I thoroughly regret downloading this app. I was willing to pay because I needed a picture edited to look like a cartoon. But of course I want to try it out and see if it’s something I will use in the future. First problem: the most professional looking cartoon that they advertise is nothing like what the filters actually look like. The filters for the cartoon effects are cheap looking. You can get them for free anywhere. The second problem though, and the biggest one, is that this app would not allow me to access anything without signing up for a “free trial.” This free trial cost me $95. I’ve cancelled my subscription but it says I can access my subscription for the next year (there was no other option than the yearly one when I was getting into the app). Currently in the process of trying stop the payment before it goes through or get a refund. This is not worth the hassle. The initial set up is so confusing and not user friendly that you end up being charged $95 for something you can get elsewhere for free. Huge regrets. Lesson learned though.

I downloaded the app and browsed through to look at the filters. When I minimized the app to check a message, I couldn’t get back to try out the app. It only gave me the option to purchase. I tried to review the terms of service and privacy policy, but when I tapped on either of those it took me directly to the payment page. After trying THREE TIMES, it gave me a message saying I got a free three day trial. It gave me a redeem option that didn’t work. You have to click the X in the top right corner, then the X in the top left corner of the main screen. If it’s that much of a hassle to try for free, I don’t even want to think about the hassle after paying.

My account was charged $102 for clicking on the app and I’m beyond frustrated. I just wanted to see what the app was like and it charged my account. I don’t know if their is a glitch but I would just like my $102 back and apple can’t help me with this problem. I might have paid the $8.99 version but they didn’t give me a choice they just charged me for a year!! I’m so livid and mad that they could take money without even saying how much it cost . I just received an email stating that they charged me $95 plus the tax! I’m a stay at home mom of 3 and we don’t have an extra $100 that is our food budget for the week! I would appreciate someone to reach out to me and fix this problem!
