I hate this new app. Wish I could reload the old app. I can’t rely on this new one

Terrible. I would have thought they would have fixed the issues everyone has identified already.

If you have the old app, don’t replace it with this one until you have to. I made the mistake of downloading it, and it is unreliable. It takes a long time to download new editions. This morning, I am unable to download the edition at all (I even uninstalled and reinstalled to app to no avail). It’s frustrating being a paid subscriber and not being able to access the paper. I was able to open the edition on my phone because I still have the old app installed there, thank goodness.

Daily Item, please fix this!

Great that item allows you view the obituaries. Could we be allowed a small number of articles to view daily, like 2, or three each week?

Enjoy the mobile app greatly except for needing to sign in to read the obituaries.

I feel fortunate to have the Daily Item online as well as the physical paper delivered when we are home. I realize that it is difficult to keep a local paper in business. The Daily Item provides important local information which is not available anywhere else. It is very convenient to be able to read the paper online when we are away.

I love reading the DailyItem and catching up with my old stomping grounds. The new app seems much quicker and efficient.

Still like the feel of paper in my hands but TheDailyItemSunburyPA is great when traveling!

TheDailyItemSunburyPA provides me with all the important news updates 24/7. There is no need to access another source.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the paper Paper. But being able to read the on-line Paper is a real luxury, especially when it’s raining or snowing outside and the driveway is icy or slippery in the dark, early morning!

Monday’s are the only day I read the Item online, but my morning wouldn’t be complete without it! I find the e-edition easy to use. But it isn’t quite as pleasurable as holding a “real” paper in my hands the other six days!
