We have been playing Shapeys for the last year on ABCmouse, and all of a sudden this month they have decided to remove Shapeys from MyMathAcademy and require a new subscription to continue. This is frustrating for many reasons, as my daughter was used to going back and forth from her learning path, to Shapey land, and the reading section. I don’t want to pay a double monthly subscription for something we’ve been using all this time.

One thing my son like about the shapeys on ABC mouse was unlocking the videos. Now we aren’t unlocking anything and just collecting coins, for what! I don’t know? Another subscription is we have to pay thanks to ABC mouse. We had play this for 2 years and this is just terrible. Bring the old way back! There’s also a lot of glitches with MyMathAcademy.

My child worked through shapies on ABC mouse for the entire pandemic earning so much progress and then you decide you want more money and remove the only decent math exercises from that app to create its own app and double your subscription fees. Way to swindle children out of math skills.

This was part of a ABCMouse and they spun it off into its own app with no warning and are charging almost 10 a month for it. You should be ashamed of yourself . I’ve been on ABC Mouse for 4 years with my children what you did was wrong you will be losing business from me.

We tried for 30 minutes to find our favorite shapies on ABC Mouse. I finally contacted customer support and learned that shapies was moved to another $$$ app. This was without any warning to the ABC Mouse subscribers! Please explain how/ why ABC Mouse can do this to loyal learners.

Our daughter loves the shapes game. Every day she would go on ABCmouse and play it then one day it’s gone. We had no clue what happened to it we just assumed it wasn’t popular and they got rid of it. Now our daughter barely wants to play ABCmouse cause the shape game isn’t there anymore. Now she plays maybe 10-15 minutes a day.She would go on do learning path then shape game for a good hour every day. We are very disappointed that they never mentioned that it’s a new app. If it’s that popular they should have kept it they only only got rid of it to make more money by making it a new app. They should have told ABCmouse customers about the new app and offered them a good discount price for the math app.Very Disappointed

They Shapey’s were one of my son’s favorite parts of ABC mouse. And then they suddenly disappeared without warning to be added as a separate app with an additional fee. I am also sure I wrote a review before that is not showing up but maybe I never hit send. It is extremely disheartening that abc mouse go these children to enjoy and make progress with the Shapey’s to then take them away and force parents to double their monthly or annual subscription cost or decide which app is more substantial for their child’s growth and development. I hope the same is not done with the nano reading app.
