Mindlist — To Do List & Tasks Reviews

I am enjoying how easy to use MindlistToDoListTasks is. Love the name too, Mindlist. The synchronicity between my Macbook and iPhone is extremely convenient. I don't have an Apple Watch yet, but I hope this is available for it by the time Series 6 watches come out. Due dates and assignments can get very messy on my online learning platform. I create a new "List", which is one of my courses. Then within that list, I create tasks, which are my assignments due for the week for that class. Really helps when taking 5 or more classes at once. Only could find 1 constructive criticim. I can only create tasks for reminder, within the scope of the month I am. Not much in the future. Other than that, I am very grateful for the inventors of MindlistToDoListTasks. Really helping me stay on track. Thank you!

Don't be a cheapskate and pay the $3.99 for the premium version. I found this program to be extremely simple, intuitive, and checked off all the boxes I needed. The premium version allows you to make some changes if you did not put things down the way that is ultimately best for you. The only thing I have yet to find is a way to print out all of my to do's on a sheet of paper which I like to have on the wall to look at at all times. Other than that, I really can't think of anything else that one would need that this doesn't supply.

I absolutely love MindlistToDoListTasks, it does what I need it to. Typically I never buy ‘pro’ versions of apps but I just fell in love with the interface and had to! I love that it connects to my computer and phone. But, I do have some ideas to make the user experience nicer. One of the pro festers is scheduling tasks for future days and accessing a calendar. I would like for there to be an option for a start to end date when making a repeating task (since duration of repetition isn’t an option). Another feature I’d love to see is an apple watch connection to see tasks of the day or to be able to sync notifications and such. That was a lot of critics and information but I hope I could hear back from the creator because I simply love MindlistToDoListTasks !

This is a great app! I use lists to organize work, school, and my free-time, and this is a great app for that! I am giving it three stars because I feel like there could be some improvements regarding the functionality of MindlistToDoListTasks . Specifically, I'd like if the entries in the lists automatically sorted according to the selected dates. Also, I wish there was a main list that combined all the entries from all of the lists. That way I could see what needs to get done today from each of those lists. Finally, I wouldn't be upset if i could make a sub-list. For example, it would be incredibly helpful if I could have a "School" list but have courses listed witihin that list. Ultimately, I really like the goal of MindlistToDoListTasks, but I feel as though there could be some improvements to really cater to its users.

Sorry, MindlistToDoListTasks is garbage. Was looking for a simple minimal task calendar that I can fit nicely on the side of my screen. This seemed to be the one.
For one, WHY CAN'T YOU MOVE THE WINDOW IF YOU'RE IN CALENDAR VIEW?? This is something that you the developers didnt think to address? That was a sign of things to come.
And good lord, I can only fit 16 characters in the quick-view of the day? For every task I have to click into three different windows just to see what the task is.
THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF MINIMAL. I can only view 16 characters with a quick view of MindlistToDoListTasks when it's the window is in it's smaller physical form. It apparently HAS to take up almost half of my screen. And of course I cant make the font smaller to be able to read my task, because NOTHING is customizable. It's only $4, so whatever, but that was a nice waste of time trying to get this to work.

Simple. Clean. Beautiful. Intuitive. This is exactly what I’ve been searching for. The customization is easy to use and MindlistToDoListTasks delivers your daily tasks in a simple to follow way.

I love the widget and that if you add a task from the widget, MindlistToDoListTasks defaults the category to “inbox”. You can then later go through and sort as needed. Quick and easy. I’m so pleased!

I like to keep my life simple and I need an app that just let me dump what I need to and move on with my day. No nonsense, no overthinking it. This is a young app, I hope it continues to grow in the right direction. Worth the reasonable price!

MindlistToDoListTasks is precisely what I was looking for. You can divide your to-do lists into different categories, and if you buy the better version, you can assign dates to tasks extremely easily. It will also sync up between your phone and mac automatically. You can choose between light or dark mode, and you can choose the color and icon for each category. MindlistToDoListTasks is so simple and clean, I just can’t rave about it enough. The only thing I would ask for is maybe more customization on the appearance.

MindlistToDoListTasks is the perfect minimalist version of a to-do list that I wanted! It doesn't try to add any additional crazy features. You just have to create a list and add tasks to it and that's it!

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I would love if developers could add functionality for dragging tasks between lists. I have my app setup into the lists: Today, Tomorrow, & Someday and it would be so much easier to just drag a task between the different lists when I want to keep things organized. I would also love to be able to edit the today list or even delete it.

It would also be awesome if I could sync between desktop and mobile.

This is my all time favorite to-do list & planner app. The simplistic look and minimal icons and colors are just right. I love how there are so many customization options. A suggestion is to add a timer. Then I wouldn't have to us any other app. One question is how do we sync Mindlist with other accounts? Is there a way to log in? Thanks! It will make MindlistToDoListTasks 100 times better. :D Another thing is, could you make a widget for the mac? I know it's possible for iphone and ipad. Thanks. :)

It’s the best task app out there. I have signed up and tried so many different ones and this one is simple yet effective. I use the widget on my Home Screen that shows me all my task, everything is organized and easy to use. It really has helped me with establishing habits and having a clear overview of my to-do’s. Also their customer service is amazing. I reached out and they got back to me super quick. Really the best app out there if you struggle with keeping momentum of staying organized.

