Frustrating!!!

Every time I have to check in to work, I have to turn my phone off and then back on just to get it to work, other wise it just sits at the load screen and does nothing, that’s overly annoying/frustrating and it makes me look like I’m 5 or 10min late for work everyday (not cool), the other thing is, having to keep your location turned to on all the time running in the background is BAD for your phones battery life, I have definitely had a decrease in my phone holding a charge all day and at work, I really feel this is a app for if your place of work gives you a work phone to use this on, it shouldn’t be on your own personal everyday phone, if I have to get new iPhone because the battery dies, is this app/work going to pay for a new one?? I currently can not afford a new phone, also don’t really like the whole having to take a picture to clock in and out, where are those being sent/used/stored/ect.????

The app is just frustrating!!!!!!!

Terrible app/website

While this may just be a review for the Heartland app, I would also like to mention that everything about this company is terrible. My employer has had countless big mistakes made and has had to put in so much extra time because of it. Neither the website or the app will pet me log in. I have the right password because the website logged me in once. If I go to reset my password on the website it sends me an email and then when I enter in a new password it tells me that it was filled out incorrectly. I tried with different passwords and nothing worked. On the app, if I click forget my password it says it sends me an email and it never does. Not in junk or spam or anything. Heartland is a terrible service and shouldn’t even exist. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

I’m 35 and I’ve had dozens of jobs throughout my life most of which I’ve been able to use direct deposit since I started working in the early 2000s. Heartland by far is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any sort of online HR cloud, suite.

It’s 2023 and they don’t have a calendar sync feature. You can’t leave the app running in the background and relaunch it without getting an error.

It made me create two profiles because you need an account to view my schedule and another account for payroll they’re not the same account you have two separate accounts for the same person.

To view the paystub I have to download a file I can’t just walk out like a PDF in app.

Ever since my employer started using this app, I’ve only grown more frustrated while trying to view my paychecks, now trying to to get my W-2 or just see my schedule.

I would not recommend this software to any potential employer.
