It is a cute idea and was fun. The recent update blocks meaningful trades. That is the dumbest idea the developer could come up with for a trading card game. The trade meter was fine as a suggestion to help people who are not sure. They have a meter babying and holding their hand and forcing them to click agree if it deems it one sided. But, people often intentionally make one sided trades otherwise why trade. It is not possible to write an algorithm that knows what trades people want to do. I give a lot more for a cards I want right now and so do others. I could spend hours trying to find trades that boost my position through wheeling and dealing and that is part of the fun with trading card games. I would trade when I did not want a particular card to try to get better cards for the cards people want so that I could have value when I wanted a card. I would never do an even trade just because someone wants a card I have and I have duplicates. Fusions for limited is a common trade I used to make that many people with duplicates are fine with for instantly getting card. Many people won’t but who cares you move on to someone who will until two people mutual agree on deal despite the meter. Disproportionate trades are literally the reason trading is relevant in a trading card game. I think it is a cash grab to block the ability for free users to get better cards to try to sell more packs.

3 week player here that got banned for trading. Game is definitely pay to play. You’ll probably pull 1-2 limited* legendary being free to play. I got lucky and didn’t have to spend so much because I pulled the ultimate grail at the very beginning, which is their “Dragon” card. I got finessed, and traded that for 4 mythic cards and broke it down. Then got banned for making those trades, I thought that was reasonable to me. What’s the point of having a trade system if people can’t trade how they want ? Over 5000+ cards and you only get to trade up to 4 cards at max. You see the same ol 20 cards being traded back n forth. By the same ol people. These developers are full of themselves. Their the ones giving out and making these trades whenever they want. They be having 100+ copies of 1 card and being greedy not trying to trade them away. Yet yall tripping about how I trade ? Or is it because I didn’t spend enough ? Or is it because i made it to the top 20 in rank and didn’t have to spend an arm an a leg ? People have options to click yes or no for a reason you know ? Worst experience I’ve had with a game. Send me my refund if yall would.

It’s fun at first, when the game actually puts you against winnable opponents. But after a good 8 or so matches you start getting put up against opponents with 6 legendary cards in their decks. Theres this one card, Martin Luther King Jr., That costs three energy and gives off 19 power. Not too bad right? Except for the fact that this three energy card gives 20 power to every other card, including itself, that gets played. Effectively turning a “3 energy card” into a card that supplies 79 power… in other words, a card that’s stronger than every single common/rare card that’s costs under 8 energy. There’s also this stupid cat card, another legendary, that is 120 power, you’d think it would cost like 12 energy, but it only costs 8. THATS 15 POWER PER ENERGY SPENT?? Meanwhile my normal cards cost 7 energy and drop a maximum of 90 Power. And then once I play them I end up losing like 50 energy. This game forces you to pay money for legendary cards to win against other players that have a bunch of legendary cards. There’s no strategy in this game. Just pair up a couple of cards and drop a few legendaries in there and you won’t lose against anyone who hasn’t spent money on the game. Which spoiler alert, is a good 95% of the player base.
