Lately you fight in a PVP, win and then see you received nothing. Also after you complete all 20 levels in the shopping mall, you see you are rewarded the orange chest but when you open it the chest immediately is downgraded to purple. By far THE absolute most annoying issue that NEVER has been addressed or fixed is, when you do a PVP, Mall or a fight against a random player in an event. You entire squad is frozen for over 2 minutes while the team you attacked generates the sword fighting Roger and you have to just sit there and watch yourself lose for the entire 2 minutes. This happens every single day throughout the day at random times against random players.
This game is also designed to make you constantly spend money to keep up with other players, currently the predator is $100. This is absolutely ridiculous, charging a $100 and you get 6 entry level items for the predator.

The game itself is pretty fun. It has a CoC type trophy system, so you will have to intentionally lose 5 times for every pvp victory. I have about 700k power, most of the people at my very low trophy level have 5mil+, so the matchmaking is atrocious. That’s not the real issue though. The game uses ads to gatekeep certain basic functions. Like I can’t continue in the shopping mall without watching an ad. The trick is, ads are never available. It’s pretty frustrating, especially when you are paying for things like premium. I stopped putting money into the game and went f2p because the ad situation is basically fraud. Wrote to the devs and they ignore me, so it’s a feature not a flaw of their game, unfortunately. It’s too bad, I used to be a paying customer. Update: ad situation is getting worse. I don’t get my dailies because I can really only watch one ad a day and that’s not enough. It’s almost funny, I’ve never had a game work so hard to avoid getting my money. Don’t put any money into this game, making it impossible to advance this way is lame. Devs blaming it on their third party ad provider is lame. Lame, lame, lame lol.

This game (if we can call it that) is okay for casual gaming but it is from being entertain or fun like all the other reviewers would have you believe. Cleared missions cannot be replayed or farmed, you have to wait until they are invaded and the rewards aren’t worth the time spent. You spend more time watching ads than playing. Watching ads will reward you gold turds that you need but never have enough of. The resources needed to upgrade the various rooms gets quickly ridiculous and the time required to complete upgrades is crazy....days, not hours, days! The micro transactions are overpriced for what you get and not worth it. I spent some money in the game when it came out to support the devs, had I known then what I know now I wouldn’t have bothered. This game is just greedy for your money without giving much in return, earns added revenue with ads while pushing the limits of people’s patience in order to get people to spend money (wait 15 days to upgrade Roger’s Place to lv9 or pay 6405 gold turds for instant upgrade...seriously?!?) Overall very disappointing. You’re better off playing Fallout Shelter, better and more fun.

Spent 50 bucks to get some rare legendaries in the April fools event (see the irony?) and got none of the good stuff. Contacted support and they politely told me to go pound sand. Condescendingly explained how it works. I bought the golden turds to buy chests and got two legendary rings I could have crafted for free. The rest was all epic and rare useless crap. I never spend money on these “gambling for kids” games and this is exactly why. The odds aren’t posted anywhere so, I assumed that it was a tiered kind of thing like all the other events. For example, you get something different after opening each chest or you get points for completing tasks. Nope, it’s completely random. Customer service treats you like a number and I bet I’ll get the same response as everyone else that has left a negative review down below. This game crashes all the time and I don’t recommend anyone ever spend money on this rat race of a game. Pretty scammy if you ask me but that’s just my opinion.

The premise is clever and the gameplay enjoyable on a casual level, plus it won’t take up too much time (the heavy wait times for upgrades will see to that), but I’m incredibly disappointed at the level of customer service I’ve received. Not often, but occasionally, watching an ad for rewards, or playing the TV mini-game, will freeze or crash the game, even in the latest devices. Don’t bother asking tech support for compensation of the rewards lost from the frozen ad, they simply will not give them to you. “We regret to inform you that we don’t provide compensation under such circumstances. Thank you for your kind understanding.”

Kind my foot! Other companies have been happy to make good when technical issues occur, which I accept can happen, but don’t expect that kind of treatment here. They’ll think of any excuse to make you cough up dough for lost resources, even for circumstances beyond your control. In-app purchases are already overpriced for what you get, and such little regard for players experiencing legitimate issues is making me reconsider my support for this game at all. Very disappointing that greed outweighs loyalty.

So I really like the game because I love American dad and I think these types of game styles are fun. However once you get more into the game you’ll start to battle players that have 60k-80k power and you’ll have like 43k power which obviously makes it unfair. You’d basically have to have a ton of legendary items to be that high and also have combat power and so on. So that part I don’t really like that eventually it’s like a pay 2 win game. You can get item chests sometimes from event stuff or after watching like 5 ads one every 6hrs but that would take a ton of time since you might even get a good item. It might be food or something else. There’s also one free chest every day but it’s not always a good reward. The building upgrades eventually get really bad to where you’ll have to figure something out and buy it with gold or save it and not get attacked by random people who will take your money and resources away. So yeah.

