Horrible

Forget this trashy app they only wanna give “mainstream” artists who are played out and little kids listen to all the time to perform. But yet “smaller” artists perform 1 song or less. Like these” smaller” artists make better music than mainstream. Just another app that gear towards the charts instead of the actual art of good/great music. I would give zero stars if I could. Y’all could’ve let Bryson perform more songs, especially from anniversary since that’s his newest one. I only downloaded it for him but it was horrible. Moment house did such a great job for his performance. I bet if y’all had Saba, masego, amino, Tyler the creator, etc who are considered not “mainstream” artists they’ll get little time too. This frustrates me to the max I hate how radios and apps like this operate biased companies do better. We need companies who are geared toward all types of music and listens to their audience about what they want. Like an indie radio instead of 94.1 or 95.7 the beat, etc who replay the same songs over and over again.

Not getting paid

I redeemed a balance of $192 in rewards nearly 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t been paid. They claim that users get paid one week after redeeming their balance but this is NOT true. I emailed their customer support and they were not able to give me any information about why it was taking so long and when I’ll get paid. Display is not being honest/transparent so don’t expect to actually get paid anything by them.

Sarah is fantastic, but…

I’ll be honest. The 2 stars are entirely because Sarah Pribis is a great trivia host. I only really downloaded the app because I recognized her from HQ Trivia and felt like she had gotten a raw deal there, so I wanted to support her. And she does a GREAT job in spite of the numerous technological issues trivia has faced. The social media aspect of the app barely works. If I minimize the app for a second to do something else, the app refreshes and I have to restart a post. It seems convoluted to even post a photo or complete a post, and honestly the only friends I have on the app are there for the same reason I am—they are trivia fanatics. Recent rule changes dictate that I make frequent posts on the app, but up to this point I haven’t bothered because it’s more difficult than the fraction of a cent I might get. I’ll keep trying so that I remain eligible for trivia, but that rule change is also what sparked me to finally write this review…
