BeWeather 3 Weather Widget Reviews

I start this off by saying I really wish this would have worked. When I saw BeWeather3WeatherWidget it immediately gave me throwback vibes to my BlackBerry torch of 2011. Back then they were using weather underground for weather end it worked extremely well. BeWeather3WeatherWidget itself has a lot of customization as far as appearance goes but the dealbreaker is their new weather provider. Their attempt at current conditions are hilarious. It’s July 13 as I write this and when I was just in Clearwater at 10PM it told me it was 94° even though it was 77 outside. Now I am in Tampa and it says that it is 52. I saw other reviews that mentioned the temperature being off but I did not realize it would be this bad. I uninstalled it and recommend anyone looking at BeWeather3WeatherWidget to go elsewhere until they do something about the new weather provider.

firstly, this is a visually stunning app. gorgeous. beautiful. infinitely customizable.

Secondly, the forecasts and current weather are hilariously wrong. I monitor 4 other weather apps, and this is always at odds with them. a lot. for 3 days now everyone (INCLUDING BeWeather3WeatherWidget) has been giving us weather alerts about a monster snow storm coming tonight. BeWeather has said “0.1” of snow” ??? Today it says “0.6”. We are supposed to get a FOOT of snow. I don’t even understand how it can be this far off. It’s like they don’t even read the Alerts they push (which still doesn’t work, just blank screen when tapped). 3 other apps and Alexa say Temp is -9/-10. BeWeather says -1.

This weather app is everything you hoped the others would be. Nice interface, customizable themes/icons/fonts/etc, no annoying ads, no random videos about some weather phenomenon happening in Zimbabwe…it’s easily the best.

BeWeather3WeatherWidget is truly remarkable. Very well designed and blows the other apps out of the water.

The layout is one of the best but since switching to dark sky and then the newest source, OpenWeatherMap, the forecasts and real time data are so far off it is comical. As much as 12 degrees for the current day’s forecast and up to several inches of rain or snow now rendering BeWeather3WeatherWidget totally useless. Please spend the money and go back to weather underground to get accurate data. Your statement claiming that WU data is no longer available is not true, you just don’t want to spend the extra money to use it. I understand they raised the cost substantially but I and many others would be willing to spend a reasonable yearly fee to get accurate data in a nicely laid out app.

I am impressed with this weather app. AppAdvice notified me about BeWeather3WeatherWidget today so decided to give this jewel a try and I like it so far. Lots of cool options like colors and fonts and other cool options. Free is good especially if it is a good weather app and so far seems to do what it is suppose to.

I have been using BeWeather since I have my Blackberry Curve 2130 in 2010. And I have to say that I was wishing so much to see BeWeather3WeatherWidget again and now I’m glad to have it again. Now is better thanks for the experience and time BeWeather3WeatherWidget have been around doing the best. Thanks for the very customizable widgets that have now, I really love it…

This is working so much better. Everything. I went through the spells of “no updates“ in the beginning years etc. but things are working and I’m very happy.

All the info you want and fairly customizable as well. Temps were off for me a few months ago, but they have been matching up with my neighbor’s weather station for a while now. Great widgets too.

one of the best most accurate i’ve found. the hour rain display always spot on. only thing i wish that would make it better would be if it worked in conjunction with the navigation app so you can see any bad patches you might hit. i ride so it’s always hard you check the major locations before leaving but there’s always a patch in some unknown place that gets you . my go to app . oh maybe i’m just not the brightest but an explanation of what some of the options are that you have.

I have BeWeather, Dark Sky, and AccuWeather on my phone. BeWeather and Dark Sky are always spot on. AccuWeather isn’t.
BeWeather is accurate, has all the information I need/want. Beautiful and highly customizable. So pleased I found it. Thank you to the developers.

BeWeather is a great weather app. I love all the Customizations that BeWeather3WeatherWidget has. It is By far one of the nicest weather app. One thing that I wish that BeWeather had was the Ability to be put on an Apple Watch.

Updated 12/21. Still Worst app ever. Had it for years and it’s gone downhill fast. Never updates. Always have to reboot phone for the widget to work. Temperature is 10 degrees off. What’s the point of a weather app if it’s not going to give you the accurate weather. These “developers’ need to find a new line of work or Apple needs to yank BeWeather3WeatherWidget. Do not waste your money on this if you want a reliable weather app.

