Your app is horrible it’s not fun at all because you make it so difficult to use. I like to navigate the board the way I want to, but in order to move to a location you must use both hands which is extremely awkward and if you forget and try with one hand you make all kinds of stitches in error. Then adding insult to injury you’ve made it extremely tedious to remove them. Because you want in app purchases you have to buy or earn a stitch remover that lets you do this in quantity but in my case I had to take out each stitch individually. BORING!!!
The last straw was when I went on CrossStitch today to give it a second try I couldn’t find the picture I was working on yesterday. It should have gone straight to that picture it didn’t. You’re not worth the trouble. DELETED!! Goodbye.

I paid to “remove ads forever” on or around June 26th. All of the sudden, September 30, they are BACK, with a vengeance! Loud, annoying ads every few minutes. The settings had changed - it was like I had just downloaded it! Really ticked about that! I don’t know what happened, I didn’t delete it or anything. Literally just opened it and it had changed. SCAM.

My original review: I really like this but the constant annoying ads were driving me up the wall. I plunked down the $2.99 which is supposed to be “remove ads forever” but that’s not true - you still have to either pay for or watch ads to get things like shields, remove stitches...just know that if you want those things in the game, paying not to watch ads won’t get you past that. 🙄

I like that CrossStitch gives you the option to import your own pictures to color, but, there are too many ads that will play throughout a coloring session. An ad will play after about 25 seconds of inactivity, which is freaking annoying, especially if talking to someone in the same room. And when the completion percentage rewards come up, there is the option of watching an ad to triple the rewards given, or deciding to not watch the ad, but when you select No Thanks, you still have to watch an ad. I’m fine with having to watch an ad in order to color my own picture, but not a picture that comes with CrossStitch . I get that in order to keep CrossStitch free ads need to be included, but needed to watch an ad to do ANYTHING is ridiculous. And then having one come up automatically after a short period of inactivity, makes this only a 2-star app.
Another problem is that CrossStitch causes the device to heat up even if there is no other app open in the background. This problem gets worse when the device is connected to power, so much so that the heat is felt through clothing. I don’t have this problem with other apps that are used for longer periods of time.

I probably should have given it a one star. I love playing this. (5star there) but it’s so frustrating when it goes to a blank screen for no reason. I have played since last night and only got maybe 40 stitches done of same color in one small area when it happened tonight. Normally i have to wait at least a hour to several hours before it comes back to were I can play again. About ready to delete this game/app. Again if it wasn’t for that reason I would given it a five star

It is full of glitches. Once you move the picture to your next area and let go it jumps off some and sometimes the zoom size changes. The most annoying part for me is that it freezes constantly. And I’m not exaggerating when I use the word constantly. I tap or glide along to fill a square or squares and it’s hit or miss whether it’ll fill or not. Between waiting for your stitches to fill or catch up and the ads, makes this more of an exercise of patience. Which makes CrossStitch extremely frustrating and not relaxing at all. This may be the reason I delete it if they do not fix this.

There are way too many ads for this game to be fun. Start a puzzle? Ad. 5 mandatory ads disguised as unnecessary “rewards” at varying amounts of progress throughout the puzzle. If you decline the “triple reward” for an ad, you have to watch one anyway. And you have to watch one after the puzzle after having to watch one for 100% completion? I don’t think so. It’s ridiculous and frustrating. 7 ads per puzzle minimum is way too many. Also, there’s no way to turn off the auto zoom which is also frustrating if you’re trying to view the full puzzle and where the colors are in it. I’ll be deleting CrossStitch immediately.

I understand that ads are needed to make a game profitable. But this one is ridiculous! If you stop even for a few seconds to sip your drink it goes to an ad. Every picture you pick, you watch an ad. And the icon, where you can get bombs and such, (after watching an ad) covers some of the squares and it’s almost impossible to get them. You of course hit the ad icon a dozen times before being able to maneuver the screen to get the squares behind it. I’d pay to go ad free, but it doesn’t tell you if that price is per day, per picture, or permanently. This has the potential to be a great game if it wasn’t so aggravating.

Hi I have already had CrossStitch for less than an hour, and I have already found a major error. When you move you have to use two fingers, and of course none of my other apps are like that so I am not used to it at all. Worst of all, when you accidentally press the wrong square, you can NOT fix it.
I just want to make some suggestions for CrossStitch , PLS PLS make it so you move with one finger, and so you can fix your mistakes, the mistakes in CrossStitch make it a little annoying, pls fix this for me and everyone else, I have seen other complaints of this.

I agree with other people with the ads. Even when you say no to triple a reward so there will be no ad, you still get an ad. Like other people said, you stop playing for a few seconds, an ad pops up. You start or finish a puzzle, an ad pops up.

