Draw With Buddies Multiplayer Reviews

I’ve been a huge fan of the original Draw Something for over 10 years and have recommended it to many. I play with my 80 year old mom all they way down to my 10 year old granddaughter. It was a fun way to interact and keep connected with an activity all ages could play. There was no timer, loads of colors to earn or purchase. The developers promised a new and improved game but did not deliver. DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer is not worth downloading, but for those of you who were Draw Something advocates, download and give it a try for yourself. Then, leave a review with your opinion. Maybe the developers will listen and put together a focus group of fans along with those that never used the game so we can work together to create a game we all love. For now, I’m deleting DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer.

We have been enjoying draw something for years, and it was great, because we could do it at our own time set and reply on our own time. This new game is horrible. We have not even been able to connect with our friend, we do not like having to be timed, and it’s just a pressure situation not fun. We want to draw something back. This game will illuminate our socialization, which is very sad. No one wants to be stuck with a certain time that they have to play with someone. That certainly is not something that should be done in 2022. the most unfortunate thing is, I have not been able to find another program like draw something. Draw some thing as one of the highlights of first thing in the morning. Candy crush to get my free things, then draw something prior to playing words with friends.

draw something was a fun and relaxing game that allowed you to play with real people and make friends. this new game is not the same at all and is honestly not fun. if they were trying to make OG draw something better they failed, but if they wanted a completely new game…they sure succeeded in doing that.

for one it is no longer relaxing since they turned it into a competition with other players that are not always the best at drawing. not that there is anything wrong with that, but then there is no fun in the game when the other parties don’t put in effort. secondly, the previous way the game worked, although it was random selection, you could choose who you wanted to continue playing with and disconnect from players you didn’t. DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer for the most part removes this option.
thirdly, it’s hard to believe they named the game “with friends” when there is little opportunity to connect with others.

Overall, if ur looking for Draw Sosmthing 2.0 this isn’t it bestie :/

I’ve enjoyed draw something for years and when i saw that they were going to improve it, i thought that maybe the graphics would be better. but they completely changed everything and not for the better in my opinion. the drawing space or “paper” is so much smaller than it originally was, and they only start off with 4 colors?? i really hope they make the drawing space bigger or how it was before and give us the opportunity to start off with at least 6 colors and give us the opportunity to earn more colors as you play. another thing is they only give you three drawing options to choose from, though i think it’s cool we have the option to draw what we want.

I love this game a lot but it gets super annoying!!! So I was playing happily untill something that got me mad! There was literally three people in the game that we were playing IN PARTY MODE but the three people had kept going back and forth to keep choosing the word and draw, but I was the only one who never had a turn it just went back in forth for them and I never got to try. 😭😭😭😭😭😞😞😕😕😕 very disappointed in the game 😤😤😤I suggest you please fix that, it is also happen to many people I know it is so annoying! Like I never ever got a chance to play it and I played it for ever and the only way I got to pick the word is going on someone else phone! It gets me so angry! But mostly it is okay and fun! So please can you just fix that. Thank you! Peace ✌️

Game is kinda ugly overall. Like literally ugly. Just not a nice interface—it’s very pedestrian looking. Also not easy to navigate, I feel like I have to search a lot to find what I need to click on. Also lots of unnecessary things in the interface. Additionally, I don’t like how you can’t watch as someone guesses your drawing, it’s nice to be able to watch when they get that “aha” moment—also good to know what’s helpful or what isn’t in the way you draw. These are my initial observations. The old app this copied was designed so well. This has potential, it’s just not there yet.

OK, it’s a good app I guess but people I people I see that I want to write stuff with me and I draw stuff with me. They have a they have their face and I wanna do that. But I’m just trying to like you know it’s kind of confusing. You know what I mean but it’s really weird that we do not put our face on her profile picture if you to do that, but anyways, it’s kinda annoying though and people that drawing with other people they tell them their age and how about they just like walk away and it’s rude that they say these weird things and that stuff and I’m just trying to tell you that guys and yeah That’s all I have and I also forgot to add is that like why is there VIP like give it for free like don’t do that just let us have it for free it’s all I have now bye

I’ve been playing this game for a couple days with my friend. It has been a great time! But, we’ve noticed there are a few things about DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer that could be better. The first suggestion I have is to fix the weird stabilizer. I’ve noticed that whenever you draw too quickly that it makes your lines jagged, its super jarring & annoying to work around. Another slight issue I’ve come across is that there is no border on where you can draw, allowing you to draw over some UI elements unintentionally. This is also very strange & makes the game feel unpolished. One more slight suggestion that I will make is the ability to customize the order in which the colors on your pallet appear. It would be helpful, for instance, to be able to sort all colors of the same hue together. But, right now there is no such feature & the colors are all strewn about in whichever order you bought them im which makes for locating the colors you would like to use be a bit challenging, as differing shades of the same hue are separated. Additionally adding an opacity slider to the bottom of the drawing UI would allow for more in depth & complicated pieces to be produced by the user. To summarize the previous points, this is a great app that is loads of fun but it has a few issues that could be adjusted that would improve the user experience tenfold.

Oh the game is fun but it needs more colors and I need to stop glitching because when I answer a question write it says I said something else and he’s mean zero point you also need to give you like five points when you get a question right because you is the colors are 300 points getting nine points for getting all of them right it’s just dumb it’s a good game but at the same time it needs to add more colors that are for free I need to like make you buy like more stuff for like five or 10 coins also the robot know what ever you draw they’re cheaters

This is actually a very challenging game at times, despite its simplicity. It requires one to think about what kind of drawing will be the best hint, something that is not always straightforward. And guessing what other people’s drawings are can be even more challenging, especially when they aren’t good at what I mentioned above.

