What happened to the lifetime purchase option?

I downloaded VisualScheduleDailyRoutine and spend around $44 to keep it forever last year and now this year when I went to update my chores VisualScheduleDailyRoutine displays a monthly or yearly price for premium. It will not allow me to look at any of my daily chore lists I made. It appears they removed the “lifetime” purchase option in favor of monthly and yearly payments. I have no use for VisualScheduleDailyRoutine anymore because I refuse to spend a lot of my money on premiums.

No parent log in

I just purchased VisualScheduleDailyRoutine. For $25 not realizing that you as a parent can not create a profile for your child. I downloaded VisualScheduleDailyRoutine on my phone to set up the schedule only to find out I wasted my time and that on my child’s app on her iPad doesn’t show the schedule I worked hard on very disappointed in wasting $25 plus tax came up to $28 it’s definitely not worth $28 the icons are also very limited to your choices. I truly wish I could get my money back because I will not be using VisualScheduleDailyRoutine. Just a waste of money

Fun App but doesn’t sync & you can’t share schedules

VisualScheduleDailyRoutine when purchased does most of what you’ll want but you can’t share/sync the schedules you create, which pretty much makes it a nuisance to use if your kids have their own phones/iPads. My kids also have days at their dads house so I can’t check on their progress while they aren’t at my house. Would really be helpful if the sharing/syncing feature was there.
I paid for it and now cant effectively manage or update for my kids. Chalked it up to a waste of money.
Gave it 2 stars because it’s cute and has potential.

Closest to what I’m looking for

VisualScheduleDailyRoutine is almost exactly what I’m looking for. A lot of apps have like calendar planning—I don’t want to put my daughter’s entire routine on every day of the calendar. That would be way too cluttered. Some of them are more like lists that you cross off and then the items disappear. I don’t want that either. This colorful app is designed exactly to follow a kid’s consistent routine every day, which is what I really wanted. It was the only one I could find that’s designed exactly like this.

It is kind of expensive for the limited functions, to be honest. Some of the other apps I tried had way more functions and cost less. I know that the pricing is going to vary but I would appreciate a little bit more functions for the price I am paying, but that’s ok. I know things cost money BUT.

The absolute biggest change that I would REALLY like to see is the ability to share the routine with different people. Currently, I have this routine set up on just my phone only, but if I could share it with my husband and allow him to access it as well, that would make me SO happy. As far as I can tell, this is not currently possible. Add this feature and my review would be 5/5!

Great potential

I wish that it had a little more. I wish that there were more icons to choose from (not all are relatable to the task); although there is an option to add your own picture (just not convenient and time consuming); also when you include your own picture, it doesn’t automatically switch to that image. In addition, I wish there was an option to choose song/sounds for each task that way when a child hears the sound/song they know what it is associated with. Great idea and concept, is effective in action.

Helpful

My daughter works well with visual schedules but the Velcro schedules were getting old. This has been great.
Not as intuitive as I would like and I would love more variety of pictures to choose from but for the little bit I have used it I like it

App improvements

I was trying to create this list for my daughter. I never could figure out how to share VisualScheduleDailyRoutine with her.

Side note: my daughter has special needs. I’m trying to teach her independence. So I’m looking for a scheduling app we can share so I can monitor if she is staying on task. Which you can do by the way.

In my opinion it was not user friendly when I first started using it. However, the improvements seemed to help. For example, I like that I can import information. Therefore, I don’t have to constantly retype repetitive tasks.

Please read

I would rate you five stars but it makes your schedule not me making it so please improve that

Would be better if:

It would be better if there was a way to lock the schedule with a passcode AND have a schedule that isn’t time based at all.

I would love to see this options as I’m in the ABA field and I think something like this would be incredibly beneficial for in home.

Increase Task Limit Without Imposing A Trial Period

I wish I could add more tasks (10ish vs the 1-2 it allows) without having to immediately be forced to begin a trial period. Seemed super simple and not too flashy for my 8 year old to manage on her own. The subscription price is really good, I would just rather not be forced to sign up right away. Maybe I’ll come back to VisualScheduleDailyRoutine another time but for now I’ll stick to some other one that allows a tad bit more tasks without that trial period.

Has been very helpful so far

As a special education teacher I can say that VisualScheduleDailyRoutine has thought of just about everything for children who need visual support. There are timers for every activity (focus). There is a little celebration at the end of every task (motivation). I love it!

If I was speaking directly to the creator, I'd request that there be a greater library of photos to use. There are not enough to really get specific w the task names.

Love it. Very helpful.

My only suggestions would be 1) the ability to change the background to something solid 2) an ability to physically move the tasks around rather than having to change the time on it. Kind of like a drag and drop. Otherwise it has been very very helpful for us!

It’s Great

I am nine and I forget a lot of stuff and I’m in fourth grade so I download VisualScheduleDailyRoutine so I could remember stuff and do my homework it from number for my room and my mom has a hard time to keep reminding me stuff so I told her to get me VisualScheduleDailyRoutine I was going to help me with my stuff and my reading all my stuff that I have to remember to do so I really like this thing and it really helps me

definitely get this game

this game has barely any ads and I think everyone should really get it because it’s really good for kids even the adults you can make schedules and it’s not just for kids. It could be for adults and anyone really there’s a lot things that you could do with it it does cost a little bit of money. That’s why I gave it a four star rating but yeah so, there is limited things but that’s OK because who cares I mean it’s a game that can help kids really get into their habits so yeah.

Easy to use, great for individual who have ADD, ASD or anyone

Love VisualScheduleDailyRoutine! Very simple and easy to use. Good icons, nice uses of color. Helps the kids and I stay on track of goals and routines. Confetti pops out when you check something off the list which the kids love but does not distract them from the next task.

Ok

Could use better pictures. Should have a way for parents to be notified the child do their visual without parent having to spy on them. I understand everyone is out to make money, I feel the price is a bit steep for what we get.

Easy to use

I have taught special education for 19 years and have made hundreds of visual schedules. VisualScheduleDailyRoutine is easy to use. I can make a schedule in minutes! I love how you can choose from their clipart or upload actual pictures.

Perfectly suited for our kids

We settled for the free portion of VisualScheduleDailyRoutine rather than the premium. This is out of habit so that we can explore VisualScheduleDailyRoutine first. we know straight away that it loads quickly and is easy to set up.
We used it to schedule a typical weekday with school, homework, breaks, chores, bath and bedtime. You can select a start time and label each item in the schedule. There's a small image you can use next to each activity in case your child is having difficult reading or is a younger age.
It was perfect.

The best I’ve tried!

I am an adult with inattentive ADHD and DID. I’ve used many scheduling and to-do list apps for adults that were very functional but didn’t work for me. Then I looked to see if there were apps for ADHD and there were, but lucky me! I found this one, aimed at children!
Bright colors, cute icons, sounds, confetti, and my daily schedule repeats, all I have to do is uncheck the boxes (I haven’t found a way for it to repeat without doing this but there may be one… it’s not a bother to do it).
I love it and it’s working for me like nothing else has! As a former kindergarten and first grade paraeducator, I know that this is spot on for kids with ADHD!!!

Helps our morning routine!

VisualScheduleDailyRoutine is wonderfully simple and works wonders to keep our kids on track for getting ready for school in the mornings! I love that the list is in word and picture form for the different ages/learning level of my kids. I also love that each task has a visual timer and that there is a confetti celebration when they mark a task off as completed!