The game is great and it’s addicting but there’s a problem with purchasing on my account now. I normally pay for the premium and it’s instantly on there. Not this time though. I was billed for the premium and never received it. Showed the support team the receipts from Apple and my bank account but apparently Apple still hasn’t paid them. This has happened twice now in the past few days, even though Apple has specifically said there was not a problem. I know it doesn’t sound like much but $11 is $11. It honestly makes me just want to uninstall the game and not play it anymore. Not sure what the problem is that’s started lately but again, it just makes me want to stop playing. I’d honestly not recommend anyone to buy anything Incase it happens to you too. Figured I’d be able to save someone the trouble of what I’m going through currently where it looks like I’m just out of the money.

I really enjoyed this game in the beginning. I played through the whole story looking forward to what was beyond. I was highly disappointed when I made it to the dungeon area. I do not belong to a clan, nor wish to join one. I try to play with random players. The wait times to be paired to another player takes a few minutes. Most of the time I just give up. When I do have someone join me they sometimes just log off and I can’t continue to play the dungeon areas. I hate the black market sales. I saw an item I really wanted to purchase. It costed 3,000 golden turds. I only had 1,500. I watched a lot of ads, and played the bazooka shark stadium to collect as much golden turds as I could get. I couldn’t get enough golden turds to purchase the item and the sale ended. I figured the sale would come back in a month or so. I continued to collect golden turds. I finally collected 3,000 golden turds and sure enough the black market sale returned. Only this time the item now costed 3,900 golden turds. It seems like this game is setup so you have to buy golden turds if you want to buy a good legendary item. I’ve tried making legendary items in my weapons lab, and they usually give me something very mediocre. Nothing like the legendary items offered in the special events. I once played the special events to a point where I was in the 100 levels, and still never got a special legendary weapon. I hardly play this game anymore. I sure don’t spend money on it either.

I love this game. It’s amazing and fun, but the “Great (insert event name) Challenge” events are terribly unethical in my opinion and you should absolutely avoid them at all cost.

Here’s a by the numbers breakdown as to why you’re probably not getting unique items. This is assuming you pay for a premium account + event pass. Reasonable daily grind breakdown:

Daily invasion (1x): 25 rewards

Shopping mall (4x): 160 rewards

War (3 wins): 60 rewards

Labyrinth (2x - 100%): 40 rewards

Mimosa (10x - no loses): 150 rewards

Event daily quests (free): 90 rewards

Event daily quest (paid): 30 rewards

Weekly even quest (free/7days): 50 rewards

Weekly even quest (paid/7days): 65 rewards

Total rewards: 670 per day / 14,070 per event

Meaning you still need at least 15,930 rewards to get all of the unique items.

Price is 3,725 turds for 15 levels

Premium account: $5

Event pass: $25

Gold turds ( 14,500 ): $100

Gold turds ( 2,500 ): $20

Meaning you will pay AT LEAST $150 and play AT LEAST 4 hours a day for 21 days to get all of the unique items. Every other event is usually $20-$25 a month and you can grind it out which is fun!

These specific events however, are trash… the real “challenge” with this event is how much money they can scam out of players. Boo 👎

I have been playing for a while now, since launch. I love the game in a lot of ways but it could always use work. I was just over the moon with the new krampus event and bought the small pass and mimosa tickets so I could get coal. Chose not to pay the extra 5 to skip levels cause I actually want to play. Was playing all day at work and I get the suspicious activity thing. That is great and all cause bots overwhelm this game. My problem is I don’t know weapons. I guessed wrong every time. Even googled them to know what that type of weapon looks like and got it wrong. I took a screen shot and asked others and they chose what I did that was wrong so I am not the only idiot who doesn’t know weapons. It needs to be easier choices. Like which box has a roger in it or Steve. I know American dad just not weapons. Even which box has a weapon on it and don’t select the empty boxes. So on and on of easier ways to do that. I guessed wrong and got banned for an hour when I am real and paid to play all day. This game punishes those who want to play cause they don’t have the bots under control. Maybe don’t keep the real people who are even paying from playing. I worry what will happen if I keep guessing wrong. I run my own clan and talk all day, a bot wouldn’t do that! I sent a ticket to support on it, depending what happens I may just stop playing

New players should be prepared to grind multiple events to get gear that lets them compete. And it is worth dropping the $5 on the “cheapskate pass” when you start. The extra builder is always good and the initial premium days really help out a lot. The game has lots of interesting strategic base and character development. PVE campaign is fun but limited. PVP requires understanding tournament mechanics and good event gear to compete. The biggest barrier to new player enjoyment are the long-term whale alts who are unbeatable when you are at their level. These specialized teams stopped leveling up years ago so they can dominate the family land (clan war) “only player level x” locations. Their hologram-equipped, legendary-stickered event gear assembled from years of battle passes makes them untouchable. And sometimes you run into these unbeatable folks in the shopping mall or tournaments, with their deceptively low power scores and well, better luck tomorrow. Wait times for a random equal level player for the co-op only labyrinth are very long, up to 20 minutes, making critical hero skills hard to improve, and that is a problem, too. So a new player has to be very patient, grind multiple events to be competitive, and slowly accumulate equal level friends at mid-high levels.

