls?

The design is brilliantly done to allow plenty of space between controls for fewer accidents and it’s pretty intuitive. What didn’t seem to work like I would think it should is that I ought to be able to navigate to any sub directory and start a recording there that gets placed there too. Maybe in an update 😊 Overall it’s an excellent program that does beautiful recordings very easily and the transcription feature puts it over the moon, very well done.

Seems like a good little app for songwriting and keeping all variations and ideas related to a song in one folder which I can’t do in voice memos. Been looking for this functionality for a while and glad to have found it and while the UI isn’t as clean as voice memos it seems to have most of the same functionality. One piece that is missing is the ability to edit existing clips, but not a huge deal. The transcription idea is pretty cool just wish there a way to save the transcription as a text only file in a folder with a bunch of recordings….feature request if the developer is reading this?

God has been speaking to me recently, through the Holy Spirit. Showing me visions; not movie style, but more like snapshots. As I sat on my front porch, very early this morning, I received another vision. This kicked off a long thoughtful process, which encompassed some unknown time period.
Realizing the need to capture my thoughts, I decided to check VoiceMemosSoundRecorder store for voice recorders.
I found one and downloaded it. Only to find it changed a monthly fee. App deleted!
The next app found was this one. Scanning down, looking for features (or so I thought), I tapped the first review available. The review was from someone saying how VoiceMemosSoundRecorder was a blessing from God, and how it is being used in mighty ways to spread the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Needless to say, this will be the only app I need. My search was over.
Oh, by the way, my first test recording? It was great!

Hello, VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is really helpful for recording my college classes so I can go back and re-listened to what my instructor said. But I am running into a problem, anytime I start recording and set my phone down so it can record the background audio while it’s sitting there. It closes VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and doesn’t save my recording, I know when I turn off my phone VoiceMemosSoundRecorder is still working in the background and there is a little orange bar showing it’s still recording. But after a few seconds when my phone is off, it closes VoiceMemosSoundRecorder and stops the recording without saving it. What can I do to fix this problem or is it a problem with VoiceMemosSoundRecorder ?

I barely got this application this morning and I tried it. It works very well however I had to hesitate in what I was saying regarding my prayer so that I could get my thoughts straight and that I caused a pause in my completing my prayers. Now I have to find out how to edit my prayer and play it back. I will get back to you and give you further feedback to let you know how I do in editing my prayer.