MindlistToDoListTasks is exactly what I’ve been searching for! It’s super minimal and aesthetically pleasing. It has (almost) all the features I want. I suggested through MindlistToDoListTasks contact form that chronological date ordering would make it even more amazing, and it will be discussed. I paid the extra few dollars for premium to unlock all the colors and features of icons and although not important to everyone, I love how the new cute icons look now as I enter MindlistToDoListTasks multiple times a day.

Mindlist is the first app I’ve bought in over 10 years. I’ve been searching for an app like this since Wunderlist stopped being available years ago. I set-up all of my tasks and connected them to the calendar very easily. So simple, yet it is handling all of my information. I bought MindlistToDoListTasks within 15 minutes of trying the free version. It’s inexpensive and I don’t have to renew it ever again. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

I wanted a simple to-do list with a minimal interface but one that got the information hierarchy and interactions right. This is it. I love how I can sort by date. I really like the recurring to-dos. Even better is the desktop app. I can live it open during work and keep of tasks that I’d usually keep track on my whiteboard or sticky notes. Being able to add notes to a task is perfect. The simple delighters are the darling line icons and well thought out palette for icon colors.

This is exactly MindlistToDoListTasks I am looking for. I just want to list my tasks daily and weekly. I don`t need time tracking, or too many grouping function. MindlistToDoListTasks is perfect for my need, with concise appearance, and easy operation. ( MindlistToDoListTasks can also do grouping, too) Furthermore, MindlistToDoListTasks does not require montly or annual subscription. If you want, it only has one-time purchase premium, which is one of the reaons I recommend it so much. In addition, the color and icon are beautiful, too!!

This is MindlistToDoListTasks I was searching for for years. Simple. Everything is simple, you want to change the icon? Boom! Done. Easy-to-use. Icons are in perfect size and place. Best design I’ve seen over years. MindlistToDoListTasks got 5 stars in every aspect I was looking for. No clutters, no inconsistency, no useless features. Features meet minimalism. Even though it’s a minimalistic app, it has every main feature. Take my 5 star! Thanks, developers!

the features I wish MindlistToDoListTasks had pertains to the customizable features. While this is very user friendly, I would prefer to be able to cutomize the views. Or at least have an option to see the list of all tasks and the date theyre due at at once on the home menu. Being able to make simpler bulleted lists that arent necessarily a task but just a list should be available, as well as subtasks to tab in to the right from a current event and add more smaller tasks that pertain. Thanks!

I’ve been using Mindlist for a very long time now and I can definitely say it’s a great app very useful. I use it to help me remember stuff and it’s amazing!! I need help trying to turn my notifications on so I can receive them daily. Very simple but yet so useful for everyday tasks! Also premium is only 3.99 so I’ll definitely be getting that soon since I just found out about it(:

It is my first time downloading MindlistToDoListTasks and after a quick learn, everything is customizable and easy to use. I love the different colors and tags provided by MindlistToDoListTasks and it was totally worth it to purchase the premium version, the one-time payment just made everything so easy and convenient. Love MindlistToDoListTasks , thank you for developing such a great application

It's so close to being great. The minimal design is very appealing and pleasant. Doesn't overwhelm with too many bells and whistles. That being said, it's missing just a few too many basic functions. Dragging and dropping, organizing "Today" by project or group, a few keyboard shortcuts (like assigning a task to today) or even just automatically assigning one to today... all of this would help so much. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for future updates. In the meantime, back to Things.

I needed a simple app that had reminders, a calendar & notes. I tested over 1 dozen. Some were pretty, which is nice, but I wanted something I could quickly pull up & easily add to. This fit all of my needs perfectly.

It’s so easy to use & there’s no learning curve. After testing it for a day I spent the small amount for the upgrades.

I can set up multiple folders with my workouts, baking list, shopping list & any other list I need. Some are scheduled with a notification, some are just a future list. It’s easy to set it up the way you want without having to go through multiple steps to get there.

I highly recommend this for everyone.

It is very simple. You pay a one time fee and gain access to the full app. MindlistToDoListTasks has some good customization features but is still missing some things the major apps in the note taking world have. A good start would be a big sur icon and some sound effects. Two very simple fixes that would make this a little more enjoyable, I know some major changes would be hard for a small developer to achieve.

I hate the fact I can’t like actually make a list because there is no enter button for me to form my items in a list, just one long sentence. I also have major issues with the calendar not actually working. I just wanted something simple but they really didn’t put a lot of thought into things like this I suppose. Advertising it as 3.99 for life but they just want your money and seems like could care less about app functionality. Please update it so you can do this...

I am currently using MindlistToDoListTasks for my third year of college. MindlistToDoListTasks is fantastic to get organized and plan your week out. For me I just do a week in advanced planning but you could obviously plan for weeks ahead if you wanted to. I highly recommend MindlistToDoListTasks and personally recommended it to my friends and they love it
