Why do I need to activate a VPN???
iOS 14 specifically has configurable DNS. You don’t have to connect a VPN; you can alter the default DNS directly. Other apps like PrivateDNS let you do this by manually entering a custom DNS. It’s always enabled, whether I’m on WiFi or Cellular. But with this app, I need to be connected to the VPN for the DNS to work. Which means if the VPN gets disconnected or if I already have a VPN provider, the custom DNS won’t work if I’m disconnected from SurfShark. I’m disappointed. iOS and iPadOS already have a custom DNS feature. Why not use that with your app?

Doesn’t work
Downloaded it because I got SurfShark and I get getting pop ups to purchase SurfShark even though I’m currently using it and paying for it. This app simply stalled my internet. Couldn’t even connect to the AppStore with it on to leave this review. It blocked me from using the internet. Love the concept just it didn’t work on my iPad Pro.