I started off playing this on my phone but after making a few in-game purchases I decided to start a second game on my iPad. That way I can only spend money when I buy a iTunes card. I don’t mind spending money on something I enjoy however I hit a big paywall. I can’t acquire enough resources to upgrade anything without spending real money. I keep getting robbed by other players and even with a premium account I can’t save enough resources. When I try to rob other players, my team losses even if I out rank them by a couple hundred points and training take days per level. Lastly, all of the gear they give me for resources gathering my character aren’t high enough to equip which brings me back to the first problem.

Hello app developers. Thank you so much for the update. I just started the new update today and I am upgrading my situation room to get all the new rooms. I really appreciate the update because it has been a while. But you made an unnecessary adjustment. The way in which you changed how health decreases in a battle was bad. It was much easier to gauge how much health I had relative to my opponent when the health bars faced opposite directions. Your new update makes it much more difficult to know when I need to use a battle power. Also there is a bug in the new update. When I have a battle on 2x. It’s all of a sudden really slow. I have to tap the button and cycle it back to 2x before it works again. Please fix these two things.

The game is great and the devs are w-h-o-r-e-s for offering better weapons and or gear and or anything in general to give you an edge so basically pay to win almost but not really but my biggest problem is tournaments take wayyy too long. I have premium so I can x4 my fight time basically making each stage take 30 seconds or less but each stage takes 3 minutes which is ridiculous because I’ll just be staring for minutes on end to try and get tournament gear but I honestly can’t do them because it’s actually so morning because I’m just staring at a roster for 10 out of the 15 min of each match and it’s horrible. I just raid players now and log off

aaaa I love this game so muchh. I didn’t expect to since i haven’t gotten hooked into any mobile games in a while but this had me obsessed. I’m a college student and since I didn’t have classes today I ended up getting wound up in this. It’s so fun and relaxing. I love American Dad a lot, so having all the mini interactions/dialogue with the characters and all the mini references from episodes is so awesome. I haven’t watched the show in months and the mini references from the past episodes genuinely made me laugh. And all the clone rogers? I love them and I’ve genuinely getting attached, I don’t think I’ll have it in me to kick any of them out, the being able to name them is a cool bonus. Awesome game, can’t wait to see what future updates bring!

I have been playing this game for a year and I play everyday. One thing I love is that there is always something to do when playing versus games you play for 15 minutes and have to wait til next day to play again. However, it seems you have to buy a premium account to get any where once you get to the higher levels. It got to a point that everyday I played and earned money when I logged on the next day I had less than I did the day before because of people attacking my house. Yet I had Reginald koala collecting coins for me and spent no money. I could never get ahead and was further behind than the day before. So, I do spend the 4.99 a month for the premium account which isn’t much but it seems to be the only way to progress. As long as you don’t mind spending money this is a great game and highly addictive.

You should be able to store food an other resource to help fight event on top of the ones you get from clan members/events / daily objectives also Looking to increase the mystic drop on rogers that is hard to get or legendary that are not commonly drop I have At least 6 of the same legendarys it’s not a problem it’s just I would have to wait for event or buy Re-rolls which are a arm an a leg some days also I think you should add night invasion because I mainly be looking to fight for chest like 12-3 hr everything else is great I’m level 55-70 rn ssr 8 Ps. add a mic bottom would love to chat with clan about what gear to apply an this game is better then hustle castle I have level 100 over their an I struggle to get everything single thing but over here it’s miner issues

This is coming from someone who doesn’t really like phone games. This one is very fun and interesting. I suggest joining a clan so you can ask for resources and talk with people. The game is definitely a “Grindy game”. You could also say that it’s a pay to win game but it’s really not. If anything dumping money into the game works against you. I’ve seen a lot of people that have bought things and still lost to me in the PvP portion of the game.

If I had to change one thing about the game it would be the fact that you can’t have Rogers speed up the time for building rooms. Also adding an in game notepad to keep track of stuff you want to upgrade next would be nice. I hate having to go back and forth between the game and my phone notepad.

I love this game so far! American Dad is my favorite cartoon and when my husband showed me the trailer it was an instant download for me. This game is exceptionally entertaining! I am a very casual gamer, I don’t really play phone games at all. Since getting this game I’m obsessed with it. I didn't think it would be as fun as it is but it’s like a good book, it’s hard to put down. It’s like playing through an episode. So far I haven’t had any need to spend money and my enjoyment hasn’t ended yet. It has the option of in-game purchases but I have felt the need, I have been able to play the game perfectly fine with the resources I receive in-game.
There is so much to do and so much thought put into this game. For little to no advertisements I hope this does really well. Overall it’s one of the best games I’ve played, ever.

This game is the best. It’s beautifully designed and plays really simple. If you keep at it the game is set up to keep pushing you along so you level up at the same rate as your game play as long as you’re taking the time to do your missions and upgrade your house. The game also offers many opportunities for free golden turds and free extras to things like mimosa and football tournaments so that you really don’t have to spend your own money if you don’t want to. But you end up wanting to to progress faster and help support the developers with updates. It incorporates strategy in a unique way like Rock Paper Scissors where you have to build a smart army to beat players/levels above your skill. 5 stars all the way!!
