I cancelled my subscription before the trial we've date and was still charged 63.53. I didn't like the app but you still took my money?

I have emailed multiple times as I was charged and I don't even have a subscription. Meaning I don't have a receipt number either and that's how you're supposedly meant to request a refund. I haven't received any response. Gonna report it as fraud with my bank. $89! I want my refund but seeing all these comments, probably scam artists

I started the trial for $0.99 but the app never downloaded and the subscription never showed on my Google subscriptions. So when I was charged for both the $0.99 AND the $60 I am livid! I have no way to cancel the subscription that is not showing because the app never downloaded and I am not about to download it now. I have emailed and tried to find a number to call but there is no number. I want a full refund!

I have been emailing and trying to get help canceling the subscription and now you are trying to charge me almost $60. In my email I mentioned that I'm desperately trying to cancel because I'm very short on cash. I need this taken care of. I need help! This is adding so much stress to me that I do not need! Hi. My husband purchased your app within the last year to help him sleep. He is a 100% disabled combat vet and suffers from debilitating Ptsd and insomnia. Recently, he had to purchase a new phone and when he contacted you about transferring his subscription, he was told “sorry but no.” I don’t often take the time or energy to contact customer service on these apps but this made me very angry. Loona should make it a priority to assist ANY veteran that asks for help. There are are apps far better that your that show kindness and empathy to people who are suffering. I cancelled the trial on 9/11 I states why and stressed to not charge my account. You charged my account today 9/17/21. I want my money back asap. I've already forwarded an email but you ignores that and charged my account anyway. I said I need to revise my budget the subscription is too expensive yet you are charging people's accounts anyway. I want a refund not in 14 days but as soon as possible. That's not right.

Paywall induced insomnia

I had been seeing ads for Loóna fairly regularly on Instagram stories, and when I realized I was looking for a calming puzzle to play while getting ready for bed, I decided to give it a try. The app itself is beautiful. The modeling of the dragon shrine is so smooth and meticulously detailed, and the lighting is warm and calming; I thoroughly enjoyed the music matching the scene, that I could continue listening when I was done with the puzzle, and even that I could set a nightly reminder based on when I usually woke up. So I finished the first puzzle and wasn’t quite ready for bed, I decided to do another...oh, it’s locked. Okay, I figured it was just one a night for free, and that if I paid for plus, I could unlock it all instantly. At least, that’s what I thought the ad for loóna plus was implying, it wasn’t really clear on what content was hidden behind the paywall. Fast forward about 24 hours. I get my push notification that it’s time to unwind; I get myself all comfortable in bed after a stressful day and I’m excited to see what this new sleepscape will look like. But? It says it’s not available? My push notification said it was there but...it’s locked. One. You can do a single puzzle for free. I guess a well design app comes with premium pricing. No, I’m really not interested in a free trial, as I don’t anticipate paying beyond that. A little more transparency up front would have been lovely.

I tried to like it...

I really wanted to like this app. Coming out of the gate, it was extremely slow and boring and yes, that will put you to sleep but do you really want to pay $40 to be bored to sleep? It is the equivalent of an audio book narration being set to half speed (that you can’t speed up), and combined with a coloring game. Because I had already spent the money, I was trying to make the best of it, so I adapted. But then two months into the app it started getting laggy and wouldn’t load or would crash once it did finally load. I contacted loóna asking for a refund or for someone to fix the app. I got an email back saying that they were looking into it and then nothing. It’s been about three weeks and I still haven’t heard anything. I deleted and reloaded the app, hoping that would work but it didn’t. Instead, it has forced me to start all over and to have to replay the same boring loóna scapes that I’ve already done once and would never want to have to repeat. The only thing there was to look forward to in this app is that you get a new scene every day - well, until you start getting into the seasonal changes and then you’re doing the same recycled scenes with snow and Christmas decorations. The graphics are nice, I’ll give them that, but I spent way too much money on the app for that kind of result.

Not enough of a trial....

of what they want you to pay for a year of! I’m sure one of their people will reply saying I am incorrect like they are doing for every other bad review buuuut... Unless you choose to subscribe and pay the full amount, you will not actually get any sort of trial during the time period they keep bringing up. I was allowed to do only one activity on the first day of my trial which was coloring in this dragon’s shrine thing. Not one single activity was available to me after that first one, durinf the entirety of the free trial. That first activity itself was boring and tedious but I wouldn’t say it made me tired or relaxed. I am sure the experience would be different from person to person, so you might enjoy it! I personally feel that I would need to do at least two activities before being able to decide if I wanted to pay for the subscription. At this point, the single activity didn’t pull me in at all so I won’t be subscribing. If their playlists and little stories that you can listen to quite a few of during the trial actually interest/relax you then I could see it being worth the price. Personally if I want to listen to someone read me a story, I will go into my audible account and fall asleep that way. Add more activities to the multi day trial... Like actually the same amount as nights in the trial lol and available without paying for the subscription first! The you might have another customer!