Every feature I need and completely customizable colors and widgets. No adds and free. It is my go to weather app on both my phone and tablet.

Fantastic app. Clean interface, plenty of options for customization, but doesn’t overwhelm with information. Good weather alerts too.

Text in Next 24 Hours section has been reduced in size by a third and is no longer readable to aging eyeballs.

iOS per-app accessibility zoom does not appear to help. Please give us a text size option or restore the formerly legible text.

Once again you can’t find anything better then BeWeather. The polish on the new version is great. Only if the communication on why the version I already paid for stopped work and the fact that I have to pay again is why only 4 starts. At this point I would like to see something for my second charge like Apple Watch compatibility with a face complication.

There are gorgeous weather apps and there are weather apps that deliver scores of data. BeWeather is the ONLY weather app that gives me the absolute best of both worlds.

Both BeWeather3WeatherWidget and the widget (!) are hands down the smoothest way to quickly check the weather for my commute, check on friends and family in other cities and countries and keep tabs on the weather in places I’m preparing to travel to. (I’m typically not a fan of widgets!)

BeWeather might actually be my longest used 3rd party app (since Blackberry days) and as long as it’s around I’m buying it. Nothing is as consistent these days. :)

How many times do I have to pay for an upgrade that is basically the same? / What happened to the temp that used to be visible in my homepage? / Is that coming in the next paid update? / I know you must make money but do it like everyone else, get new customers instead ripping off customers / If you can do that, change it to a monthly or yearly fee / Let us decide if we want to keep BeWeather3WeatherWidget / Don’t ruin a good thing

I have used this since the original iteration on the iPhone and it continues to evolve over the many years. I really like interface and everything seems so clean. It was especially appreciated when BeWeather3WeatherWidget was quickly updated after a bug was showing an ad for paid users on a recent version. Just add iOS 14 widgets and it will be near perfect!

Been using beweather since the iPhone 5. Loved BeWeather3WeatherWidget and was happy to pay for it twice over the years. It was Simple and easy to use! Some of the fastest alerts out there! Today I updated ver 3.1.24 and now it has adds for other apps!😢 I don’t like adds In apps that were paid for.

I don’t know what happened to my old app that I loved, but it is far and above better than the competition, so yes I will buy what seems to be the same thing I already bought again.
It has all the radar views and information and accuracy that I have set as the standard for comparing all weather apps. Still the winner.

I still love BeWeather3WeatherWidget as it is simple and works great. I love it as it has a weather report written in easy to understand language.

They only get 4 stars due to fact that the old version stopped working with no explanation. Going to iTunes Store I find the new app with no mention of the old app. In addition , they I had to purchase it again and there was no upgrade price for existing users.

Much improved app and widget compared to BeWeather 2. The widget itself shows you pretty much everything you can need and it’s fully customizable.
The only thing that isn’t working for me is the radar map, which seems to be just some image that never updates.

I’ve been a BE Weather user for over 12 years or more, back from when it was just Berry Weather for BlackBerry. I was so sad when it left the market a few years again, but this new version is great and my favorite weather source is Dark Sky so I’m double psyched. Thank you for coming back! 😊

Love BeWeather3WeatherWidget but sadly had to pay 3.99 to purchase when I should have only had to pay to upgrade because I paid for BeWeather 2 already!!! Didn’t like the fact that it just disappeared one day with no warning but I’m glad that it’s back!!!!!

Was once the best weather app on the market...now super glitchy....radar showing weather where there isn’t any. Incorrect forecasts and temps. I depend on weather apps to make routing decisions for my job and BeWeather3WeatherWidget is completely unreliable. Uninstalled.

I’ve been a paid subscriber of BeWeather3WeatherWidget for years for a number of reasons. Very customizable for the Apple Watch and very accurate weather forecasts.
With the latest update, it no longer supports the Watch and as such it greatly diminishes my use.
I’m still using BeWeather3WeatherWidget on my phone, but I’m looking for a better app that I can use on my phone and watch.
Please bring back the Apple Watch support and customization.

This is still my go-to app for forecasts, but I miss the forecast detail that it used to have. Also, there has been an annoying glitch for a couple years now with the radar that shifts the radar image vertically as you zoom in or out. Now I use another app MyRadar just to get accuracy