It would be nice if the developer would add a chat feature, although I guess some people would use it to cheat.

It also would be helpful to understand what the measure of being on the leaderboard is.

I really enjoy this game. It’s really nice that you can earn coins to unlock things instead of having to pay for them with real money.
There’s ads, but I really don’t mind them because they’re very short and you earn coins.

My only real problem with it is that I wish it was easier to play with friends 1v1. There should be a way to search usernames or player codes instead of sending a link that doesn’t work half the time.

It’s been a lot of fun! It gives me something to do to relax and just have fun. I love playing one on one, but the group guess and draw has left me feeling hurt and afraid, as users are allowed to send angry emoji reactions to drawings when they don’t like them (which I have experienced many times and seen happen to others many times). In my opinion, this serves no good function. Furthermore, the group draw seems overly competitive, which is less fun for the average drawer. For example, I once had a user in a group use the white board (before drawing for the group) to call out my name with the word stop, which I found very upsetting (especially since I’m not sure what it is exactly that they were telling me to stop doing? But it felt hurtful, embarrassing, intimidating, and the opposite of fun). I may not be perfect at drawing but I thought that the game was supposed to be a fun game not a game where you feel punished for not being an amazing artist (which I am not). At the risk of sounding overly sensitive, I would suggest limiting the use of angry/ negative emojis (especially in group settings), if possible? Or having groups with different levels of expected seriousness (or difficulty) so that those just wanting to have fun can just join a group of people who also just want to have fun and vice versa (then it is left up to user discretion). I know that DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer cannot control other people’s actions, these are just some suggestions :) Thanks!

I was playing DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer with my family and it was going smooth at first but then when I was waiting for a family member to do their drawing it popped up a verification thing saying to type in my iCloud user and password for some payment (I didn't tap anything) and I couldn’t even swipe it away because it’d just come back. Eventually I had to restart my phone so I could even get out of DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer and then I deleted it. So I do not recommend this game, find some other less glitchy and scammy drawing app.

This game is incredibly fun when you play on Classic because you can take your time with your drawing. I love the the gallery feature where you can go back and look at your previous drawings from playing on classic butttt it keeps crashing. I noticed that once you scroll to a certain point in the gallery the game crashes. Pleaseeee fix this I like to go back and see my progress but it crashes half way through scrolling down the gallery. I don’t have any other issues with the game other than that but it really irks me that I can’t see some of the first things drew because it keeps crashing!

Excellent Drawing App. How wonderful to see such developer response and action to the feedback they are given.

Here are my updated suggestions:

1. Paint bucket. Very important
2. Ratings. Let each drawing be rated and an overall rating system. Would love to see the art books (history) of your top rated artists.
3. Once rated, you could help matchup equally rated artists. Some want fast back-and-forth opponents while others want highly detailed and dynamic drawings. This could be a premium service (I would pay).
4. More word switching. Once only per matchup is terrible. Maybe once per turn.
5. Featured drawings - maybe a drawing of the day or week we could all see. Artist learn from others technique. It would encourage people to draw better and they would return each day to see if they were featured.

This game has a problem with the reporting system. I love this game don’t get me wrong, but there are a handful of users who keep drawing inappropriate pictures and harassing other payers, including me. As far as I know, although I’ve reported these accounts MULTIPLE times, yet they aren’t getting banned or removed and continue their inappropriate behavior. There is also no way to block another account, which would be a nice feature to add. Please fix this, I play this game to draw, not be harassed.

I like this game it’s really fun to have a timer to draw and see how good people can guess and how good people did and how good I do on picking what they drew. I think this game is really fun however, I am do you get in the way, but that doesn’t change my mind from liking this game. I love dying and it’s so fun the time myself it’s so great to be the one that earns the most points so fun to see what other people do and I really think this game is great. I think you should make more games like this because it’s really nice.

I used to have the Draw Something app, and lived it, but it’s no longer available in the U.S. I tried a few other drawing game apps, but they just didn’t measure up. Then I tried Draw With Friends, and discovered that their Classic 1 to 1 mode is very similar to how Draw Something worked, and now I’m really enjoying DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer! There are ads to contend with but since watching ads results in “coins” for in-game use, I think it’s a nice trade-off.

I decided to play Draw Something again and quickly realized it was no more (!). I searched DrawWithBuddiesMultiplayer Store for something comprable and this is what I found. It’s pretty similar. My only complaint is the lack of color choices (I’m playing the free version, so maybe there is an option I’m missing). You only get Black, red, green, light blue, pink, dark brown, and dark blue. That said, it’s still enough to get creative and I like that you can play several players at once. You can also play without a time limit - a big plus. They don’t inundate you with a bunch of ads, which would be a deal-breaker for me. The other thing I appreciate is it seems like the players put more effort into their drawings. I like that, and the ability to take as much time as I want to finish a drawing - these are the 2 best parts, imo. Overall, it’s worth a (free!) download, especially if you enjoyed Draw Something and are looking for a replacement! :)

It’s such a good app! A few years ago I played it with my mom, when one day it was taken down. 2024 it came out once more! Now it’s even better than ever!!! I give it five stars because they made many good changes! We full time travel so to all those people who are travelers, stationary, single or even a giant family, it’s a great game to escape reality or play with friends and family!
