I like MyKeyboard . It has everything I need, but it doesn’t capitalize i. I can’t have a keyboard that every time I need to type I it appears as i. If developers fix this, I will give 5 stars

The same limited customization as every other keyboard app. No key relocation. No row changes. You can change fonts, and change colors. You can turn keys and feature rows on and off. So what? Support doesn't offer an email, just a bunch of we're-cool back patting about being open source.

Look if I wanted to write a custom keyboad app I'd have done it. All I want is to move some keys.

Maybe rocket science key relocation is available in the paid verzion. But, since the differences aren't spelled out, I'm reluctant to pay ten dollars to find out.

I typed “youre” expecting it to auto-correct to “you’re” but it didn’t. It underlined it, like it was a typo. I clicked it to teach it, but then when I pressed the space bar to continue typing it was wrong again, this time in a different way. I don’t have time for programs that don’t work, so I deleted it. Unfortunately, I had already purchased an upgrade. Oh, well. Lesson learned.

App does not work on iOs 17.4.1; it's stuck on the 5 step screen with no way to go to another screen, even after fully closing and reopening MyKeyboard .

Edit: Problem still persists after a full phone restart.

I can’t see anything that I have copied. The clipboard history is always empty

I asked for support using two of its support channels and never did get any response afte one week. Useful but still has a lot of Bugs.

I like the keyboard and it's privacy aspects, how er the Dutch spelling check is not up to par with SwiftKey. I have to retype so often it's driving me mad. I really do hope it can be fixed, otherwise it's just not worth it.

Why is the full access link allowing the developer to gather and use anything I type in the keyboard?

it's a cool concept and it makes your keyboard layout easy to customize.
Some problems: several screens in the editor have buttons that don't work. Such as on the screen to purchase and upgrade, the 'Cancel' button does not work but all the other button do work. I had to exit/close MyKeyboard .. After finishing a keyboard layout, I pressed the '+' to start a new layout but MyKeyboard hung up and I had to close MyKeyboard . The move cursor option would not let me select a position, kept going back to ‘Start of Left Word’.
Would be nice to add a swipe keyboard too.

MyKeyboard would be AMAZING if I could add a comma to the main keyboard screen . Sadly, you can add . ? ! … : Why not replace … with a comma? Or : with a comma. No one uses :

I would like to see some sort of swipe or flow through capabilities. Also the word correction/prediction is horrible and the import from Swiftkey does not seem to function. I absolutley love the customization I can do otherwise. Please dont stop improving it. You have the chance to make it the best one yet.

Okay, so, MyKeyboard itself as is perfectly fine- but it could be better. (Although it’s still fine as is, don’t get me wrong)

Well, what are the suggestions i speak of?

Well, for one, custom key images. (not text- images.) While the images we already have work perfectly fine, There’s just some niches that can’t be filled with the default images.
I.E- Specific letters that aren’t in unicode, things only represented via fonts (I made a keyboard for my conlang so I had to improvise), Abstract symbols, Or if you just want an even more personalized keyboard. The list goes on from there.

Another suggestion is making the UI for the keyboard selection more compact and user friendly. If you have multiple keyboards with multiple sub-keyboards, you’re gonna want to stay organized. Which is difficult since you can’t reorder them.

I think my third and final suggestion would be inserting files. Self-explanatory.

I got this so I could have a numbers row. Works well. If you have never added an extra keyboard before, switch to this one with the globe button on your current keyboard. Could look a bit better though.

MyKeyboard is almost perfect but i wish there was a way to add a current date button and we can edit the format to like yyyy-mm-dd or mm/dd/yy etc

Provides the best split keyboard I have found since Apple took away the built-in split keyboard from newer iPads. Just spread apart the keyboard with 2 fingers.

Since Microsoft is discontinuing SwiftKey I went looking for a new custom keyboard and found this one. Love the options and the text suggestions are great. I'm still tweaking my custom keyboard and loving it so far. Wish I found it sooner.

I wish I knew about MyKeyboard before. It is very customizable and much better than Swiftkey. I love the ability to move the cursor with a key and being able to swipe down to enter the symbols at the top of each key. How do I donate or pay for MyKeyboard to support the development?

So this is the only one I have found that gives me extra characters without extra rows. This replaced g-board for me since it has so many bigs and never updated. This uses the built in text replacement feature. Has a good swipe function, delete function and is very customizable for free.

Note: it does not know at first but does learn quickly, as others have stated. A easy work around is to create a text replacement and put the contract spelling (you're) and in the shortcut field (youre). Problem solved.

MyKeyboard is great. I have one feature suggestion, I would like to be able to type by swiping on the keyboard just like on the built-in keyboard on iPhone.