There is a place to be able to pay eliminate the ads for $4.99. Is this a one time cost or a continual cost to stop the ads? Like once a week, once a month, once a year?

In this review I’m going to talk about things I like and things I don’t like.

1. When I import an image, it makes the picture stretched out and the end result looks terrible. I have tried to restart the game, and I have tried to reposition the picture so that it gets everything, but it doesn’t work.

2. I think there is way too many adds. Whenever I go out of a picture, or whenever I finish a picture, it has an add waiting for me. Also when I go into a picture it has an add

3. (This might be a problem with only my device) When I go into a picture, I notice that there are some glitches on the sides of the picture. This problem just recently started and it’s really annoying. If you have any ideas on how to fix this problem, may I please hear them?

Now I will talk about the things I like

1 I really like the graphics and how when you use a pencil (Apple Pencil) to color the squares in it fills just like how you would hand stitch.

2. I like the daily picture option too because it gives a new picture everyday, and it’s something to look forward to.

I'm a little confused to why mystery isn’t actually mystery? You shouldn’t know the picture until it’s completed. Also the pics are beautiful before cross stitching it but after they look just not good. I used to do cross stitch joy on my Samsung and the quality after completing picture was beautiful. you should have the option to earn coins or something so you buy protect instead of having to watch an ad to get it. Wish that cross stitch joy was on App Store but it isn’t but that’s who you should take some tips from their mystery is legit mystery don’t know what is until completed instead of the actual image it is a question mark you need something to hide the picture or else don’t call it “mystery”

I do like this game but there are two points that really annoyed me.
1. In my opinion, there are too many ads. I do not like the fact that you have to watch an ad to get into a puzzle.
2. This may be a problem with just my device, but whenever I click on a new letter/number the screen moves to go to the closest group of that number. I personally find that really annoying because I do the picture in groups and in there i switch the colors quite often and a lot of times it took me out of my group to go and color somewhere else.
Otherwise I think it is a pretty good game but that really bugged me

It is a good app but there are some major issues the first one is that it will delete you pictures that you have don and then you have to do them all over again the second issue is that now some of the pictures cost money the final issue is the amount of ads there are so many that the game becomes not enjoyable please fix the issues it would make the game much better

Well I’m just going to say CrossStitch is AMAZING i don’t know how to cross stitch but when I do it on CrossStitch I can import a picture off my phone and cross stitch for someone to but a smile on there face!

... But I got to say something the adds are really aggravating when ever I start a new cross stitch I get an add and when I finish a cross stitch look another add and another add another ad and another ad so on
Sometimes I get two ads in a row (might be just be my device) The ads that are shown aggravates me there was one out where it’s at for only 1% of people can do this that gets me aggravated please lower the ads thank you have a good day 🦔

In CrossStitch I paid for credits and even though I clicked on them they don’t show up. I love CrossStitch but they want you to watch advertisements for one credit to color the picture even though they don’t give you your daily credits for being a vip. Otherwise I don’t mind watching the few ads to make up to finish coloring the picture. I have the same app on my phone they give me abundant credits for being vip.

I recently downloaded CrossStitch and I absolutely love it! My new favorite. I have one huge issue though….in the middle of coloring my screen goes completely white. The picture totally disappears & I have to totally get out of it & reboot it. Sometimes it happens repeatedly & it gets very frustrating. Please try to fix this.
Would also be great to have a new category added to show pictures that we hv started because sometimes I forget the last category that I was working in.

When I got this game it was really fun but there were just a few things I noticed first you can’t delete things that you made like let’s say I chose a dolphin picture and I finished it but then I realized that I didn’t really like it you can’t get it off your profile
Second is that there were a lot of adds like if I said I did not want to watch an add for something it would still show an add but I would not get the thing and third every time you go to the side of the image we’re it stops and there’s white it will through you back to the middle. thank you for reading!

I love this game! It’s the one I spend the most time on. I purchased the yearly subscription. I do have a couple of asks. Can someone please rearrange the pictures into appropriate categories? The newly created categories added from the original version are all mixed in together. Also, every “new” daily picture shows already completed for me. It’s possible I completed them in another category but if that’s the case then it’s not new. I would also like to see more new pics daily. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I completely love the game!! One thing I wish you could do is if you mess up when importing an image either by tapping too fast and having it the wrong way or the amount of squares (which has happened to me) it would be great if you could delete, or remove images from the import section!!

When I get to a point to watch a video to earn a reward the program freezes up. I’ve closed down the program and started over. I’ve closed down the program, turned off my iPad and then restarted. But it happens over and over again.
